We left our belongings in a secure locker (locked and unlocked by our wristband) and shown how to enter the rooms. The museum is jam packed with room after immersive room--most of them require a combination of skill, intelligence and athleticism. Despite arriving fairly self-assured of our abilities, we were quickly humbled at the difficulty of the experiences, which provided a nice challenge. It was a lot of fun for a date night and kept us engaged the entire time, but it can be quite physical, so wear tennis shoes and comfy clothing. We purchased a two hour pass, uncertain if there would be enough to keep us entertained and it was plenty! Despite its being a Saturday night, we didn't have to wait more than a few minutes for any of the rooms, and most we didn't wait even a minute for. Both staff and other patrons were very friendly and the facility was clean and exciting. There were a few rooms with audio difficulties (hints were difficult to hear, like the clue themed dinner room and the spooky telephone room), and the "how to play" language wasn't available or didn't update for subsequent levels on some of the rooms' screens, but these were literally the only improvements we could recommend. After two hours, there were some rooms we still hadn't seen, and we'll definitely return more prepared next time!

It ended up being pretty awesome and is a place I'd suggest other consider for team building events. The activities we did were new to me and varied in their level of interaction, physical effort and need for detailed thinking. In all they were quite entertaining. We also did some individual activities such as rock climbing and zip lining, which allowed us to push our personal boundaries in addition to challenging our boundaries in group settings. The staff was awesome - always helpful and cheerful, but not in an obnoxious way. There is a lake, basketball court, indoor meeting facility, pool, game room, and awesome patio with rocking chairs. Far exceeded expectations!

That's why I love Peabody Park in midtown. It's smaller and less crowded than nearby Overton Park, and it's got some unique features. There are two large metal sculptures by local artist Yvonne Bobo, a pavillion, and a large playground. But the best thing about Peabody Park is the splash park. During the summer, it's packed with kids trying to cool off in the intermittent spray from fountains, geysers, misters and rainfalls. The park is also home to the Raymond Skinner Center, a community recreation center that has special resources for people with mental and physical disabilities. The splash park at Peabody Park is free and open daily during the summer.

There's also a little pavilion near the playground and a larger one off to the side near the splash park. During the summer, our girls love to don their bathing suits and run around in the motion controlled splash park sprinklers. There are smaller ones for the little kiddies and larger splashes for the fearless older kids. The equipment is all in good shape, and I never worry about my kids getting hurt. When we go out for family day, this is one of our favorite stops.

From park slides and swing days with the kids when they were little, to adventures in the wooded trail in the hidden areas, softball games, Pokemon Go days, to parades, 4th of July celebrations, the list goes on and on. I've probably walked 500 miles or more on these trails. The trails around the park are fantastic. You meet so many great people on any trek around the park. They keep the ponds stocked well with fish and there is a dock that takes you out to the middle of the largest pond. Please pay attention to the catch limits though. There is a dog park, many covered pavilions, grills to use for cooking, a very cool, all inclusive playground for the kids, and tons of baseball fields. They do Christmas lights around the Holidays that are pretty. The police presence is always pretty high. There is usually a cop in the park at all times and they do not play if you step out of line here. I dig that. We are very lucky to have this safe space for all families to visit and have fun.
