Bad: Filthy. Restrooms are simply disgusting. This is both a maintenance and a cleanliness issue. Please fix this. It's gross and it's pitiful. Let's take some pride. There aren't enough trash cans placed around the facility and they aren't carefully monitored on tournament days. We've been to other facilities that manage to keep up with trash and bathroom needs on busy days. Of note: previous reviews mention lack of air conditioning. It's now absolutely freezing. No lack of cold air. Parking: plenty of parking. The lot is not in great shape but parking is easy and straight forward. Concessions: Available. We've been to multiple tournaments and glad that it's predictably open and stocked with basics. I'm concerned about young kids developing & playing on basketball courts that aren't sized properly. I don't know how they learn correctly if out of bounds has such variability. Coaches need to point it out and teach the kids about it so they don't feel crazy if they're constantly going out of bounds. In my opinion the facility needs to hold themselves to a higher standard. Either maintain the facility before during and after events with professional custodians who take pride in their work or don't rent it out. If the facility is passing along cleaning duties to the organizations that rent it, re-think that. read more

I put both my sons in the basketball league here. This was the worst league out of the three we have been a part of here in the Austin area. The very first game for my 1st grader had them playing a 2nd grade team. The refereeing here is horrible. They dont know what they are doing and have no clue or training on basic fouls. The first game was pretty much a football match with kids fouling, hitting, and jump balls called a hundred times when kids where fouled many times before it got to a jump ball. You will never see a reach in foul, blocking foul, shooting fouls when the player is hit while shooting, or anything obvious. Its a joke. This is for both my 1st grader and 4th grader. The 1st grade team ended up canceling the season because this gym was having them play teams with 4th grade girls way to old to be playing them. They did not even give our money back after canceling. The entire ref staff needs to be fired and replaced. We had a kid get fouled multiple times, end up on the floor in a head lock, and a jump ball was called. The last game a kid drove in to the basket and the defender was holding the guys arm all the way and nothing was called. Overall I will never have my kids play in a league here again. This isnt teaching kids how to play correctly. Any one that grows up playing here will be in shock when they play in a real officiated game. Stay away from this place. read more

All the money this place makes, their restrooms are very filthy! Been coming here the last 3-4 years for tournaments and this has never changed. Most of the times they are out of soap & papertowls in the restrooms. Most of the high chairs needs to be replaced. All the parents always have something to say about how filthy the women's restrooms are. Like I said, as much as this facility makes this is unacceptable! The floors in the restrooms looks like they haven't been mopped in months. Hire a maintenance person to keep our clean. I hate seeing the girls having to change uniforms in there, and having to put their stuff down in this filthy place. read more

Based on attending multipme tournaments here and one camp... this place is run down and a horrible place for tournaments. It is sweltering hot, they are not able to cool the space at all so parents and athletes are miserable, there is no airflow, it is a hot warehouse. There is trash EVERYWHERE: smashed food, wrappers, empty bottles. The bathrooms are disgusting, and the courts are not regulation size. We dread going here and would never send out son to another camp here. read more

This is the most unorganized and unprofessional sports program that we have ever participated in. My son has now heard some new profanity thanks to the score keeper in his game. The score keeper was yelling and cursing at our coach and the ref. NOTHING was done by the ref or any other staff at the PAC. This is supposed to be an uplifting and skill building experience for our youth. I did not need to have to discuss this horrific use of profanity and immature behavior by an adult with my 8 year old son. This never should have been allowed to happen in the first place much less continue when it did happen. As if this wasn't horrific enough the facilities are also dirty, lack any appropriate seating and have nowhere near enough space inside for the amount of courts they are trying to cram in. read more

