The food offered has an array of German dishes, your usual pub fare of burgers, salads, appetizers…read moreand desserts. The service is great and they are around to check to see what if you need drink and to check on the food. I like the potato pancakes, vegetarian pasta and the beet salad. The beet salad is amazing. Servers are wearing the old German dressing style. The interior ambience is similar to the traditional Old German Beef Halls. There are televisions to watch the sports games occurring. The exterior offers great covered outdoor dining options. Different entertainment is offered to offer the guests a variety of venues. I love when the German bands play and people dance on their benches. Check their website to see what entertainment is offered and make your reservations. We love going with a full table of people. Fun! Fun! Fun! This is also a great place to stop Bernie or after any Sabres games or baseball too.

This place is amazing. Gives German vibes off as soon as you enter. We were seated promptly but…read morethings were downhill from here. It took over 15 minutes before our server came around with water. She apologized because she had her tables but they gave her ours at last minute. She was sweet but definitely overwhelmed. It took another 20 minutes for our beverages. Again she kindly apologized. Our food took 25 minutes before the first one of us was served. When she was done with dinner, four more in our group got their dinners. Wisely they started eating . 20 more minutes later the rest of the group got their dinner...... the entire dinner was chaos. PS the food was not hot! We decided not to order dessert because it could be another hour. The server we don't believe was the issue. We made sure she was tipped well. Out of our group of nine, we agreed.... NEVER AGAIN. And we were so disappointed. On an upside note... the music was fantastic! Whoever manages this restaurant needs to go to Johnson and Wales for refresher classes.

We came for the Halloween movie night. It was a GREAT…read moreprice... $10 for a movie, a beer, a glass, and popcorn. However, there was no popcorn, so they gave us some free nacho appetizers instead to share amongst everyone participating. They played the movie outside on their patio with a projector and blow up screen, which I wish it was advertised ahead of time that it was outside, so that we could be more prepared for the chilly weather. It also would have been better if they had their fire pit on and/or the space heater for those unprepared folks like us. Not your average Nachos 9/10 The corn tortilla chips were amazing by themselves. The queso, I was very surprised to taste homemade beer cheese (I didn't look at the menu before), it was really good and a little went a long way on those chips. I just wish the chips at the bottom had a teeeeny bit more. The only other topping was some shredded cheese. Salsa and sour cream were on the side, the salsa was good also.

We loved that dogs are allowed on the patio, and met a very friendly retriever when we visited. I ordered the Let's Go Pils, which was cold, light, and tasty. My hubby ordered the small batch, dry hopped Foeder, which neither of us enjoyed. It was disappointing. This is a trendy, hip place with lots of beer selections.

Good but not great…read more The good: cute inside, employees were friendly. The cocktails were delish- had the watermelon mojito and it was fabulous. The octopus was delish and a good portion. The pana cotta and tarte was fantastic. The meh: some of the servers could be dressed more professionally for a "fine dining" restaurant. Everything was over salted. Significantly. There were several dishes we couldn't even finish. Our ribeye was well done (tragic) when we ordered med rare. The server spilled things several times on the table which he was very apologetic for but still.... Nothing was a wow which doesn't match the prices here, not to mention that you get solicited for cash from the people outside the door on the way out which makes it even less worth the drive. Kind of a miss.

There're tables outside, but the patio area is limited, so we sat inside. It is bright, vibrant and had the best vibe! Our server was friendly, professional and helpful. The food was fantastic! The portions are generous and the flavor outstanding! The menu is varied and we had a hard time choosing our meals... At one person with us had the Nashville hot chicken.Another person had the bright smith cheese steak and I chose the white pizza... ,we argued about whose meal was better!! I really want to go back because they have a brisket plate that looked so good that I was thinking of ordering it as well as the pizza. We each had half of a meal to take home with us, not because it wasn't delicious , but because it was so generously portioned.

We also got the meat street pizza which was fine. The low rating is mainly due to the prices because how much we paid and what we got was not equivalent at all. The dip was $16 and the pizza $26. Each should have been at least half of that. Overall it was disappointing and overpriced and we won't be returning.
