LOVE the Pool School! Great instructors that actually taught "skills" rather than just got my kids wet. I would definitely recommend them.

I had the chance to visit Life Time Fitness in Collierville because my friend had a guest pass and…read moreinvited me, and I'm so glad she did. We attended the Surrender Yoga class with Heidi, and it was such a good experience. The class was relaxing but also really effective it opened me up and helped me stretch in ways I didn't even realize I needed. Heidi was calming, knowledgeable, and made the atmosphere feel welcoming. After class, we sat in the sauna for about 15 minutes, which was the perfect way to wind down. Before we left, my friend gave me a full tour of the facility. She showed me the different floors, the daycare area, locker rooms, pool area, pickleball courts, and the basketball court. Overall, it was a great experience, and the space felt clean, upscale, and well worth checking out.

The sauna is now closed and I went to an employee, Sam, and began expressing my concerns to the constant issues with the sauna. End of it Sam argued, didn't care and said it is my choice to be a member and I could find somewhere else. Sam doesn't understand I do my chemo treatment Monday afternoon and my routine includes coming to the gym for mind body and spirt before the infusion center. This is not about a sauna thing this is about a routine I've been doing for a year and some employee with zero care. Sam didn't know and doesn't care because Sam is all about Sam. Anyway end of the day Sam is right. I can choose any gym and just start a new Monday routine there. Please don't hire anymore like Sam. I just spoke to the manager who took time to hear me. Thank you for listening and hearing my words. She also shared with me her father's journey and hers as a caregiver. Real convo with a caring professional. As long as there is management in place like her this gym will only get better. Thanks lifetime and thanks Sam.

I am a 23 year customer of The Dive Shop and there is a reason for that! In fact, two reasons: 1…read more Technical expertise. and 2. Excellent customer service. For those interested in learning the great sport of SCUBA, you will not find a more knowledgeable group of professionals. As awesome and safe as SCUBA is in the 21st century, without proper training it is still dangerous. So, when one's life depends on skills and equipment knowledge one should seek out those who can impart those life preserving skills the best and that would be The Dive Shop! On top of that, Randy and his crew, across the board, treat everyone like family and long lost friends as soon as you walk through the door! Their service department is second to none as well, so if you are already certified and just need your equipment brought up to date you can count on them to do it right and do it quickly.

If you're reading this - you probably fit under one or more of the following: 1) You're considering becoming a diver, 2) You're a diver new to the area; 3) You need to find a local place to service or buy equipment. I think I can recommend them on all these points. I got qualified as a diver there in 2008. They've answered my questions, given me advice. The training has prepared me for events both expected and not, thus enabling me to have fun instead of fear. In short, they've literally kept me alive. They have instructors with varying personalities. I think it's safe to say that all of them have the skills to help you gain certification/improve. However, they all have different personalities. I'd recommend asking about that - perhaps even going as far as interviewing instructors to gauge compatibility. They've arranged purchases and travel, even when I wasn't buying from them. Some items can be bought cheaper through the internet, but we will always need a local shop to provide pool training, fill our tanks and such, so I frequent them to help keep them open. They organize group dive trips to exotic locations at a fair price. During the summer they get small groups to go to local quarries so you can both practice and gain friendships. I met my primary dive buddy in this manner (having a dive buddy allows you to dive more often!). They're not perfect, but they're all about encouraging/enabling you to get out and dive. Can't ask for more than that.

I like that it's inside year round classes that keep your skills fresh. The staff are friendly and experienced to cover various needs and personalities. No summer or breaks camps offered at this time just regular classes. It can get loud in there with multiple classes at the same time sharing the space as well with gym members in furthest lane especially when Gym members turn on the hot tub. Kids are not allowed in there. The pool water is heated but is not warm enough occasionally which is out of swim schools hands since it's managed by the gym. With the smaller classes I feel like they are able to progress and process new techniques faster. There are a few benches for a parent to observe. Changing tents provided. I think it's a good value for the price.
