Incredible food, excellent service, the hotel is under renovation it seems it's gonna look amazing!

Decent wings and service here at this standard hotel bar/restaurant. It's basically what you'd expect in a hotel bar: a little sterile, adequate but not stellar food, and a small tap selection. I had Buffalo wings which were decent, a little crispy as they should be. The salmon special ($29) was my entree and it itself was good, but the sides-broccoli and green beans-were unremarkable. My friend's steak special ($39) looked great but was mediocre, simply not the best cut of meat. Too much tenderizer I think. Overall you could do a lot worse at a hotel bar. read more

Great service and a cozy atmosphere by the fireplace. I've only eaten the appetizers but they're pretty good! The chicken quesadilla is huge and filling, the chips and guacamole portion is also a lot. The flatbread isn't bad. I ordered appetizers as a main meal and I never left hungry. For breakfast they have the standard hotel breakfast of eggs and bacon etc. read more

The service was extremely slow. Waited in line to order for about HALF OF AND HOUR and there was only ONE person infront of us!! Not only was it a long wait to take our order, but for us to recive the food was even longer. The staff acknowledged us waiting in line and ignored us. I was oh-so-lucky to eat 3 dishes here in 12 hours (ah, the joys of work travel and never leaving the hotel). While this would certainly not be my restaurant of choice, the food was at least edible, or at least 2 of the 3 dishes that I ordered. You can also order food until midnight at the bar, which is always a Godsend when you have a late flight. Ranch Chopped Cobb ($12) - A little expensive for a salad, but it was tasty. The bacon, avocado, and dressing probably negate the healthiness of the salad, but how can you say no to bacon - it makes everything more delicious. All in all, a solid and delicious salad. I'd get this again. Arugula Shaved Fennel & Beets ($11) - 1 star for this salad - it had arugula, candied walnuts, feta cheese, beets, and a vinaigrette. Far too healthy, and way too "healthy-tasting". It was like I had dumped a bag of slightly old and too bitter arugula on a plate, added a few nuts and dressing, and charged $11. That's what I get for trying to eat healthy - pass on this. Chicken Quesadilla - You can't go too wrong with this: chicken, cheese, and tortilla - probably not the healthiest, but after my inedible salad (see my comments about the arugula salad), this tasted so good. The quesadilla came out hot, the cheese was melty, and they didn't skimp on the chicken. Stick to the Ranch Chopped Cobb salad and Chicken Quesadilla. I'll probably be back here again for work, and would get these 2 dishes again. It wouldn't be my restaurant / meal of choice, but if you don't have very many options, it works. read more

Great service, good food. I would have give more stars but for their deceptive menu. Their wine comes in a TWO ounce or 6 ounce BUT THE MENU IS NOT CLEAR ON WHAT YOU ARE GETTING... KINDA shady. Also there was a fishy smell from the kitchen, which is oddly attached to the dinning room. The great service kept me from giving less stars. read more

I am sorry, but there was nothin good about this meal. I attended a working dinner with 15 co-workers. We reserved a banquet room. Unfortunately there was a small party that came in right after us that was exceptionally loud. We closed the doors and it became a sauna in there. It was not until 3/4 the way through the evening they attempted to address the temperature. However it never cooled. The food was not good and way over priced for what you were getting. I got the Caesar salad and mahi mahi special. The Caesar salad dressing tasted like it was from a bottle. If it was, shame on you! You charge someone $12 for a salad and use dressing from a bottle! Never plate fish skin against wet starch. Even if the skin was crispy when it left the kitchen, it will not be when it hits the table. The fish was way overlooked and dry. All the way around it was bad food. Co-workers also complained about overlooked meat and average flavor. Service...can someone help out the old lady that was waiting on us? She moved in slow motion. She was overwhelmed. It is not her fault she is slow. It is the responsibility of the team or the manager to help out. What did I learn today? I would highly recommend you find a different place to eat. read more

Clam chowder was almost all liquid. Lobster Mac and Cheese had minimal lobster and contained a very strange cheese and noodle combination. Definitely overpriced. read more

I had an impromptu lunch here with number two son. He is living out in that part of Massachusetts and that Sheraton was a remembered Turnpike landmark. We wanted a place with good burgers and a relaxed service. Postern came through times two. I like my burger as rare as the chef wants to make it. The staff let me know that the chef felt he had over cooked the first one and was grilling a second... It was perfect... And both my son and I loved the fries... Fresh cut with sea salt. There are so many upscale chains out there on route 9. If you want something unique and convenient and good, check it out! read more

Excellent Service! Tom was willing to answer questions regarding the menu. Small serving of $17 five cheese Mac-n-Cheese. I even paid to have chicken added. It had no maple wood bacon and definitely did not have 5 cheeses. The service carried this meal. Tom realized I wasn't impressed with the supposed 5 cheese-mac and cheese and took it away. I ordered the chicken and lemongrass potstickers. I can't say enough about the servers attentiveness to their customers and light repoire. read more

