We got here kind of late, so we were directed to sit in the backroom pub area. That was fine, as they had lots of room and plenty of tv's to watch the football game. We were greeted by our server in a timely manner. I got the smothered chicken dinner. It came with the salad bar and a side. The salad bar was ok, but the bowl of lettuce wasn't very fresh. The other ingredients and salads were good. My chicken was moist and tender with melted Swiss cheese and large pieces of peppers and onions. The green beans tasted like they were unsalted beans out of a can and weren't very hot. My husband got the Thursday special of ribeye steak and eggs. The eggs were cooked just how he liked them and the steak was tasty. He also enjoyed the complimentary peanuts in the shell that were on our table. As another reviewer said, 'run don't walk' here. It was a real treat after 7+ hour drive from Kansas City. I had the grilled Catfish, included side sweet potato fries and salad bar, total $9 or so. Passing through Guymon for the night and this place had good reviews so we ended up here for dinner. Staff wasn't weren't all that friendly unfortunately but served us quickly which was nice. We stopped in for the weekend (from out-of-state) and ended up coming in twice! The food, atmosphere, and service were amazing! "Dakota" helped us our first night and made great suggestions, was an incredible server and so accommodating! Maddie helped us out second visit and was also helpful, quick, and knowledgeable. We appreciated the large menu, various options, excellent service, and home-town feel. We will definitely be back next time we are in Guymon! read more

On the way home from a Black Mesa hiking trip, we stopped here for lunch. This place has got to be the cutest restaurant in town. I'm not sure what the building was repurposed from but so cute! It was kinda country and kinda industrial. The ceilings were y'all and half round wood! Very chill and nicely decorated. We sat at the bar because they were changing from lunch. It took forever to get service but our waiter was nice and friendly. We got our drinks and waited for our food. I enjoyed a really nice salad from their salad bar. And then we waited. Like forever. After several after us got there food, I asked the bartender about our food. Apparently the server left and who knows how long our food was sitting there. The chicken was cold and ok tasting. The veggies looked like they came frozen in a bag. My bf's burger looked good though. I'd definitely try again if we lived closer. read more

Great sports bar in a repurposed auto dealer building. One of my go- to spots when here on business or traveling through. Fun laid back vibe & the food is always good. Went there on Wings Wednesday (April 19, 2023) and ordered Wings only to have them be uneatable. Never even warmed them up--they tasted like they were straight out of the frozen bag. Wait staff told us they had a lot of complaints about the wings. No "sorry..." and no adjustment to the ticket. If they knew the kitchen was not trained on how to warm up food then perhaps they should rethink being in business. Nevertheless I took them with us and rinsed off the BBQ sauce only to see the rawness. Warmed them up in a microwave and fed them to the dog. At least he had a good meal. read more

I fully recommend the hangover burger for those who love a fried egg on a burger. The $5 lunch specials on the weekdays are a great value. Since I work directly across the street, this is always a top of the list option for an affordable and filling meal. Thursday is cheeseburger day, and totally worth the stop. We were passing through town after a visit to Kansas and decided to stop here. The service was great, especially for the middle of the afternoon on a weekday. My son was given the wrong sandwich and they had the correct one out to him in just over 5 minutes piping hot. We Stopped by here on the way through town for dinner on a Saturday night. My BF and I shared the pick 3 appetizer sampler (we had texas toothpicks, wings, and chili bites) and then we shared the Jalapeño Mikes Chicken as our main course with a side of rice. The place itself is actually very well decorated and has a very warm feeling to it. Our waitress at the bar was very friendly and open to sharing her opinion of the menu with us. She was very attentive and the overall service was truly a 5 star experience. The appetizer trio was HUGE and probably would have been a complete meal for the two of us. The wings were above average in flavor and below average in size. Very good taste and were cooked perfectly. The texas toothpicks which are a mix of battered and fried onions and jalapeños were very good. Enough batter for flavor but not so much that it took away from the flavor of the food itself. The chili bites were also very good, and cooked perfectly. The appetizer was a 4.5 star dish. After the appetizer we were pretty excited for our dinner. The Jalapeño Mikes Chicken arrived shortly after finishing the appetizer which was great timing. This dish was not as good of an experience as the appetizer. The dish basically was a few (and I mean very few, small chunks) pieces of grilled chicken chunks covered with slices of jalapeños (Unbreaded) that had been grilled with the chicken. There were about 5-6x as many jalapeños as there were chicken chunks. The jalapeños completely overpowered the chicken. The chicken was very scarce - I'd estimate 3oz at the most. The dish also came with rice as a side which was slightly overlooked and mushy. The dinner roll was very good and came with a nice sweet butter spread. Overall I'd rate the main dish as a 2.5-3 star. I'm hoping we just chose a bad menu item for the main dish because this place really rocked the service, atmosphere and appetizer. If ever in Guymon again, I'd stop by for dinner and a drink. read more

