I told her I would be back by 4:30, which was when they closed. My errands took longer than expected. When I stopped back it was already 4:35 pm. I pulled on the business door, which was locked. I was so bummed that I hadn't made it back in time. As I was walking back to my car, the lady who had helped me came out of the business and said "I have your books ready!" I was so excited that they were done and that she had given me a few extra minutes to get back. The books looked great and the price was very reasonable. She was very friendly and made my life easier that day with her excellent customer service. She, I, and another lady who worked there chatted a bit while paying for my order. I loved the "hometown feel" of this place. They have earned my business and I will definitely be back!

Very glad I chose to go there as I got a great deal on a slightly used Hustler Raptor X. They are a small shop but have a decent selection of mowers in the showroom. They do not have sales staff so you speak directly with the owner (who is also the mechanic), and the parts counter person (they both know their stuff). They service what they sell and carry parts as well. Very happy with my purchase, and the great experience I had, highly recommend.

After three weeks of not hearing anything I did receive a phone call and was told that while they replaced my screen they broke the center button and will have to order a new one. I said ok and after 4 weeks I hadn't heard anything and called and was told they were still waiting for the part. A week later I received a phone call letting me know that they had fried the mother board of my iPad and had to order a new iPad in to replace mine. A few days later I was called to let me know that my iPad arrived and was ready for pick up. They asked me where the Sim card was and I had left it in my old device that was damaged but it wasn't there any longer. When I arrived I was still charged for the screen repair of $200 dollars which I thought was a bit weird due to them taking two months to damage and replace the original but either way I paid it and left. I'm still puzzled where the Sim card went and why with my new device I never received a box with it just was handed it and walked out after paying. The customer service was not the best and the small town nice feeling was definitely not there. I worked with AT&T and will be getting a new sim card but as much as I like to shop local I won't be able to work with them again or even recommend them to anybody.

However, in the last week, our son took one of the mowers that we had purchased there in to get analyzed for blades not engaging. Service slip stated to check out and to call before doing any work. There was a throttle cable replaced without authorization and then stated maybe the carburetor needed to be replaced. Son had already put on a new carburetor. Asked if the original problem had been checked out - No, blades still didn't engage. The mower was returned with the new throttle cable removed, a new hole in the deck for some reason and a swing arm on the mower broken. And - no answer to mower problem. We will no longer be doing any business at Boyd's.
