They definitely have a wonderful breakfast menu that is simple and so very satisfying. The bacon - perfection. The pancakes, delicious and filling. The blueberry crumb/coffee cake - moist and delicious. If I had one criticism...it would be the tiny far of maple syrup - not the right ratio, with the size of pancakes they offer. It's ok. I was able to take leftover pancakes home...they reheated really well and I have plenty of Maine maple syrup at home. As part of the restaurant (or vice versa) there is a connected store - which sells almost ever candy imaginable. We love the 12+ different flavors - they are fresh, so it's best to eat them within a week before they start to take on the taste of the wrapper. They are very tender pieces of taffy - not too hard. Makes them really easy to eat - very dangerous LOL This is definitely one of my favorite places in York. I can't wait to return before the start of the next tourist season. I was happy, but was always curious about the other flavors but nervous to commit to a back of something I might not like...and I found a brick and mortar store :) I have been in here a couple of times and the staff has been welcoming, friendly and proactive to assist tastes buds of all levels of enthusiasm. I typically know what I want to buy, but if they are offering free samples, how can I say no! I don't want to hurt their feelings afterall. The most adventurous flavor I have sampled is maple siracha. I am a fan of maple flavor and a fan of siracha. Combined? I'm not sure, I might have to try again...it definitely left a little after burn - nice spicy heat. My go to flavors, Maine Maple, Parmesan Garlic, and white cheddar. I love that I can different sized bags at this location and they bag it on demand. For some reason it just tastes more fresh than when I purchase from a reseller. I also love that they give you a wire wrap to keep the bag closed IF and I mean IF in the event you don't eat the bag at once. This is now the only popcorn I buy and I highly recommend it. Each and every one. Poor flavor, poor quality. I had been originally very pleased to find a pack of Clove gum... a rare find, and one of my favorites. It was also so stale and old that when I put it in my mouth, the stick of gum cracked rather than folded in any way and took perhaps a good three minutes of chewing before it felt like anything that resembled what chewing gum is meant to be. I would encourage anyone who is eager to get quality sweets to look elsewhere.
