Mailed a fragile package through PH for, firstly, an obscene amount of money. I chose PH due to the…read morefact it uses many differing courier companies for the best deal I could find. I had called my local Postmaster to inquire how to package this fragile parcel. He instructed me on what best practice would be, and I followed it to the letter. Mailed the package, and it arrived at its destination with a HOLE punched THROUGH the center of the package, contents completely destroyed. PH will not refund the cost of shipping because "my package was not professionally packaged." I guess I wasn't aware that to mail fragile parcels in the United States they now have to be professionally packaged? I wasn't even told my parcel needed to be professionally packaged, was not informed of a policy, or even hinted at that it wasn't packaged appropriately. No. PH 100% doesn't stand behind their own services of handling with care. Not even a long shot.

I had brought in my iPad to have a screen replaced in November. They had told me that if they had…read moreto order a screen that it may take a bit longer than normal and I said that was fine. After three weeks of not hearing anything I did receive a phone call and was told that while they replaced my screen they broke the center button and will have to order a new one. I said ok and after 4 weeks I hadn't heard anything and called and was told they were still waiting for the part. A week later I received a phone call letting me know that they had fried the mother board of my iPad and had to order a new iPad in to replace mine. A few days later I was called to let me know that my iPad arrived and was ready for pick up. They asked me where the Sim card was and I had left it in my old device that was damaged but it wasn't there any longer. When I arrived I was still charged for the screen repair of $200 dollars which I thought was a bit weird due to them taking two months to damage and replace the original but either way I paid it and left. I'm still puzzled where the Sim card went and why with my new device I never received a box with it just was handed it and walked out after paying. The customer service was not the best and the small town nice feeling was definitely not there. I worked with AT&T and will be getting a new sim card but as much as I like to shop local I won't be able to work with them again or even recommend them to anybody.

We looked up the Bitworks and went into Taylors Falls to see their shop. We were pleasantly surprised with the location and dropped off the desktop for repair. We had some work done and some other issues appeared when we got it home! I called and Riley and the owner of Bitworks worked to get it fixed. (A driver issue). Today it is fixed and working better than ever! Please give this business a try if you have ANY issues with your computers or phones. This is the 2nd time I took my computer into the Taylors Falls Bitworks store. The first time was…read morewonderful but since they moved across the street from their old location - they've gone down hill. I asked them to call me with an estimate before doing the work and they did not. I asked for an itemized receipt and the woman behind the desk treated me horribly for asking. I left a note for the technician to call me to tell me what he did and he has not called me back yet - that was 4 days ago. So far - the computer is running well but I'll be looking for another place to take my computer the next I need repairs.
