Girls Day at the Movies! My friend and I spent the afternoon at Regal Cinema Atlantic Station to see Sinners, and overall, we had a great experience. We purchased our tickets a few days in advance online, which made the process super easy and seamless. We arrived on time for our 12:45 PM showing in Theatre 11 (IMAX). The theater and restrooms were both clean, which I always appreciate. It's been a few years since I last visited this location, and I was pleased to see some noticeable upgrades--especially the addition of a bar, which was a nice touch! Now for the one downside: the seating. Unfortunately, the seats are not numbered, which caused confusion. Many guests were literally counting seats to figure out where to sit. That really took away from the relaxed vibe. I was also a bit disappointed that the seats didn't fully recline--something I've grown to expect from modern theaters. Aside from that, we enjoyed our girls' day out and the movie itself. Management should definitely address the seat number issue to enhance the overall guest experience. read more

Went to watch 28 years later and it was a very subpar movie experience. $66 dollars spent for 2 adults for a VIP theater that had no VIP options open such as dining, beverages, or amenities that made it worth while. On top of feeling like we over paid, the movie had a lot of glitches during the first hour. During action scenes or any moments where it seemed frame rates climbed, the screen would momentarily freeze & get slightly blurry. Definitely not worth a $66 movie experience. The management here should be fired immediately. We are just leaving there after watching the new Michael Jackson movie and will not be back until they change things. The women's restroom was completely trashed, toilet paper all over the floor and urine on most of the seats, clearly hasn't been cleaned all day. All trash cans in the theater were overflowing, same for the trash cans outside. We saw the movie in 4DX (which is an expensive ticket) and had to deal with loud people showing up 2 hours late waving their phone flashlights around because they couldn't find their seat. Or how about the man with and actual tripod recording the movie and when we complained to security they didn't do anything. We paid over $200 and had the absolute worst experience ever watching a movie here and Regal Atlantic Station should be ashamed of themselves!! read more

This place looks amazing when you walk in. The vibe is modern and fun--definitely a cool spot to catch a movie and grab a drink. The theater itself was clean, the seats were comfy, and the bar area had a nice setup. You can tell they put effort into making the space feel inviting. Unfortunately, the service didn't match the atmosphere. Staff seemed overwhelmed or uninterested, and it took way too long to get drinks and snacks. A little more attention and organization would really take this place to the next level. That said, if you're going with a group or just want a different kind of movie night, it's still worth checking out for the environment alone. Just don't expect top-tier service (yet). So I ended up parking in the parking garage for an event that ended up getting cancelled. To avoid it being a total loss I decided to grab a bite and catch a movie. This was my first experience with this movie theater and it was really nice! There was a slight line but it was moving. It takes a while for the host to get us our popcorn and drinks. Once we received our popcorn, drinks, and candy lo and behold I see a full bar You got a drink Tanya? "And did"! Now we're headed to our theater we decided on Captain America and I don't care what nobody say I like the Red Hulk All I got to say is going to the movies is expensive. Went recently to see the new Jurassic Park movie. My friend and I got snacks. That went smooth and fast. I'm giving three stars because one of our chairs was broken. Thankfully no one was sitting next to us so we could switch the broken seat. Just felt that seat should be blocked off from buying. Went to the bathroom afterwards which also contributed to my three stars. The bathroom I'd give a negative if I could. Majority of the stalls were broken and filthy. I was so taken aback I didn't want to go at all. I knew this theater was here, but never had been. I decided to go to an IMAX premier of Dune: Part Two, and I was blown away by this theater. This place is like a cathedral sized building, and it's super nice. The one staff member I encountered was nice as well. On top of that, the snacks area looked really elaborate, but I didn't actually get any snacks for my viewing experience. From there, all the theaters are super clean and feel luxurious. It was a very comfortable experience, even with a viewing experience that ended up being nearly 3 hours. Definitely recommend seeing something in IMAX here. It was an absolute blast. If you're reading this before it leaves theater, Dune: Part Two is an absolute must-see. Don't miss it. read more

