This was my rec softball team's after game spot! Usually not too crowded, so we could always get a group of tables together. Can't comment on the drink selection, as we usually just split a couple pitchers of Coors Light, but the food was always tasty and inexpensive! I tried the buffalo chicken sandwich, french fries, and burger, and was never disappointed. Sometimes the service can be slow, but it has a fun, casual atmosphere and is a nice bar to have in the area. read more

I went here to watch a basketball game. The bar service was good but I was highly disappointed with the food. I ordered nachos. I was expecting the nachos to be fully loaded with chicken, tomatoes, onions, guacamole, sour cream, etc. Reality is my nachos came out plain with cut chicken and melted cheese on top. read more

I've been here twice. Plenty of TV screens. Not many choices of beer for a bar that goes all around. The chili Thai wings are really good! The bartender, Chuck is not very welcoming. I was here yesterday in like below degrees weather. The door was open. I asked the bartender if there was heat and he said no in a very unapologetic way and with no reason why. Everyone including him was wearing a jacket. He has no personality and is very dry at his response. We ordered two beers and he became distracted while on his phone and forgot about us for a short while. I would go back, just for their wings. Might just take them to go. Ok. So I called this place several times to make sure there would be a dj. The guy who picked up the phone said yes. Lies. He only cared about getting people in. Shots tasted watered down. They do have an interesting beer selection. Also, site said they had an arcade. They only had an old dart board. So that was disappointing in addition to no dj. It was spacious but not the place to go on a special night. It was kinda run down. If your looking for a place to chill. I guess it's ok. Can't speak on the food but by the looks of the pictures, doesn't look like much. I would recommend Pier 115. Exactly 8 minutes away from this location. Oh so for music they had a 21st century jukebox. So u have to pay to listen to music. And ur songs can be trumped by other people. So even though we purchased songs, we never got to hear it bc people trumped so their songs always played before ours. read more

Beer selection is good, service is friendly, they have a bunch of tv's, pricing is reasonable, and when I'm there I feel right at home. What more would you want in a sports bar? Consistency, people! Yes! Jovan is one cool bartender. As is Gianni? And I think Nicole? I was pretty tipsy the second time so the names are a bit fuzzy. The trivia guy and his girl are pretty great, too. There are prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places. We were 25pts/one question away from 3rd place our second time! Siiigh. On that second visit I had a taste of the chili since friends ordered nachos that had chili on top (a ton of nachos, not a ton of chili). But it was the chili I needed more of (yes... needed), so I ordered a chili bowl bc it's a ton of chili served with some nachos. Winner winner chili dinner! Even after that and couple beers + Jameson shots, still had an entire burger and dipped my fries in my leftover chili. Good idea? Absolutely. My cousin and I have been in here a few times before, and have never been impressed with the food or the service, yet today was the icing on the cake. I hate writing bad reviews, but I was absolutely disgusted by the service, and behavior displayed by the bartender, Allison. My cousin and I both have both bartended, managing now, and have worked in customer service, so we understand how difficult customers and being busy....but we were so appalled by the bartenders behavior we payed for our drinks and left. Let me expound on the actions displayed: First, when we arrived, the bartender took about 5 minutes to great us (only 10 at the bar smh) while we overhear a couple literally offering cash to other people because the bartender had been so rude. We soon see how accurate they had been about her. Second, we order two shots, and to our faces she goes "ew!" Sorry if a pickle back isn't your cup of tea, well whiskey more accurately, but why on earth would you express your personal foul opinion on a patrons shot of choice. (Again, we bartend, we know you're working for tips, at least pretend like you're going to make me the best tasting pickle back shot I've ever had!) Third, we had really come to eat, and after asking for the menu 3 times, we were kind of over it. Along with not getting our menus, the people next to hadn't gotten there shots in that time, and a table got up and left because they hadn't received service at all. Work harder Allison, up your sales, better tips ;) Fourth, after not garnishing the shots that were asked for, after being asked multiple times, the couple next to us asks to speak to a manager (which one should have been on the floor anyway) Allison gets a member of the kitchen staff to come out and talk to the couple, as opposed to a real manager. Lastly, we ask for the check out of disgust, twice, shouldn't take that long...yet again, waited a ridiculous amount of time, and we eventually had to walk to the other side of the bar, to interrupt her casual conversation about the couple next to us, to hand her a credit card, so we could get out of there. Leaving her a decent tip, solely because we know $2.13/hr isn't covering anyone's rent. Moral of the story....we won't be returning for subpar food, and horrific service....oh yeah, and Allison....do better, no one really wants a mediocre bartender with a crappy attitude. read more

Stopped by for a snack and some drinks. I tried the Tank 7 and Hudson Pale Ale. Both were really good (if you like hoppy beer) but the Tank 7 was a little better in my opinion. Gennaro was an awesome and friendly bartender and always made sure we had a drink. An order of nachos was small for $9 but it was pretty good. The chips were crunchy and tasted fresh and the cheese was melted perfectly. They also have a small room with 5 or 6 80's arcade games and each game is $0.25... Definitely another plus! read more

Terrible service, great food, weak drinks, lots of space and usually empty. More of a "local bar". High chairs and tables along with booths and a bar area for seating. A good place to grab a quick beer and meal to kill time, but nothing to be crazy about. This place has the potential to do much better, not sure why it isn't. I've had a fair share of complaints with the bartenders behind the bar, however the one gentleman working was great. I'd deal with him before I deal with anyone else behind this bar. This bar is quite a treasure! a group of us stopped by the day after we attended a wedding. I'll start by saying the beer selection was great but not only was it great our bartender Andrea was extremely knowledgeable in her recommendations. Nice size facility and a very clean kept ladies room. I highly recommend the chicken dumplings as well as the chili. I'm not sure if it was just because it was a late night and the bar had just recently opened or because it was a busy weekend, but I was not a huge fan of this bar. I have yet to taste the food, but the drinks were not the greatest. So I recommend just getting beers, otherwise it is a fun environment to have a drink with some friends. read more

This place is pretty cool for fairview. It feels like Hoboken which may or may not be a good thing. The wings are my favorite but the overly loud music ruins it for me but I get that's what they're going for. I've had bad luck with putting too much money in the jukebox and having a game start right after at which point they completely turn off the music and have the tv volume play. But regardless solid spot. I wish they had a balcony over looking the cemetery that'd be dope. read more

Was here for week 1, the place is beautiful, it's just what this area needed. Though there were some issues with timing of the food I knew it was a new place that had just opened. When I came back 2 weeks later I was pleasantly surprised by the food and service. Their happy hour prices are spot on and no matter where I sit I can see at least 5 T.V.s! Stopped in for a few drinks on a Saturday afternoon while waiting for my car to be serviced and was pleasantly surprised. Not much to look at from the outside but inside it has a good sized bar and plenty of TVs for sports. Looks like a locals bar, but everyone was very friendly and I got a nice sized pour for both my Johnny blacks. Big surprise was the food - bartender talked me out of the bar pie and recommended the fish tacos. In North Bergen!!?? Fish tacos?!! But I took his word and they were FANTASTIC. I only got one because my wife (who wasn't hungry and just wanted " a bite") ate half before I even knew it. So this is probably a fun place when it is more crowded but I would definitely go back if I am in the area. read more
