This is a cafe in a small town elkhart. We are in the process of moving. It has its own parking lots- dirt parking lot. We were attended to immediately. We ordered to go because we were travelling with animals. The servers were fantastic and friendly. I ordered a turkey croissant and Hubby ordered bacon cheeseburger. We were told to wait approximately 15 minutes for it. It came out in about 10 minutes The food was unbelievably yummy. Mine was a turkey croissant with cheese, turkey slices, lettuce, a slice of tomato, slices of avocado and bacon on it. It was fresh and yummy. It came with fries that were not salted. And I love them for this. Hubby got a bacon cheese burger. We sat in the parking lot and ate it all there. I love it!!!! read more

Driving through Kansas, we can't wait to get to Big C's for lunch. The people are so friendly, the food is tasty and ample portions, and the prices are unbelievably affordable. We enjoyed the Saturday Smash Burger special with sweet potato fries. So good! Their chicken salad has a ton of sliced chicken on top - a real value. Oct '24 Passing through on the way to Albuquerque, the staff was very kind and the food was delicious. I had a burger and fries and loved the burger, fries were ok, could be little crispier. Bf had the special, the steak sandwich, he reports a satisfactory meal. But we really enjoyed the chocolate cream pie. Also, very random, but the ice: small pebble, sooo good for crunching I wish I would have taken interior photos, open area w few open booths and plenty of tables. read more

Really great service, and a charming restaurant. There are it many restaurants in Elkhart but this place proved to have a diverse range of menu items that can suit anyone's needs. They also offer a breakfast special each day (I.e., waffle, blueberry pancake,etc.) and always have dessert (pie) on hand. Enjoyed the meals, particularly the breakfast I had here. read more

Our server, Aubrey, was great. However, she didn't tell us when things she offered cost extra like the sourdough toast or a smaller version of biscuit & gravy instead of toast. The food was a good portion but lacked flavor(small scramble). The DP special was enjoyed by my husband. The flys were horrible, but the place was clean and tidy. read more

Food is amazing just some times the service is a little slow but they do their best to take care of everyone in a timely matter.

The food was great! We had the rueben and a turkey club. They both were delicious and big! The waitress was prompt, helpful and pleasant, even sending us out with 2 huge iced teas to go. The building and bathroom, were clean and spacious. We will definitely be back! read more

Great comfort food. Affordable prices and friendly wait staff. The popcorn chicken and burgers are delicious.

We came in at 20 minutes to 2. They close at 2. We had a party of about 12. They were wonderful! Never turned us away. My husband and I had their bacon cheeseburger and fries. They were huge! My sister had a patty melt and couldn't hardly eat it all. Their fries are fresh cut and delicious. The rest of my family enjoyed their lunch too. It will definitely be a place we will eat at when we are in the area!! Thank you to the staff for letting us visit for as long as we wanted. Literally the only place to eat in Elkhart besides Pizza Hut. Nothing to rant about, just a standard little town dinner. Be ware out of towers everyone will mean mug you when you walk in. read more

There are few options for restaurants in this area and the sandwich shop and grandmas are closed. This is a good option to Pizza Hut. We stopped here for lunch and we're pleased with the service and the food. We had sandwiches and homemade crispy fries. read more

Not pleased with this place at all!! Walking in the door, the whole place smelled strongly of bad body odor.. The portions are great if your a 3 year old. A for effort though, staff was very nice. Just food was not great and the plate arrangement looked like a kid threw some food on it. read more

Big C's is now on Hwy 56, not Morton Ave. Pretty popular place for lunch. Decent menu, had the Bacon Cheeseburger. Tasty.
