Served with a lovely sprinkling of chevre, the brussels sprouts are a solid choice. The star of the show, though, was my main. I got the kale and eggs with salmon added (for a $9 upcharge). It was a beautiful blend of kale, bacon, pistachios, squash, and raisins with two sunny side up eggs and the added seared salmon. It was fresh and oh-so-flavorful. I also ordered an old fashioned, Eureka Sour and the seasonal Farmers Market Sour between both nights and all drinks were well made and delicious. Between both nights my partner had the bacon jalapeño burger, the bone marrow burger, truffle cheese fries, and a couple different draft beers and an old fashioned. He loved everything he had, but would specifically recommend the truffle cheese fries and the bacon jalapeño burger. I ordered the Brisket Benedict and the Monte Cristo. The Benedict looked great when it arrived, but one poached egg was perfectly runny while the other was significantly overcooked with a mostly solid yolk. The brisket was dry, the collard greens underneath were dry, and there wasn't enough hollandaise to compensate. The breakfast potatoes were crispy and fine, but nothing memorable. The Monte Cristo was the biggest letdown. When I order a Monte Cristo, I expect something rich, savory, and indulgent. This version was made with bland white bread, the bacon was very soft, and the sandwich lacked the flavor and texture that make a Monte Cristo worth ordering. It looked better than it tasted. Service was pleasant, but no one checked on our table after the food arrived, despite the restaurant not being very busy. Had someone stopped by, I would have mentioned the overcooked egg. Overall, one good dish out of three isn't enough to make me want to return. Based on this visit, I'd give it 3 stars.

The Guaq tasted like it was from a package...blended super creamy, not at all like Guacamole that has been made fresh in-house....but I guess maybe? Also, the chips with something like this are almost always a thicker tortilla that's been fried fresh, where these were super thin chips that tasted like they came from a bag...just not good! I have never had a chip that thin that was a tortilla fried....you just can't roll them that thin... In a dish like this with tuna and other things a thin chip just breaks apart and can't hold up...which is why most places fry a regular tortilla for a dish like this! Overall, again this is a serious knock-off from the MN company! Upper income area, great layout, open kitchen, great atmosphere...but just a shell from what I have seen (look up Crave, Edina MN)...so far...I'll be back! KT
