They have a little but of everything, but won't compete price wise with the big box stores for most things, or the place to get supplies for wiring your shop, that's not what "mom and pop" hardware stores are about, this is the place you are going to go when projects run into issues, like you should have bought a spare drill bit, or longer bolts, or your porcelain throne is running all night and you just don't want to drive 30 miles further round trip at 4pm on a Saturday when you know they will have the stuff and you won't have to walk half a mile in a mega-box-store to find what you need... As for the "help" well the other reviewer hit on something that is EVERYWHERE, you can't find good help, and the box stores are no better! I think the other reviewer has some anger issues... He didn't seem to like anywhere he went...

This place has good deals like any Menards but it's a bit different here than your Coon Rapids or other More updated ones. So this place is a little outdated for its checkout system (lanes) but they manage to make it work out just fine. They can move some serious lines very quickly and always seem to have people on standby for just that. They seem to manage the people very nicely because i've never once had a problem and my receipt pile from the last 3 months is about 2 inches thick squeezed together. I've gotten a lot of rebates back and will keep spending them on rebates or free after rebate items for a long time to keep me coming back. One con i can find about any Menards right now is the Mail-in rebate checks come back in a readable format for others to see and steal or use easily. I think there should be another security feature added somehow to clear that up. Keep up the good work !

A store where you could purchase one nail, or a kitchen towel, or a snow blower, or some candy for your kids. I realized I needed an ice scraper for my new car and the owner (I looked him up) told me he would go to the basement since the scrapers weren't up from the basement yet. I bought a reasonably price scraper with brush, a shorter one, and another one with a metal blade which is hard to find anymore. Stop in to see how small towns are still doing it up right.
