What a beautiful studio filled with positive energy. The community is so welcoming to someone that's new even if they're just passing by. Visiting The Pole Room was just another highlight of my fantastic vacation. It was easy to find, lots of street parking, and the class was applicable for all levels. Amanda is a great instructor! I wouldn't hesitate to come back again. read more

I'm a local resident and recently moved to Lahaina from Haiku. The highlight has been finding The Pole Room and its phenomenal teachers! First time to pole dancing and now 7 classes in I am enlivened by the grace and power pole.lovely (C.A. Greenlee), aerial_amy_maui, jbrlifemovement (Beth), and Amanda have shared! Pole.lovely teaches a more advanced sequencing class that is a MUST if you have some experience! All these incredibly talented, dedicated, and spirited wahine's are high class and top level at sharing what they love to do! Hands down one of the greatest quality studios on island. read more

Best workout ever!! Amanda is Amazing!! You'll want to go back for more!! This class is so addicting. It's amazing how much strength you build after a few classes. She has a great stretching segment in the beginning of class that helps you warm up your body and perfects your form on the pole so you are comfortable. You gotta try it!! Size doesn't matter!!! read more

As a Christmas Present for myself, I signed up for the 6 week beginning pole series with Nalu. Nalu is a great instructor and walks you through the moves and really helps you to make sure you've got the technique down. She's also so sweet and encouraging and makes class feel like a fun and playful yet safe place to express yourself and find your own style through movement. In the 6 week series we learned a routine and a few tricks as well. I even learned how to successfully climb the pole! Nalu also teaches exotic pole classes that focus more on dance and personal style after you've learned the basics. I attended one of her twerkshop events too which was so much fun! I Highly recommend the pole classes and twerkshops! I'll be coming back for more classes, can't wait! Pole class would be so much fun for a girls night, bachelorette party, or just to build your self confidence. read more

I just took my first series of pole fitness and let me just tell you... It is AWESOME! it seriously worked muscles that I didn't even know I had. And 100% challenged my body and my mind. But C.A. Greenlee was so amazingly patient, inspiring, and supportive. She honestly sparked a passion in me and I can't wait to continue on my pole journey. C.A. is an amazing instructor and an overall amazing human being and I'm sad to see her leave The Pole Room. Thanks C.A. and The Pole Room for pushing the Mama out of her comfort zone and find a spark again. read more

The Pole Room - What a fun place to pole! Thank you Amanda! - Dance Studios Near Me - Wailuku, Hawaii

This space is very beautiful and I love that there are options to different poles to learn from there. I took a spin workshop with Pole.lovely and was so impressed. Being relatively new to this, I didn't know what to expect and thought it was nice that we got to try a little bit of everything from getting to the top of the pole, some doubles and then a little choreography at the end! Pole.lovely is a very knowledgeable and passionate instructor. She takes the time to make sure your form is correct and is very attentive. I learned so much and had so much fun with letting go and playing. I live in Kihei and will say it's definitely worth the drive!!! So thank ful we have this here on Maui! read more

Amanda is the best trainer she pushes but is safe which results in the best workouts. I call her the Jillian Michaels of Maui! She is versatile in what she offers from yoga , pilates, to pole and hard core circuit training. You know you have worked once you have finished a class with Amanda! I trained with her for 3 months, training for my first 1/2 marathon and lost 20 lbs and finished 3rd in my age group. So for a world class workout take one of her classes. Christine Q read more

Took pole dancing for the first time. First, wanted to do something adventurous, second, wanted a good workout, and lastly, had good yelp reviews. My friend and I decided to give it a shot and reading that Amanda was awesome we decided to take her class. The price was also great- $26 for 1.5 hour- first timers. The class started off with a great warmup routine that worked out your booty and your stretches. Did abs and arms afterwards... It was not easy. I thought, oh I'm pretty strong and flexible shouldn't be too much of a challenge.. It was challenging!! The woman who have been going there for quite some time we're beautiful and fluid with their movements. Their bodies were also toned! The instructor, Amanda, was not only hilariously entertaining, she was so helpful and encouraging and freaking sexy. This class is fun and not intimidating, it is challenging but get ready to embrace your inner sexy. read more

The pole room has a great variety of classes. And the amazing and supportive instructors keep me coming back 2-3 times a week! Amanda is hilarious and has a large repertoire of pole tricks up her sleeve for the mixed levels pole class. She's very knowledgeable about proper body mechanics. C.A. is super sweet and encouraging. Her positive attitude is infectious! I love the tricks and combos I learn in her spin pole class. Make sure you have taken at least 6 pole classes prior to signing up for spin pole. Amy is sassy and sexy and will have you feeling confident and bring you out of your shell in her beginner's pole series. The space is beautiful and equipped with everything you need. They even have knee pads to use for floor work. Absolutely love this studio! read more

I never thought I would take a pole class. A friend convinced me, and I was completely surprised! Not only do you get a fun challenging workout on the floor, you also get to dance on your own pole. I thought I would look silly and feel embarrassed, but Amanda made me feel at ease. I actually had fun, and got a good workout! If you're on the fence about trying pole, just bring a friend and you won't regret it:-) read more