In my opinion, this restaurant is over priced and the food is not remarkable. I got the chicken quesadilla , and the flatbread pizza for an appetizer. My dinner guests ordered the Mac and cheese, which looked like it was cooked from a box (it was also 22$). Ordered the raspberry cheesecake, which was sooooo small. Terrible customer service, mediocre food. After my long flight, I was happy to find out that Sheraton had a in-house restaurant open till 11 pm! Most places I found were either further away or closes at 9. I ordered my salmon entree at 9:30. After about 30 minutes of waiting, I asked about the food. They said it wasn't ready yet. After 50 minutes, I asked again - it still wasn't ready. Finally got my food at 10:45. Food was okay. Not worth the 1.25 hours of wait. I would not recommend. read more

My wife and I got stuck at this hotel for a few days during a blizzard. I was VERY happy that this place was there. The food was spot on and the drinks were delicious. It is pricey, but its convenient and if its during a storm, you don't have a choice anyways and you don't even need one. read more

More hotel lobby pub than a true destination restaurant, I ate here after a trade show onsite, and my fairly low expectations were slightly exceeded. I had a salad of arugula, roasted beets, blue cheese & walnuts. Very good salad, but add the 2 ounces of protein (chicken or beef), and you're over $21. So.... Questionable value prop. So-so service (not very attentive, but sociable & polite at least). I would say, not bad in a pinch or if you're staying here at the hotel, but not worth driving to. read more

I've eaten at this restaurant out of convenience three times. I don't remember my first order, but this stay, I had the pub burger for dinner and the calamari and Cobb salad the next night. The burger was excellent! Warning: if you don't like blue cheese, don't order a burger with it. It's a really good blue cheese bacon burger. I also had the Brussels sprouts in lieu of fries. Yum! The calamari was really yummy too- it has fried peppers and a yummy dipping sauce. Wonderful if you like a little kick. The Cobb salad was very good- but request the dressing on the side since it comes on it (I prefer to do my own). I did have a cup of the clam chowder... it was kind of bad. I wouldn't order again. I'm picky with chowder though. Giving four stars because most of the food was excellent. The service could have been faster- but I wasn't in a hurry. We were here for a convention so this was a convenient place to eat. We waited a long time for our food and it was just okay.

With great excitement, we drove to Beauty and the Beast's Castle (aka the Sheraton) which housed the more recently opened restaurant, The Postern Grille. After being seated, we were less than mesmerized by the ambience of the Grille. In attempts to discuss the items on the menu, I could barely hear my dining partner; the acoustics in the room weren't great. While our server was charming; the food itself was less than to be desired. The salmon salad was flavorless and the scallops overwhelmed with a pungent mustard sauce. The wine, while tasty, was way overpriced. Overall, the experience can't even be described as mediocre. :( read more

I don't care for the blue cheese they put on the angus burger. It really ruins the entire meal. Fries are sparse, not very hot and overly salted. But, the bartender is a great server and really knows how to make up for it all with his attentive service. If you're trapped here, enjoy the gas flame ambience and know it could be much worse. You could be in the Marriot Residency Suites ordering Chinese delivery. Just stay away from the catfish. This isn't Arkansas. The catfish is a letdown. The crab cakes are dry and too rich. Everything else is edible, just hold the blue cheese. The coffee is weak. I wish this place had a Starbucks. read more

Great service and meal. Elected to do the Chef's table for a special occasion dinner and everyone was so accommodating and helpful. Chef Ken was wonderful to work with and open to suggestions. He was also very attentive, along with all of the staff, throughout our evening. Highly recommend the Chef's table for a special event or unique dining experience with a small group or just to enjoy a great meal in a comfortable environment. My boyfriend and I were in the area, we were looking for a restaurant that we hadn't been to before. We found The Postern Grille which is inside of the Sheraton Framingham. The food at The Postern Grille appears simple, but the flavors have remarkable depth. There were so many delicious items on the menu that it was hard to decide what to order. We decided on a Arugula & Beet salad and Lobster Rangoon for appetizers. The chipotle soy sauce on the Lobster Rangoon was amazing. For dinner we ordered the Flank Steak and Five Cheese Mac & Cheese. I cannot say enough about how fabulous the food was. The restaurant is both clean and tidy. All the staff members there greeted customers with warm smiles. I would thoroughly recommend The Postern Grille to anyone whether you are staying overnight at the hotel or just in the local area. I know I'll certainly be returning soon. read more

was at hotel for a seminar last week, came here after. was seated at a table. minimum ten minutes passed and no one came by with water or a "be right with you." after no signs of intelligent life we got up and left. stopped by hotel front desk just outside restaurant on the way out to ask if they were just understaffed tonight.
