Stopped here on a tour. Loved the pour your own beer taps concept. Fun, lively and just a cool place to hang and take in Berlin at its best.

The place remained EMPTY for the evening while they insisted on an oddly strict reservation-only approach. We were forced to sit at the bar and watch +8 empty tables stay empty with no reservation coming through for the whole hour we were there... very poor attitude for a pub. I would not recommend. We walked in around 7:00 or 7:30 PM on a Wednesday night. The place is virtually empty. They ask if we have a reservation. We don't. They chat back and forth unintelligibly and tell us we can sit at a table with the only other two customers in the place. No thank you. See ya! read more

This is a nice bar, with a very cool terrasse (I have to state that I am the kind of person who can be bribed by candles) and blankets to keep you warm when the Berliner weather is against you. Also, for the non-beer-loving people out there, you have to try the grapefruit beer that have - just enough sugar and acidity to make it perfect, although this was definitely not my boyfriend's opinion (beer lover. Duh.) But beware! This is NOTHING like a Berlin-style bar! First, tourists and expats EVERYWHERE. Second, prices - hey guys, this isn't NYC, a pint that costs more than €3.50 is called a robbery here. Third, draft beers are, like, non-existent. This place is just a minute walk away from Alexanderplatz. Best days to go there are Tuesday's and Wednesday's when Champions League games are being shown. They have two big walls and two smaller screens. Wherever you sit, you'll have almost everywhere a perfect view. The special thing here is that you can tap beer yourself on your table. Everyone gets a number assigned so you can always keep track of how much you drank yet. Be aware, to tap your own beer is more difficult than it sounds. But after some practice it will work. Additional drinks and food can be ordered via the little screen on top of the table's tap. The Burgers are really big and yummy. But cost also 10 Euro or more. In general, prices are rather high here considering we are in Berlin. Service is very friendly and doesn't get upset if you dare to split the bill at the end and pay all separately. Overall a great place to watch a football game with your friends. Good beer, good burgers, a bit too pricey. Be sure to book a table. read more

Sports pub that has beers on tap on the tables if you want to pour it yourself. Seeing as it a chain, it was quite expensive and equivalently touristy. The burgers (hamburger and hangover) were nothing spectacular. It's not bad, I just probably wouldn't come back again since there are so many places around to try. read more

Large portions. Kind of expensive. My burger and fries was 12.50 then 6.50 more in fees for using the table tap and having what amounted to 1 full beer. Food is I would say good tasting. Nothing amazing. You order everything via an order system at your table. read more

Really nice place with the own taps, the food was good. It's a bit noisy since the acoustic in the rooms makes voices travel, but overall a nice design. There's lots of awesome pictures of pugs everywhere! It's a bit hard to manage the taps and the instructions were poor. It also gets pricey fast, which I'm convinced is a part of the business strategy. We ordered two burgers with sweet potato fries and some garlic bread. The hamburgers and fries was really good, while the garlic bread was bad - not warm at all and felt a bit stale. But overall a good experience! read more

On my way to a different bar (see reviews), I made sure to stop at The Pub because of the Yelp reviews. It was exactly what Yelpers said: a good bar, with serve-yourself, computerized taps, communal seating, and a really good crowd. I didn't have any food so I can't comment on the hamburger. But from being nosy, I saw the people around me had what looked like pretty tasty things to eat. If I go back to Berlin, I'll stop in again. read more

This is the best burger I have ever had. Hands down. Restaurant is pug themed and they have beer taps at the table to pour your own. Beer is a little expensive though. We came to this restaurant without a reservation. ONE customer was at the bar and all the other tables were EMPTY. We were told in a very unpleasant tone that we should have made a reservation; and, that if we wanted a table we would have to sit at a table with complete strangers (they had came in at the same time as us) even though the place was completely empty! Very good place, the burger was very good and the peer was also great. It really is cool to have your own tap. The only unfortunate is that the beer is somewhat pricy, it can get easy for your tab to get expensive. Another cool thing is the competition between tables, the tv keeps a score of the top tables in the bar by liters of beer! read more

The staff is welcoming and. We came early on a Sunday night and found places but it got crowded around 8pm. Great concept- Pour it yourself beer (just one kind). Their main dishes are burgers- we tried the Mexican one and it was juicy and tasty! I would definitely come here again. read more

Nobody pays attention, the waitress never came to us. Not even a hello. The service is miserable... We were really surprised to have this service after reading the other reviews.. We did not even get our food. After 30 min, we asked the waitress when it would come, and she told us to wait 30mn, so we left. Never come here. read more
