I love the hard wax she used. She did tell me about the free eyebrow wax and also told me I would get 50% off each additional service, so I added another service. The front desk associate refused to give me the 50% off price. She told me the aesthetician was wrong and she would not honor what I was told. There are SO many specials, packages, discounts etc. Always being offered I can understand the confusion. BUT knowing I added an additional service based on the 50% off, it should have been honored. I will be looking for another place with better customer service.

I always prefer small businesses to corporations, and today I remembered why. Don't be fooled by a coupon. This isn't a review for that other place, so I won't get into how awful it was. I'm just so shocked by the difference. Lesson learned: just pay for the service you want. Alesia was kind, quick, gentle, and thorough. The pain was barely noticeable. I have no shame or modesty, but even if you do she won't make you feel weird! Haha. I wish I could just make an appointment for you, that's how pumped I am by this wax. Also as a side note... I hate going places that make me feel weird about wearing a mask or asking to wash my hands. I'm higher risk, and it makes me nervous to try new places. Alesia offered me hand sanitizer when I came in, sanitized everything, had touchless hand washing areas, wore a mask, and opened the sliding door with her elbow. I appreciated that! The house is hardish to fine (it's pink, that'll help you see it!) and there's parking behind it. So much more comfortable than some chain place that looks and smells like a tanning salon. I was having the hardest time finding a salon that wouldn't overdo my brows, despite my being very clear in asking. It's taken me years to get any growth out of my right one specifically. I went 5 days before my wedding - plenty of time to let weirdness die down before the big day. Masks were required, they enforced social distancing & the technicians were cleaning & sanitizing at every step. Their customer service was very good and my brows turned out better than they've ever been. Plenty of hair still in place to help shape new growth, no redness and my makeup artist even said how nice & clean they were! Pictures came out great and I've found my new "home salon!" I am letting my silver grow out and after a great consultation Jim went to work, adding highlights and lowlights, doing all kind of magic, and gave me a fresh cut afterwards.
