The Puddin Palace is a fun enough place to grab a nice sweet treat for a snack or dessert. The ambiance is pleasant enough and the service was friendly and professional. I think it has a pretty cool concept and was a nice enough place. I would definitely recommend the Puddin Palace. read more

OMG! The most smooth and creamy banana pudding I've ever had. And the layers of wafers to pudding to banana slices was perfect. So glad I purchased a few different flavors and not just the original. The strawberry shortcake was absolutely delicious. Nothing was bad. They also server handmade ice cream in the adjoining storefront. Super friendly and helpful service. Definitely a must try read more

The Puddin Palace was a pleasant experience. I was in the mood for banana pudding and wanted to visit their location. Was greeted nicely and the menu was explained as to how it works. I like the concept of either creating your own pudding creation or choosing one of theirs. I ordered the classic banana pudding, which was yummy, and their fruity pebble cupcake, which was good. Definitely enjoyed the treats and will be back! read more

I decided to try The Puddin Palace after hearing good things from several South Jersey locals. The menu offers a wide variety of pudding flavors/combos in offered. Like many dessert spots, there tends to be less flavor availability later in the day as more product sells out. However, the employees are happy to make a fresh version of any sold out flavor as long as the ingredients are on hand. My first visit was around Thanksgiving time after seeing seasonal availability of Sweet Potato Cheesecake. After stopping by to get some, I was a bit bummed that they were only making bulk orders of whole cheesecakes for customers to order ahead. I wish the website had made that information clear. I still picked up a few pudding cups to take home. Since my first visit, I've stopped by a few more times. I've been satisfied with quality and freshness of ingredients every trip. My favorite pudding cups are the Oreo, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, and Banana Chessman flavors. The Oreo Puddin stands out from similar types I've had elsewhere. The components go perfectly together making it decadent without being overly heavy. The brownie layer always tastes fresh and maintains the perfect texture. The Cinnamon Toast Crunch has the perfect ratio of cereal to pudding creating a perfectly balanced flavor. The caramel sauce also adds a great touch. I enjoy the addition of Chessman cookies in the classic Banana Puddin. They maintain their texture without getting as soggy as vanilla wafers by themselves. Overall, I've enjoyed what I've tried at The Puddin Palace. I do think $10 price per cup is a bit pricey, even for a small business. It's not somewhere I go very regularly, but I think The Puddin Palace has unique offerings compared to other dessert spots in the South Jersey area. read more

Stopped in with my little one on Saturday and MJ was so wonderful! He got a milkshake was so excited to see the process. MJ explained to him how the blades of the blender worked to create a milkshake. I got a banana pudding to go and it was delicious!! My son was completely silent sucking down his milkshake...and you know what that means! He loved it and I tasted it and it was the best milkshake I've ever had! Will definitely be back. read more

I arrived at the store and upon entering was greeted by staff. Friendly staff and answered all our questions. I chose banana pudding and my daughter chose strawberry shortcake. The presentation is awesome. Layered in a plastic cup with a lid. We were given spoons. Next door they a newly opened water icee. The pudding is delicious and thick and portion is generous for $10 a cup. read more

Really yummy treat! We had the Oreo and strawberry shortcake cups and they were both delicious and decadent. The staff were friendly and welcoming and even gave us a tip to get a half tray for 2 dollars more than 2 cups. Nice! Can't wait to go back! read more

I don't have a picture of the original product because I'd eaten it prior to reaching the car where I took the picture attached to this review. The pudding was tasty. I wasn't expecting the price, but I still wanted it. I will try another flavor eventually. read more

I love this place! I love the concept of a pudding bar (make your own pudding). There are options to make your own pudding with their pudding base, toppings, etc. Or you can order one of their many pre-designed pudding cups. All pudding is made fresh to order too. We got the strawberry lemon pudding. It's so good. It was strawberry pudding layered on lemon pound cake with strawberry crumbles on top. So rich! The interior was so pretty, literally felt like a pudding palace (many cute pudding photo op moments). There's indoor seating and outdoor seating. The owner was so sweet and nice!! She actually owns both The Puddin' Palace (puddings and fried desserts) and The Yummies Palace (milkshakes and homemade water ice). You bet we tried both places. They were right next to each other. She mentioned that she does delivery too so even if you can't make it to NJ, make sure to give them a call to see if she delivers to your area!! read more

After seeing The Puddin Palace all over Instagram I decided I wanted to give them a try. A few notes on my experience... - The Pudding in DELICIOUS. I had the banana pudding and the triple chocolate, they were both delicious. I will be back! - There are a variety of pre-made pudding options, but you can also create your own. - In addition to pudding they sell milk shakes, cake, cupcakes, chocolate covered strawberries, fired Oreos, and other delicious deserts. - Street parking is located right out front. - There's a selfie wall outside to snap a photo with your delicious desert. - There is seating inside, but they're also happy to pack your order to go. After enjoying my first time here so much, I decided to order some of their individual size puddings for an upcoming party. read more

When things go slightly left and you have an adult conversation... you expect the owner to keep her word, and issue the promised refund. The orders coordinator didn't verify my order (store policy), although I visited the store 2 times prior to my event. Because of the error, I was up till 2am fixing the problem (event on Sun). How does the owner not keep her word? Nearly a week later, after multiple messages, and $cashapp refund request, I've been ignored. Be very careful with orders, make sure you speak to an adult for verification read more

Let me start with how enticing the menu looks and how many options they have! The staff was super friendly, patient and helpful for our first time here. I got the birthday cake pudding which was AMAZING! I also got the Cinnamon Toast Crunch pudding which was tasty too! I will definitely be back. Friendly staff and delicious puddings! She also made the pudding as soon as we ordered so it wasn't just sitting there. Great service! read more

My boyfriend and I were craving something sweet so we went on google during our ride home back from visiting family as so happy we did! I never have been to a pudding place and I don't regret it at all! I got the apple egg rolls and he got the cinnamon toast pudding bowl....I hope you consider opening one up by us in Ocean County! The service was friendly and definitely worth the shot! The inside was cozy and clean. Next time we are out that way we will be stopping inside! read more

The puddin palace is a must try! We tried strawberry shortcake, banana, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, and Oreo (I think, I ordered triple chocolate but I think there was a miscommunication because I got the pudding that fits their Oreo flavor description) and we also got their apple pie egg rolls. Everything was amazing and the staff are so friendly! I will definitely be back! read more

Yummy food! I really like the banana bread pudding. The Place was clean and staff was nice

Good idea...but you ain't ready. I place my order online 1 hour before pick up. So I get there and am told the internet connection is not running but they can pull my order. Ok, cool. Next I'm told they don't have half of the things I ordered. What??? To be fair, I was offered alternatives. Ok, cool. Let's work it out - give me a slice of strawberry shortcake instead of the strawberry cheesecake. Next, I'm told they are out of the apple pie egg Rolls and I would have to wait for the fried Oreos because they didn't turn on the fryers. Huh?? Ask for an Oreo pudding to replace the fried Oreos which I received. Grab my bag and head back to work. Only problem is the cake is not in the bag. So I call and request a refund. I'm told I would receive this from the owner through Cashap. Welp, still waiting. I'm going to chalk this up as a loss because it's only $7.00. The pudding? It's ok. I guess the toppings are what make it special. Good luck in your business but myself and my coworkers are good. Do better!! read more

If you're ever in the area, I highly recommend stopping by here for a treat or dessert! They have great pudding and cupcake options. There's many different flavors and it seems like they try to introduce new flavors pretty often! We've also purchased from them through Too Good To Go, and they always give us great variety of options through that too! read more
