I love this place! I…read morewas in Denver for a conference, and every night someone said: Let's go to Rhein Haus. It took us all week to get here because of other commitments. That was a huge error because all of the other commitments couldn't add up to the experience here. Rhein Haus is an authentic German restaurant. It has an excellent beer section, great food, and looks like it has fun games. The staff was super friendly, and we had a great time. We started with some beers, a sausage sampler, and a giant pretzel. Get this, and you will be treated to some excellent food. But the entree was even better. I opted for the Jagerschnitzel with beef goolash, braised cabbage, and warm potato salad. I have no idea how goolash is made, but it was incredible. The flavor was so rich, and I pictured how great it would have been on a cold Denver night. Unfortunately for me, it was like 80 degrees outside. The schnitzel was equally wonderful, but that warm potato salad was even better. My goodness, it was delicious. Is it wrong that I am thinking of flying back in just to come visit here? That is how great it was to me.

We have been regular and huge supporters of this establishment for years, especially being fellow LGBTQ members of the community supporting the LGBTQ owners of this establishment. We simply came to Rhein Haus tonite to continue our holiday celebration, and we had a large group. We were a large group so one set went to the bar, the other group were sent to a table adjacent to the bar. The bar group was served immediately, but the table group was not not being served. I addressed this issue with a manager, and he proceeded to kick me out of the bar. I am simply looking to take care of our friends fairly, and this manager felt I was being unfair. I welcome conversation as this was a terrible experience for our group. I felt completely disrespected by the person that kicked me out, and felt he was completely out of line. Tony

Loved listening to the bands, and exploring the huge space. They have olllllld school pinball game, giant jenga, gigantic cornhole, trash can sized beer pong, and ladder ball (normal size). They also have an original Nintendo with Mario. Seating a little tricky, be careful sitting on the benches, they move in odd ways. But loved the tables and chairs upstairs with the perfect view of the stage! Service was my only complaint- I think the first guy at the bar was having a hard time because they were so busy. I waited at the bar for a while without being acknowledged, then by the time he did finally notice me he just held up a finger. Finally a chick came over and took my order, but it took a while. She was perfectly nice, however, and it wouldn't stop me from returning or recommending them. The helles was a decent German beer with a good depth of flavor- I would come back and try their other beers for sure. Highly highly recommend and will absolutely be back for other events! Bring back emo night please!

They had a section with some large games like beer, pong and cornhole as well as a separate side that had a stage. The upstairs location had some tables and a ton of plants. You could overlook everything from the upstairs. The night was fun, but the place seemed dead for the most part. Kind of surprising for a nice weekend night. There is also a loud rowdy group that was kind of monopolizing all of the large games so we didn't get a chance to play those. Beer was decent although they do add a 20% charge. Might come back in the summer when the weather gets nicer.

Tucked inside the Free Market alleyway at Dairy Block, this smaller satellite location delivers big on atmosphere. The tap list is thoughtfully curated, and the real standout is the space itself. The seating areas feel intentionally designed, cozy, and creative ~ and they rotate the layout every couple of months, which keeps things feeling fresh. When I stopped by, the main room was set up with comfy couches, lounge chairs, and bean-bag-style seating that practically invites you to settle in. I got so relaxed I ended up hanging out for several hours without even realizing it. It's the kind of place where time disappears in the best way. Shoutout to Joy, the beertender working that day ~ she was fantastic. Super knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely helpful when talking through the beers. Great service without being overbearing, which always elevates the experience. If you're looking for a spot downtown that feels laid-back, stylish, and thoughtfully curated, this taproom absolutely delivers. I don't get downtown as often as I should, but this place is officially on my "come here more often" list. Love this new taproom ~100% my vibe!!!

Ordering was electronic, everything came out incredibly fast, and most importantly, the food and drinks were delicious. I also really appreciated the family-friendly and pet-friendly environment. My daughter has dogs, and I'm allergic, so when I visit her in Colorado I don't get to spend time at her house. But at the same time, I feel bad if we're out all day/night and her dogs are left home alone. Finding places that are dog-friendly (but outdoors) where I can keep a comfortable distance from pet hair and dander is the perfect compromise for us. Each visit, we're always on the lookout for places like this, and I'm so glad we finally tried Denver Beer Co. It checked all the boxes and made our time together that much more enjoyable... and the dogs loved all of the pets they got from the other customers! We'll definitely be back on future visits.

We had the Taylor ham, egg, and cheese, the sloppy gnome, the patty melt, eggplant parm, the Cuban, and great fries. We shared, and everyone was thrilled with the flavors and textures. I was so happy my friends enjoyed Jersey food as much as I do! We all loved the atmosphere, and the seating is plentiful inside and out. The parking is wonderful since they have their own lot! I have to add that we asked to speak to the owner, Ken. We were told he is not really a talker. To our surprise, Ken came over and was terrific! He told us the story of his dad starting at 4 am every day to begin the prep for the Taylor ham, egg, and cheese sandwiches for all the Jersey trades workers and other patrons. This is a strong part of the NJ culture. Ken told us the story of how he got connected to gnomes (ask him to see the tats). Ken shared his favorite Jersey food and how he got to Colorado. Great stories that should be on the website! Ken also spoke extremely highly of the brew master. Since I am not a beer drinker, I have no recommendations. This is a fun place to visit! We drove 40 minutes to get there, and we all want to return soon. Thanks, Ken and your talented staff!

I would strongly recommend people to stay away from the food they serve here unless maybe you are…read morewanting a cold sandwich and I am told they have good beer. They simply Do Not care about general food safety getting a hot meal here is rather risky I will explain why. My friend was a cook here for a short while and quit on them once he realized they care nothing about serving food that is safe to eat, he saw them do sooo many things that would easily make the food contaminated and unsafe to eat and somehow that was there process of doing things. Here are a couple examples of menu items one should try to steer clear of Chicken parm sandwich- they cook off a large batch of the chicken cutlets and let them sit at room temp for a hour or two until someone orders one they refries them for a minute or so, your supposed to keep food hot once it is cooked especially chicken to leave cooked chicken at room temp for so long is extremely risky to the public's health. Meatball sandwich- they leave there meatballs on the hot line all day then they save all of the hot food items from the day and reuse them the next day without properly cooling any of the food and the cooks will leave these item sit out at room temp for about 45 mins before even putting them into the cooler. Many issues with this practice first of all hot food should be discarded after 5 hours according to the health department because after 5 hours it will start growing bacteria, to leave it on a hot line all day then save them for the next day and not even cool them down properly is Crazy risky to people's health and they do not just do this with the meatballs they do it for many of there hot dishes they are used for days on in, not properly cooled and not properly tracked for how many times it has been reheated and such me they keep them in the same pans it's flat out gross. Other issues my friend encountered there was never seeing anyone at all wash there hands at any point in time, a ancient dishwashing machine that didn't clean anything at all it didn't even get hot so half of there dishes are greasy and have food residue on them, in his short time there he saw people fired for no reason what's so ever from what he was told the owner fires people left and right and doesn't even give reasons as to why, that's why they have ads up on indeed looking for employees 24/7.
