Oak Ridge Park has gone from being a neighborhood asset to a community embarrassment. It's filthy…read more-- litter, food scraps, beer cans, and cigarette butts are everywhere. Under one tree sits a disgusting pile of bagged dog waste, even though a trash can is literally across the street. This is not just lazy, it's a public health hazard. Parents, be warned: this is not a safe or sanitary place for children. The neglect here is unacceptable and sends the message that our neighborhood green space doesn't matter. This park deserves better. City maintenance, HOA, or whoever is responsible -- it's time to step up, clean up, and take pride in our park before it becomes a permanent dump.

The park is open to all the local residents of Cedar Park, however, the tennis courts do require a special card for access. The main building has both public restrooms and a public meeting room. The covered picnic area is fitted with electrical outlets. Along with plenty of picnic tables, there are several grills which you can use. This park does have a small parking lot of about 10 spaces. This is a well thought out spacious family friendly park worthy of spending a couple hours at.

After our discussion we selected the perfect size hoop for our driveway without overbearing the curb appeal of the house. His team was out to our home the next business day to install the anchor. Once that had cured, our new hoop was installed. It looks like a professional court in my driveway and as if the concrete base was always there. It blends in perfectly with the driveway. As for the hoop, its fully adjustable, powder coat painted, padded, and totally awesome. The hoop is top quality and looks like it'll last for years to come. Despite not living nearby or being able to use the club, they required 60 days' notice and continued charging full dues for two additional months. No flexibility. No prorating. No understanding. When I spoke with Rachel King about it, she was dismissive and simply repeated the policy over and over instead of addressing the issue or showing any willingness to work with me. It felt intentionally rigid and callous. If you're considering joining, just be aware that leaving may not be handled with the same hospitality they show when signing you up.
