Almond Crunch Pretzel
Ellie R.

Hot pretzels coming out quickly from a cute food cart! While everything's made after you place your order, I'm pretty sure it's the same base pretzel they brush the toppings onto, so it's not particularly flavorful or adhering to the surface. The Almond Pretzel came with a Maple Syrup for dipping and was by far the best part.

The Pretzel Bakery is very good and definitely worth a visit. The staff is friendly and the food is served hot and fresh. The menu includes about 15 or more items that they call "Hand Twisted Happiness." They have lots of hotdogs in a pretzel with a variety of flavor combinations but my daughter and I decided to go with the jalapeño cheddar pretzel. It caught our eye because It was loaded with jalapeños and the cheddar cheese looked tempting. It took about five to ten minutes to make and comes with two dipping sauces. We went with horseradish and honey mustard. The pretzel was so good that it did not need sauces but it was nice to try them.

Food safety handling needs to be taught to employees. After I ordered pretzel bites, my kiddos and…read moreI sat down to enjoy. It was then I realized the employee who served me was wearing gloves. The same gloves he used to hand roll the dough, touch all the appliances, cash register, handle the cash I paid with, and cards. Over the 10min of watching, he never once changed his gloves. He served easily 10 other customers all with the same gloves contaminated by the cash he handled, cards he touched and all the other things. You can't go from handling the cash register right into hand rolling dough. Change your gloves, wash your hands. On top of all that, the pretzel bites aren't that good. Last time eating there.

The cashier (a young male employee) seemed annoyed from the start that we were placing multiple orders. After he entered everything, we realized we forgot to add one more item. Instead of being patient, his attitude changed and he repeatedly said "pay, pay," in a way that felt rude and uncomfortable almost like he assumed we weren't going to pay, even though we had just ordered a full meal. When I asked for ketchup, he pointed and said, "Look right there, there's no more ketchup," in a dismissive tone. It wasn't what he said, but how he said it. A simple, polite explanation would have been more professional. Again, the Pretzel Bite Dogs were good, but the cashier's attitude felt impatient and unwelcoming. I hope management works on customer service because the food deserves better.
