You start with the relish bowl and fresh rolls--always loved the relish tray of carrots, radishes, celery and broccoli. Just the way to start. Get the onion rings as an appetizer. Crunchy and tasty. Knock down a couple of Old fashions from the bar, good pours at ridiculously reasonable prices. Salads generous and as fresh you can expect at a little panhandle town. Eddie's was recommended by our Airbnb host. Guymon is a rural drive by town. Construction makes it a challenge to access most businesses but glad we made a stop at Eddie's. This is a traditional supper club! The exterior has a very cool retro facade. Interior is dark- true speakeasy style. Kim and the crew are so nice and welcoming. Enjoyed the veggie crudités bowl and the perfect dirty martini I had a filet, loaded baked potato and sautéed mushrooms. Delicious! A fun way to spend an evening and step back in time. The help is excellent . The menu so so. Pricing better than the casino. Ambiance better than the casino . The casino calls theirs fine dining and it feels like a college cafeteria with a $30 dollar meatloaf plate. Drinks are good and they know how to make an old fashion with an ice cube. If you like stepping back in time to when the cozy dark dining room was the rage, this place is it! No commercial chain here. Just locally owned for 50 yrs. I sat at the bar and had the 16oz ribeye with baked potato and mushrooms and the dinner was amazing. Kim, the manager and bartender for the night, had me my next drink before I had to ask. She knows how a restaurant and bar is supposed to operate. If you are ever in Guymon, do not miss this place. read more

The food was excellent. I got the filet. It was so tender and tasty!! I added 6 fried shrimp to my steak order and those hand down were the best shrimp I have ever had and I'm from the coast where the seafood is phenomenal!!! The service was great. It was comfortable and the lighting seems to be an issue for some peoples reviews but it was appropriate. The fried mushrooms were the size of a baseball and excellent!!!! The baked potato was really good. They were not stingy with the "loaded" parts of the baked potato. Tea was great. I am very hard to impress on good food as my husband loves to cook and cooks extremely well. But this restaurant is hands down worth the visit. Three of us ate, had appetizer and all had steaks. The bill was only $127. All around I give them a 5 Star rating!!! read more

Really good service. I've been traveling all day and I look like crud and no matter crazy I look they didn't treat me any different. They are very kind and the FOOD is soooo delicious . The steak is sooo tender. The salmon has rosemary on it and very unique in flavor from what I'm used too. The atmosphere is very calming and I love that it's dark and gives a romantic feel to it. Was in town for a night and saw the ratings and gave Eddie's a try. There was a party of about 30 for a 50th Anniversary but the service was still great. The servers were hustling and the food was pretty good. I had prime rib my wife had a filet. Cooked perfectly medium. And the water glasses stayed full and the Pinot was good. It's a dated venue but that makes it kinda cool. Would eat there again for sure. read more

Sat in parking lot because it doesn't look like a Steakhouse. I was wrong, it's a great Steakhouse. Instead of bread when you sit, they bring fresh veggies (broccoli, carrots. celery and green onions) with ranch. it was a very pleasant surprise. The Fried mushrooms are HUGE. The Ribeye was one of the best I've had. The phrase "Melt in your mouth" is an understatement. Halibut was fresh. Fried Okra side dish is great and you get enough for 2-3 people. We recently moved back to Stratford, TX. My dad was headed back to Guthrie, OK one night and wanted a steak. So my step mom found Eddie's on Yelp. The first thing after sitting down that I thought was an amazing idea and had never seen anywhere else. They bring you out veggies to snack on while looking at the menu. It had carrots, celery, radishes, and green onions. Our kids devoured the carrots and celery. Lol. Most of us got Ribeyes. A few added shrimp. They were all spot on the way we ordered them. Great flavor and the shrimp weren't the small ones you get some places. We all had leftovers for lunch the next day. My step mom got a Filet Mignon and she was in love! One of the kids got chicken strips and mozzarella strips and they didn't skimp on amy of it. We will definitely be making the trip to Eddie's again for steaks and Date Nights! read more

The service was everything you would expect from small town Oklahoma, friendly with a smile. The decor was very 60's with rock walls, low light, etc. It would probably be served well with an update when resources allow. I dont like eating in the dark so it was a little off for me from the start. I had a steak and potato, pretty basic. It was cooked exact to order and would have been a 5 had I had them hold the steak juice. There was just too much and it was too salty for me. Unassuming on the outside but don't let that fool you. The servers are friendly and helpful. The food is terrific! We ate there an hour ago. First, a wonderful thing: They brought over (without our asking) a bowl of fresh, crunchy veggies (broccoli, radish, scallion, celery, carrot) and fresh Ranch dressing. Much better than a bread basket (although they bought one of those with dinner). I had a Caesar salad. Fresh & crisp. My husband had a salad, halibut and a baked potato. He let me have some of the fish and potato. It was the best-baked baked potato I've had at a restaurant in a very long time. The halibut was tasty and not over-cooked. It was also the best tartar sauce I've had lately. The food was fresh, hot and tasty. I'd go back there in a heartbeat. Too bad we're just passing through. read more
