My only small negative is that some of the flooring is coming up in areas. I don't think it makes it any more dangerous, but it could get worse over time. The park is open to all the local residents of Cedar Park, however, the tennis courts do require a special card for access. The main building has both public restrooms and a public meeting room. The covered picnic area is fitted with electrical outlets. Along with plenty of picnic tables, there are several grills which you can use. This park does have a small parking lot of about 10 spaces. This is a well thought out spacious family friendly park worthy of spending a couple hours at.

It has quite a few amenities, such as public bathrooms, covered picnic tables with a grill, full basketball court, swings, big playscape area and tennis courts. However, you do have to have a special key to access the tennis courts and the phone number to call is in the photos below. You can call to reserve the covered picnic area for a private party. One unusual feature that I have not seen at other parks is something called a Petanque court. The photo below will better clue you in as to its design and purpose. A great asset to the local Cedar Park community.

Once that had cured, our new hoop was installed. It looks like a professional court in my driveway and as if the concrete base was always there. It blends in perfectly with the driveway. Huge water slide for bigger kids/adults and a smaller one for smaller kids. Outside volleyball, soccer, bmx trail, 2 separated playgrounds (one for bigger kids and one for smaller). They also used to have a rock climbing wall (unsure if it's still there). This makes for one of the best parks in Austin in my opinion.

They also host community events every so often (music, movies, fireworks, etc).

Under one tree sits a disgusting pile of bagged dog waste, even though a trash can is literally across the street. This is not just lazy, it's a public health hazard. Parents, be warned: this is not a safe or sanitary place for children. The neglect here is unacceptable and sends the message that our neighborhood green space doesn't matter. This park deserves better. City maintenance, HOA, or whoever is responsible -- it's time to step up, clean up, and take pride in our park before it becomes a permanent dump.

This park is very family friendly. There is a covered pavilion with four picnic tables, and two grills. Behind the pavilion and side of the volleyball court is a large grassy area where people frequently play with their dogs. Additionally, there are two benches under trees. There is a beautiful, large tree with shaded seating around it in front of the pavilion. There is only one trash can, but I have not seen it overflowing. Frequently people walking dogs can be seen dropping off their sealed doggie bags into the trash there. In front of this park are the neighborhood mailboxes. This is a great neighborhood park.
