While standing in the slowest moving line on earth, I watched several people walk up, open the door, and say nope! They need to pull the slow lady with the red glasses off the register and get a fast moving younger employee run it, and BETTER yet, figure out how to scale up to two registers in rush times like Christmas. The lady running the register was tone def to how annoyed people were. I won't be going back, their popcorn is not that good and not worth the wait.

Sometimes I'll also get a flavor of the month, but it's hard to beat peanut butter if you're looking for something sweet. I really only have had problems with the cheddar/jalapeño cheddar. First, a few months ago I noticed the color of the popcorn wasn't as orange as usual. Sure enough, it didn't have the cheddar flavor that it usually had. The jalapeño cheddar was even more lacking in flavor, with much less jalapeño flavoring it seemed. I could almost accept the shortage in flavor, but when I brought this last bag home it had even bigger issues. Probably a quarter to a fifth of this expensive bag of popcorn was seeds and hulls. It was like they poured the bottom of the large vat into this bag. Talk about disappointment and embarrassment! I was sharing this bag with company and saying how good it was! I may go back again, it just won't be as soon. It could be that they just had a bad employee (it happens). Or maybe the smaller sizes would be better. I'm not sure, but the popcorn is very addictive. I know I'll go back eventually!

I tried to ask again about if I can take off certain items and she snapped that they are not customizable. Ok then. So I didn't get any as I felt overwhelmed, she was rude and I wanted time to look over the choices but felt too rushed. They were not busy as we were only ones in store and no one in drive-thru. My two daughters got bowls and said the bowls were good. But I won't be taking them back. So the stars are for taste (per 14 yr olds) and not for service.

I love supporting local businesses, but it's pretty hard to "shop local" when the business acts like you need an invitation just to spend money there. Meanwhile, other customers seem to get instant service while I'm left filling in the blanks. At this point, it's clear to me that The Sweet Witch picks and chooses who they want to sell to, and if you're not on whatever invisible list they have, good luck.