Way over priced items, food portions are small, pizza tastes like it is boxed and just heated. Not impressed at all. Oh, the owner of this also owns 3 other businesses in Guymon and very snotty. There was no signs posted saying no parking but the manager and wife came out chewing out the person that Parked there and that is uncalled for! I turned around and left. And I have recruited some other people that will never come back to this "chain" because of how they treat the customers. My mother and I walked in and was immediately told to sit in the back side of the restaurant and that wasn't a problem with us at all. We walked back there and there was a young girl maybe in college and she was rushing helping each table and the seemed-to-be open tables were piled high with dishes. We were okay with it and just sat in a table and waited for them to come pick it up. Later the young waitress came and asked who sent us back here and we told her who it was and she walked away and came back 5 minutes later and the lady with short blond hair followed behind her. The young girl said was it her I said yes she then said "she did not tell you guys to come sit back here." My mother and I looked at one another confused because she clearly did so we got up and went back where we first entered. The short haired lady gave us a very ugly attitude and seemed to put the fault on us for even coming in the first place and then proceeded to talk bad about the young girl she said "I thought that girl would of had that place cleaned up by now!" We had no comment and she took our order and brought our drinks and food and didn't talk to us the rest of the time. But she did sure check up on the other tables around us. Terrible customer service! Yeah obviously the "General" manager Kristal and Michael do their best to delete bad reviews which believe me there is a lot of. On Facebook you give a bad review and they'll block you and erase it and Kristal makes time to reply and always says it's the "customers" fault. In fact you can no longer leave reviews on Facebook. Her employees are always right and because of that mentality the staff here make it their job to make you look like the bad customer and they run to her and him and tell them that you had an "attitude" she or he then come out and don't fix anything at all. They'll say the typical "you can leave" "there are several other restaurants in town" I've heard this multiple times. They talk to people who go here with their families. She'll create the ruckus there believe me. Why not leave the bad reviews so future customers don't go in there. Basically the concept at this restaurant is "eat what we serve and how we serve it or pay and leave the premises if you don't like something" and the other is "we didn't over charge you that's what you ordered now pay and leave" and they'll say it just like that in front of your family kids they don't care. Just the other day I was in for lunch and I heard a customer ask if they could please have a different batch of fries because that customer was allergic to fish and the fries were fried w/oil where previously fish was fried, I clearly heard that because the waiter went back, asked the cook and confirmed that it was true. Kristal comes out "what's the problem here" and started talking to the family like they were kids. She said multiple times "look me in the eyes don't be looking away" then Kristal says I'm done with this you can leave now taps the customer in the back and walks away. read more

I don't know how to start this but I'll begin by saying I've tried this place 3 times to give it a fair chance. All 3 of my visits were disastrous to say the least. My first visit I ordered a ribeye steak. It was tough and full hard to cut tendons. The service was atrocious. I could add a lot more here but I'll keep this short. Second visit was not any better as food goes but the young lady that served me was slightly better than the first visit. I ordered a philly steak sandwich. The sandwich was soaking with oil. So much oil I couldn't taste anything but oil. The french fries were no better. I was only able to eat a very small portion of one half of the sandwich. Waitress offered something else but didn't remove the sandwich from the bill. My third and final visit to this place I ordered a basic hamburger. The patty is tiny, way over cooked and tasteless. Fries were still tasteless and skimpy. And still no break on the check when it came. I'm sure the people cooking the food here don't eat the food. The only reason I'll go back to this place is for the Modelo negra they have on draft. Nothing more. If you're looking for s place to just drink this isn't bad if you can handle the fuckin sports theme. But do not go for the food. It truly is disgusting. read more