So for all of the renovations that this place has gone through and all of the renovations that at Atlantic Station has gone through I was extremely disappointed. Because this was not my first time at this theater and I remember it being archaic compared to others. But I thought that with the years that had passed it would've changed. It did in ways, they have the updated theaters to be able to offer SFX and 4Dx among other awesome new technological advances... But when I tell you after a two hour movie, the last thing you want to do is be sitting straight erect in a seat that does not recline and is uncomfortable... There are so many other choices that are way more comfortable and way more convenient options. I think I'm spoiled by dine- in theaters for sure. I am not a fan. The location is amazing. The parking lot is huge. Of course you have to park in the deck and walk up to the movie theater. They do validate parking, which is good. But I will pass. They should tell you what time the movie starts so you don't have to sit through all that.. on top of being bombarded by ads, they charge a ridiculous amount of money for popcorn and soda. First offl, when entering the theater, it was freezing and the screen was not showing anything even though it was right at the start time of the movie. Since it was an early screening we thought maybe they just started the heater and it will get warmer. We tried the popcorn and it tasted strange, I don't know if it was the butter and of course it got cold quickly because of the super cold theater. We decided to wait until 20 mins after the movie start time to talk to someone about the movie / previews not showing. Once it was 20 mins after, my fiancé went to go talk to the theater employees. Luckily they started the movie but it was 30 mins after the start time once it started. Also, we asked the employee if they could warm up the theater, which they said wasn't possible. After my fiancé returned, we probably only watched 7 mins of the movie and decided we can't sit through a 3.5 hour long movie (the Brutalist) in this cold theater. We asked the manager for a refund, lucky they found our food purchase and gave us cash for the refund. However, for the movie tickets, we got vouchers only cause the movie had already started. When telling the manager why we wanted to leave, he said they can turn up the heat if we'd like. So, the opposite of what the previous employee had said. We were in theater 17, on a Sunday morning. Usually the concession stands are super long but this morning it was mild. Luckily we didn't have to pay for parking, they have a voucher machine. In summary, corporate for Regal don't care about their customers and will scam you if you're not careful (as I read in other reviews). I'd recommend going to AMC instead. read more

This location has a ton of pros and cons. The pros and cons all depend on what you are looking for. I will be completely honest and as transparent as I can be. I had a free ticket from my last visit. I was able to redeem at the concession stand and the process was pretty quick. This location has a ton of screens and showings. Something good will be showing regardless of when you show up. This location has started showing screenings before noon. I love getting up early to see a 9 AM show. This place can get packed quick. I like the movie theater to be empty when I watch movies. They have 4D theaters here. The parking here is ridiculous. The movie theater is in a large shopping area. There are plenty of parking spots but there is also plenty of cars. The parking is under the mall. You can get lost under there and it can be hard to find parking near the theater. Also, you have to pay for parking. The first 2 hours of parking is free and the movie theater will give you an extra two hours of free parking. I would come to this place often if I lived close. Since this movie theater is in a mall outlet, it is easy to get shopping done and grab some food. read more

Really good movie, i watched Superman in ScreenX. Being my first time ever it was quite amazing. I enjoyed the movie and I will say that the theater was a bit hot so that's a bit of a bummer but I don't think these reviews are valid because most of these people are complaining about the seats not being able to fully recline but I feel like if you want to have the seat fully reclined just stay at home. The seats are able to be reclined yall just wanna lay down which defeats the purpose of watching a movie. Leaving low reviews just because of that is stupid just because there is little to no inconvenience but that is just my opinion other than the ac at the theaters it was worth it I'd also like to add that some people complain about the price when it's only $25 per person for a premium movie experience and you're watching a new movie with a huge screen and comfortable seat and im saying this as a large person it was really comfortable. Love the upgrade of the theatre, but let's start with the ticketing. When you go in there is a person that stands there to scan tickets, but they are not aggressive enough to check tickets. If you purchase tickets on Groupon which is better and cheaper then purchasing there, we paid $50 for 4 tickets. So when you purchase on Groupon you have to go to the concession stand to get those tickets scanned and pick your seats. The staff that work the concession stand also have to work the side concession stand. So they are very short staffed. I noticed people walking in and not paying or getting tickets scanned, TEENAGERS UNACCOMPANIED. So they were running in and out of the movie theatre and were loud. Pricing is very inflated, FAMILY COMBO LARGE POPCORN, 2 DRINKS AND 2 CANDIES $47.99! The lines were long asl, and the company should definitely have a better ticket scanning implementation. I recently went to this theater to check out their 4D movie experience. The movie when saw was Alien Romulus and it felt like a ride in a theme park! The chairs moved along with the action on screen, there was mist sprayed, flashing lights, and more. I will say, your experience depends on the movie. If you have an exciting movie that caters to all senses, then the 4D experience will match. The tickets are about $25 each, so it's something to try at least once. I came here for the bad boys screening. The customer service and organization needs to be improved. We were told that we could go to any line to redeem our popcorn and drink. After standing in line for 15 minutes, next in line, we were told we needed to go to another line to the end which was significantly longer. There were several people in line that never heard any announcements of which line to be in and they had serviced other people in front of me that was there for the screening. This is my go-to movie theater, especially since they renovated a few years ago. Location and Parking Regal Cinemas is located in Atlantic Station. They no longer have a true box office, but you can purchase tickets online or walk up to the kiosks. Parking is validated for 2 hours from ATL Staton, and an additional 2 hours from the movie theater itself. Venue and Atmosphere They have several levels of seating, and recently moved to reserved seating in all theaters. They also have a VIP section with unlimited popcorn, soda, and soft serve ice cream. We usually get the cheapest seats (lol) but I have done the 4Dx when the re-released Harry Potter. It was a fun experience, but I don't need to do it again. Food and Beverages I typically don't patronize the concession stand... if you know, you know. They do have a full bar if that's more your style. Service The staff has been friendly the last few times I've been. Verdict I'll be back when I'm ready to see a movie! read more

