It's a cool little cinema that the students are fortunate to have on their campus in downtown Atlanta. Staff is typically friendly and the theatre is clean. Seats are very comfortable and depending on the theater the seats have a heated option, and all recline. I also like that you can walk around the Madison Yards area for dinner, coffee, shopping, or a sweet treat before or after the movie.

Once our server, Diamond, greeted us, we learned they were dealing with a few operational issues, including a limited food menu, a nonfunctioning call button, and unfortunately, no working AC in the theater. Despite the circumstances, Diamond was excellent. She was attentive, communicative, and kept us informed throughout the movie. Management also handled the situation well, coming into the theater to offer guests a full refund and a pass for another movie. We were also given the option to wait about 20 minutes and move to another auditorium showing the same film. I decided to stay and was still able to order a pepperoni pizza and some candy from the limited menu. The pizza was good, but that ranch deserves its own mention because it was surprisingly delicious. Technical issues happen, and I appreciated how both Diamond and management handled a less than ideal situation. iPic will definitely continue to be my theater of choice, and Diamond's service made a big difference in the overall experience.

For a theater to market itself as a premium experience, the service standards and condition of the theater fell short of expectations. To start, there was no air conditioning in the theater (specifically #6). It made it difficult to relax and enjoy the movie with no air. It would have been helpful to receive correspondence well before showtime about the condition of the theater, but we didn't find out until we arrived. After driving an hour and coordinating childcare, etc. this was a major inconvenience to our evening. The customer service was also seriously lacking. The call lights apparently didn't work so getting assistance was difficult. Also, there is a limited menu. A serious downgrade to what the menu used to be. Another major issue was being required to settle our tab before our food even arrived. That was extremely frustrating and made our entire experience feel rushed and poorly managed. Hopefully management is able to address these concerns and takes them seriously because this is not the level of service IPIC is known for. Otherwise, I don't see this location lasting long.

I will say are a bit squished if you're looking for comfort over style. They were only a few in the theater that I watched my film, and as you'd expect they could recline or have much room to stretch your legs out in. Luckily, this wasn't a necessity for me, but if you'd like to make yourself at home, be warned. The price for a small popcorn was a pretty standard seven dollars. I didn't get to look at the rest of their offering, but it seems they had traditional movie concessions. Overall, love the vibe of this theater and hold definitely be back!

key sunday cinema club is a must-do for film buffs. you buy a seasonal subscription and then every…read moreother sunday head over to midtown arts cinema for a movie. what's pretty sweet about it is that every time the movie is different and you have no idea until you show up what it is going to be. it's always a movie selected by the organization and also never shown in atlanta before. afterwards, matthew bernstein, a film professor at emory, leads a discussion on the film. i always avoided it figuring it would be full of pretentious indie hipsters, but the median age is like 55 and everyone there is just passionate about film. check it out if you love film. i have seen some pretty damn good stuff i never would have seen before....
