We purchased a new stove from this location and paid for install. The day the stove was delivered…read moreno one arrived to install it. When we called the store they told us they would fix the issues right away and have someone sent out... 20 min later the same delivery guys came back and apologized saying their boss told them they had to come back and try to install the stove even though they were not qualified to install a gas range. Surprise - they couldn't figure it out. Called the store again and after talking to 5 different people for 3+ hours they promised us we were set up to have a plumber come out and install the stove a week later ... again things happen no big deal. That week passes and who shows back up?!!! The same delivery team that can't do anything!! Another 3+ hours on the phone later we find out that they don't actually send instal teams to our area and we needed to go though home depot pros. All 8 people we talked to had no idea that was the case and kept promising that they were sending an instal team... 5 more min up front and someone could have told us they don't do installs in our area. We will never be purchasing appliances from Home Depot again

The so called customer service at HD is nonexistent. I purchased an Anderson Renewal combo…read morescreen/Storm door from them that proceeded to fall apart. I had to jump through countless hoops to just obtain the replacement parts for the repairs. The parts finally arrived. I contacted Anderson and HD inquiring about installation. Both informed me they did not have anyone to do repairs and did not have any responsibility to repair the door. In others words, after we get your money, you are on your own if the product breaks.

This place has a ton of landscape materials, a huge variety of choices. That's it. As a customer…read moreyou're on your own trying to navigate your way in this huge place. First of all the showroom is located waaaay at the back of the yard. This is where you need to start to find out the process for selecting and loading materials. TIP #1: Place showroom at the front near the entrance. I go in and stand in line in the showroom. When my turn comes I ask about prices of some things. The price is right there he tells me. Then the associate goes out to figure out where I was and find the price. He does not find the price either. But he has come back with a number and he opens one of several 3-ring binders to look it up. The associate next to him tells him it's not in any of those binders. It's in a sheaf of papers lying on the counter. Okay, so the price is $XX/ton. At this point I sigh in exasperation and ask him to translate it into sq feet ...This WHOLE process is repeated for the 3 other items of interest to me. TIP #2: Give customers purchase lists and pencils as they enter - a la Ikea - so they can write item numbers down as they wander around. Or have laminated cards by each palette that customers can pick up to bring into the showroom. This can save a ton (or sq ft) of time and consternation. FINAL TIP: Remember both your commercial and residential customers. Some of us need to buy things by the piece and sq ft.