I was very disappointed to drive into town and have a wonderful dinner and arrive to the theater on time with plenty of wiggle room. Tickets purchased in advance for 7:20p. Houselights stayed lit until about 7:40, trailers showing on screen with full lighting. Movie did not start until 7:50! That's awful! I imagine this is the norm because of all the other 10 people who had purchased tickets only 2 others of them arrived on time like we did. So now that I'm an Atlanta resident, of course I'm taking the time to enjoy the local theaters! Being a Regal unlimited member, Regal is usually my first choice in a movie theater as it's the primary back in Florida. Regal at Atlantic Station is the closest major Regal near me, so it's now become my main movie spot. With all of the neighboring businesses in Atlantic Station, the plaza makes for a great full day of fun with the option of ending the day with some entertainment on the big screen. Finding parking for a movie showing isn't too difficult thanks to the incredibly large parking garage. What's even better? Regal will validate your parking once you're on the way out of the movie! Once you come up from the parking garage, Regal is not too far away at all. Once you take the ride up the two escalators, you're taken over by the sudden view of the bright foyer and the concession stand lights screaming your name. Concessions at Atlantic Station aren't too out of the norm, from popcorn to pretzels, mozzarella sticks and some heavier bites, you're in for some (yet pricey as expected) options. I will publicly state that I am one of those people who goes ham at the concession stand and I feel for my boyfriends' pockets. I really relate to Emmy award-winning artist and writer, Quinta Brunson, when I say that I'm always very impressed and "oooo, he got money" replays in my mind every time we approach the cash register, lol. Lucky for us, my Regal unlimited subscription gives me 10% off + freebies + I earn thousands of points that = more freebies so, I'm living my best life every time we go lol. I always get the same exact thing - (Small popcorn with extra butter and nachos with 3-4 cups of jalapenos because I eat a jalapeno with every. single. chip. Just odd lol) As an adult who likes themselves a nice drink, I appreciate that movie theaters have taken to offering some stiff drinks to pair up with our movies. Atlantic Station has a great seperate bar that offers wine, beer and multiple cocktails, so I always make a stop to grab a beer to pair with my movie treats. I've only experienced the regular 2D movies so far, but I'm so looking forward to trying out the different technology options that Atlantic Station offers! At one point, I was interested in the VIP experience until I read multiple reviews stating that it could be disappointing, but I'll definitely try it one day soon. My bf saw some action movie in 4DX and was so not loving by how engaging it was, I figure that it's personally right up my alley lol. I want to feel like I'm there!! I think it's incredibly cool that they offer so many different forms of movies here. But my 2DX experiences have been okay. The seating and theaters themselves are a bit underwhelming when compared to how huge the theater is and the obvious touches of renovations. This Regal is so huge and perfectly located, I can only imagine how some upgrades would really put it on another level. I love going to the movies and I frequent this location for events. This time was for a free screening of the movie American Fiction. Lots of cashiers were open at the food counter. I had a popcorn which was good, and I generally dont like movie theatre popcorn. It wasnt too salty or buttery. The theatre was clean. Although they dont have fully reclining seats, the seat backs do push back. Overtime they will sit you back up. The great thing is if you park in the garage, you get an extra 2hours of free parking. Just bring your ticket and as you leave there are machines for you to slide the ticket into to give you a barcode for extra time. read more
