I finally checked off the ice bar on my bucket list! It's cold, -10C (14F) inside. The glasses are made of ice. There are ice sculptures and an ice chair inside. The bar is dripping of frozen icicles. The admission ticket provides a drink at the water bar before the experience. Then you have up to 20 minutes at the cold bar (if you dare stay that long...majority do not) where you get two drinks. You watch a video first, but they didn't tell our group so many walked right into the cold bar in short sleeves without a coat! The guide scolded them nicely and they ce back to get the coats they provide and watch the introductory video. I wore a winter coat and was encouraged to wear their coat as a second layer! I enjoyed a ice cold Heinekin (literally) and a shot of a mint liquor. TIP: you only get one ice glass, so don't order a shot first if you want a beer too. Order the other way around or else you will get a small pour of beer in your shot glass. While not a cultural experience, it is a fun experience. read more

Everything about this place was top notch. To start you got these cute passport books for 3 drinks and then you were able to get your first drink before going into the ice bar. Then they brought you into the bar and explain the story behind it. I loved that they had an entire story and theme behind the bar. Only recommendation would be to include a free photo to take home as a memory instead of needing to buy one. read more

Guys, its a bar in a freezer. There are ice sculptures and ice chairs that will give your @$$ frostbite. You only get a limited time in the freezer but can hang out at the bar upstairs longer if you want more. Website recommends you order tickets ahead of time. We were able to buy walk-in tickets but we did go right when it opened and on a weekday. I imagine this place may get more traffic later in the evening or weekend due to tourism etc. Ticket gets you 3 drinks. In the freezer you only get 1 glass so if you want a beer and a shot, get a beer first then the shot bc a beer wont fit in a shot glass. Its a fun experience. While visiting Berlin, I knew I had to go to Icebar. Upon arrival, my SO and I quickly checked in and everything was explained to us by one of the staff members. You get a passport booklet that the staff stamps on every time you receive a drink. We sat at the main bar to receive our first of three drinks while we waited for the bell to ring, indicating when it is time to freeze. I ordered a mojito, which was fabulous and a great contrast to the incredibly cold temperature I was about to be in. Once the bell went off, we made our way to a small area that provided jackets and gloves before entering the icy room. The room itself had fun ice sculptures for photo ops, although it's dimly lit, and you can't get the best photos. They have a regular-sized glass and a shot glass you can choose only one size for your two remaining drinks. I quite liked the staff in the main bar area, but one of the staff members inside the ice bar itself was too busy chitchatting with every customer instead of getting drinks poured. The other bartender was great and got drinks out quickly, having an understanding that you'll only be in there for a limited time. Overall, this was a fun, unique experience, but if you're looking for something extraordinary, you should chill somewhere else. read more

What a wonderful experience it was! We purchased the tickets online as we were told the line might be long. Line was not long at all but the place was packed. The ticket includes 3 drinks. The first one in the bar to get you started. The other two will be in the icebar. They provided gloves. Hat and a coat. You need them. The place gets freakin cold after a drink. Cool experience- you arrive and have a drink in the main bar, and then you go into a ship for a short educational session before entering the ice bar. At this point, they provide jackets & gloves. After this you go into the ice bar. The bar is extremely cold, obviously! Hence, you can only stay in for a limited amount of time. While in the ice bar, there is hip music and lots of opportunities for photos. You are served two drinks inside the ice bar in a frozen glass. Restrooms outside of the ice bar were clean. Out of all the many, many IceBars I've been to, this one was, by far, the worst. The Ice bar was not even that cold and fluorescent lighting made it super unpleasant to hang in. Staff doing the presentation had zero heart in it. They were supposed to offer photos and didn't. Staff obvs hate their customers. We on Sat night 10/21 around 9pm. The Dungeon Tour next door was the same price but worth 20 x ice bar walkthroughs. read more