I made the mistake of registering my son for their 4-day basketball camp. The first day he came home and said it was boring, that there was no real instruction. I showed up early the second day to see what kind of drills they work on... they weren't working on anything. There was 1 adult coach and 2 other younger, maybe barely adult workers. That was it. For a whole lot of kids. The kids were just out on the courts playing around and I saw zero instruction for the short time I was there. That same day (day 2), I asked my son how it was, he said the coach (the only recognizable adult in the building) told him he sucked for his age (not his exact words, I'm sure, but that was how my kid interpreted it). He was told he should be a lot better than he was for being 9 years old. (Even though it was supposedly a camp for beginners.) Third day, I show up about lunch (so really early!) to see what is going on. I'm glad I did. My son tells me he just wants to leave. He says that the coach kept calling him the wrong name and told him he was f-ing up.... except he coach used the actual word. I called his dad, who left work to come to the camp and talk to the coach. The coach admitted to saying it, but said he was telling another kid he was f-ing up, not our son... and the kid he did say it to was 18 (making it okay, I guess...). He did apologize for calling our son the wrong name the entire 3 days, but he had excuses for that also. It was all excuses and justifications.... no real apologies or offers of solutions. We went ahead and took our son home and did not return for the 4th day of camp. I did not pay $225 for a babysitter. I paid for him to go, have fun, learn more about basketball to see if it was a sport he would want to continue with, and maybe make some new friends. None of that happened. What a complete waste of money & a disgrace to the sport. Needless to say, we will never be returning there. Which is disappointing since it is so close to our house. Thankfully we found another basketball camp in the Cedar Park area he will be going to next week (Brandy Perryman!) and I am hopeful that it will show my son that basketball isn't awful.... just PAC and the coach they hired to run that camp. read more

Don't bring your kid here for camp!!! Recently became a single mom which brought on an unforeseen financial hardship!! I explained my situation and hoped they would make exception to allow for a refund. Nope!!! PAC borders Cedar Park and Leander and is very easy to get to. I don't have to take the toll road, I can take Crystal Falls going east from 183 or West from Ronald Regan/Parmer Ln. The courts are really nice, we love the hardwoods. My daughter has attended skills training, and played on the Centex Select basketball team. We were looking for intense basketball training to develop her hunger for the game. We had at least 6 hours/wk of training and add up to 5 game - tournaments...that's alot of basketball! They have a comfortable concession area. I was able to continue working with their Wifi. If there are alot of people on, the signal can be weak, I mentioned this to them so hopefully their expand their bandwidth. There are so many options for athletics, I can have my 7 year old, my 10 year old, and my teenager all working out under the same roof. I haven't signed up for any adult leagues but it may be in my future! They also have volleyball clubs playing under the same roof. I'd have to say what attracts me to the PAC is the location, the quality of the gym, easy accessibility, and the staff always listens and addresses your concerns. I'd recommend it. read more

Lets start with WOW! The facility opened recently and 6 basketball courts and 3 volleyball courts. The PAC, as they call it, is focused primarily on the two sports and offers leagues to all ages. Additionally the offer special training in various age groups. I brought my 12 year old out today for example, for some focused training on ball handling for basketball. The trainer knew what he was doing and gave nurturing yet intense instructions that centered on fundamentals. Advanced training is also available. read more

Stuck in between inner/outer doors looking in at Staff (VOLUNTEERS, no doubt!) who check wristbands, they're just sitting there chatting at each other while THE DOORS ARE LOCKED!!! Over the past 3 or 4 years our son has played basketball tournaments at many different venues across the state. I can honestly say PAC was the worst venue he's ever played in. The courts are undersized and shouldn't be used for high school level tournaments. With the reduced size you can't properly space the floor which leads to ugly basketball. The 3-point area between the 3-point line and the out of bounds line is so narrow that kids step out of bounds almost every time they take a corner 3. It's like nothing I've ever seen before. The rims are super-stiff like something you would see at an old playground. I heard multiple people mention they thought at least 1 rim was uneven because of the odd bounces and rolls that would occur after a shot or layup attempt. The courts are so crammed together you can't get around the facility, and seating is awful. It's also extremely hot because they have 1 large overhead fan at the front entrance and basically nothing else throughout the rest of the venue. The 1 positive thing I can say is that it's easy to get to. read more

