The woman working (who appears to be the owner based on other reviews) didn't seem very welcoming, and I felt like asking questions was an inconvenience. I was excited to visit The Popcorner, but it was just ok. They offer a wide variety of fun popcorn flavors as well as fudge. They also offer samples of certain fudge and popcorn flavors. There was fresh popcorn popping while I was in store which seemed promising, but unfortunately the two popcorn flavors I bought tasted kind of stale. I asked the lady working how long their popcorn stays fresh, and depending on the flavor it was a relatively short shelf life, around 1 week long. I noticed that none of the bags of popcorn in store had stickers saying either when the popcorn was produced or when it was best by, so I'm not sure how they track their store inventory to make sure they are only selling fresh popcorn that still tastes good. I tried two different cheddar flavors, and the cheese flavoring left an unpleasant oily aftertaste in my mouth. The lady working also wasn't the friendliest. Overall, I think you can get better popcorn elsewhere so I don't think I'll be rushing back. read more

OK, they have the best popcorn in the world and it's fresh and they have all different interesting flavors including the classics that we all love. They show up at a lot of special events and they even have a trolley car. Go by and get some popcorn you won't be sorry. read more

We have LOVED their popcorn for years however, the check-out process leaves a lot to be desired. I was in a couple days before Christmas and there was about 18 people in line to buy multiple bags of popcorn and only one check-out open. I felt like I wanted to rip my hair out! People around me were complaining too and when I got to the register, it was like they were taking their time trying to get you to sign-up for the now electronic rewards program, telling you about their upcoming flavors, etc. It truly mad me so mad, I wanted walk out if there. The popcorn is pricey and a real treat, but I don't want to stand in-line for 20 minutes sweating in a hot store nor does anybody! I have been in there when it's not peak season and then too, check-out takes waaayyyy too long. Oftentimes, I would get a clerk who seemed to be on their first day and there was a lot of running around trying to do the simplest of tasks. My husband told me a few years ago that he felt it was a frustrating place to do business. Please, please get more registers and have them open!!! read more

I had been hoping there was a good popcorn place since I moved to Wichita. Their variety of flavors is so awesome! Dill Pickle, chocolate covered cherry, birthday cake, the classic cheese, caramel, and cinnamon, and the list goes on. They also have AMAZING fudge, rice Krispy treats covered in goodies, and other treats. OH! and a hot cocoa bar! You gotta check this place out! read more

The Hispanic lady was extremely rude to me and lost a sale by being lazy and not wanting to sell me hot popcorn (even though there's a sign)

Found my favorite, I think it's call Tuti-Fruiti or something like that, they mix Grape, Banana, Apple, Orange, Cherry and a few other flavors, delish!! Oh, BTW if I didn't mention it before, if you buy a tin, on future visits, you get almost half priced popcorn. read more

Today I went in at 3 o'clock to grab a couple of bags and a snack for myself, the middle aged worker behind the counter was very abrupt and short and not pleasant whatsoever... Awesome place! I found this place while visiting my mother in the hospital nearby. There are Many eclectic varieties of popcorn as well as fudge and cookies. The staff is friendly and courteous and will let you sample the flavors you are interested in. A good local business to support. You should check it out. read more

I always enjoy going to the Popcorner. I'm a popcorn lover and enjoy their weekly flavors. They are always pleasant and helpful. You can sample the flavors before you buy too if you are unsure about them. I wish they would have a simple butter flavor available though instead of just the plain white salted. read more

I have been going to The Popcorner for quite some time now. I've always found the popcorn to be very fresh and tasty. They have a huge selection of flavors and tins for many occasions. Makes a great gift for any occasion. The prices are reasonable. They do fundraisers which I find to be a great way for schools and different organizations to raise money.