This place Is a complete rip off! After friends paid $800 to sign their kid up to play there, they were charged $8 a person to watch their own kid play games! You would think with all that money they would Atleast pave the parking lot! I definitely won't take my kids there! read more

Sigh....... I want this place to be good but it needs a lot of work. Good things, they have some healthy options in their concession stand as well as the typical junk, the basketball coordinator, he does a great job with the kids he trains. You can tell he truly loves kids and enjoys what he does. I cannot think of his name. He is very tall. Benesha is always helpful. The location is good in regards to where my family lives. Bad things. This facility is absolutely FILTHY! I have been here a few times for basketball leagues for my boys and club volleyball for my 15 year old daughter. I cringe every time I walk in. Everything is dirty, the floors, the fan, the netting, the equipment, everything. The worst of them all is the restrooms. I have never been in something so disgusting in my life. I noticed on a late night there they had young employees "cleaning" the restrooms. This is unacceptable at such a high traffic facility. They need professional cleaning. Again, I want to love this place because I like what they are trying to do, but it is a pig pen. Also, their volleyball equipment looks run down and out dated. For a place that brings in so much money, this is unacceptable. They need to take a field trip to the Round Rock Sports Center, pronto! Get with the program guys. Nice facility. Outrageous gate fees. My son has played a number of basketball tournaments here and we have never once had an even mediocre officiating crew. My guess is they hire anyone and do very little training. Would like it if our coaches never chose to play here again. read more

I have never been to this facility for a tournament until today. It was one of the worst experiences for a venue. We had afternoon wave so matches started at noon. I arrived at 1pm to watch a match and it was HOT inside the entire building. By the time we left, it was 80 inside that bldg! As it got hotter outside, so did the inside! The poor girls playing were miserable - several teams wore long sleeve jerseys not expecting such heat inside!!! Their food selection is horrible but they won't let any outside food in...including water bottles! Most quality gyms also have wifi to allow attendees to work or manage activities while at their venue. They had wifi broadcasting with a big ole exclamation point on it...none of their networks worked! Not a quality place and not a place I would recommend! read more

I have had nothing but a disappointing experience with the PAC. My 9 year old son has played basketball two seasons and while the coaching is great, the officiating has been bad to offensive. Just today one of the officials, within earshot of the team referred to them as "terrible." This was by far the worst experience we have had there but if you sign your kid up to play, you should not expect the officials to understand the nuances of the different rules (age based). 1 star for nice facility. read more

This is one of the best training gyms around for young basketball players of all levels. The coaches are great. Have had my child in private lessons as well as team play and Jodie McGarity is amazing with kids. His coaching is consistently great. He inspires and brings out the best in young athletes.Their league is very organized and plays mostly at the PAC facility. read more

What can I say... a disappointing experience at a competing sports center prompted me to review some of their competitors. My daughter has been playing volleyball at this facility for years ranging from rec leagues, tryouts, club practices, tournaments, and private lessons both indoor and sand. My only negative memories stem from a tournament a few years back where people were parking along 183A but I think they have since addressed that with additional parking. The courts are in pretty good shape although sometimes dirt gets tracked in and makes it harder to get traction. The staff are friendly and helpful. There is plenty of court space for both basketball and volleyball. The scoreboards are usually functional to give you an unobstructed view of the score. Parents can watch the players from a variety of vantage points (bleachers, barstools, and folding chairs). The concession stand has pretty good food although I haven't had much luck with the coffee. There is also a nice common area indoors for parents to distance themselves from the action. Dividers can be lowered to help separate various activities if needed. This really is what I would deem a "comfort court" - a place where your young athletes can feel at home and play their best. The "outside food" scenario is valid. Most of these establishments prefer that the spectators buy their food instead of bringing in outside food. The coffee is an obvious miss because everyone wants coffee and theirs is lacking in quality. However I will say kudos to this facility for not enforcing these food policies on the players like a certain other sports center in the vicinity. read more
