This is like our little home course and we love it! Super pretty and kept up really well. Only problem we have run into is some guys in a league being jerks about the size of my group. (Had 5 people but only 4 people playing in our group so the guy started yelling at us all while we played faster than regular pace) Will be back but hopefully we don't run into this issue again. read more

For the past four years I've been visiting from VA and I love this course, their friendly staff, the food/bar. I golf at Fairways 2 to 4 times during my annual visits. Unfortunately it only takes one bad apple to ruin the basket. 4 July we arrived before the course opened 90 min before our tee time, Mitch seemed overwhelmed/inexperienced/unhappy to handle our group of 24 trickling in so early in the morning. Couldn't understand why he didn't want to give us any carts at first, but he explained it's because fairways might run out of carts. We needed 12 carts, and I'm sure fairways can handle our group of full paying golf cart customers, unless the majority of their carts are broken or Mitch is selectively giving carts to other customers for later tee times.....still unacceptable. Later near the turn Mitch complained that our group of 24 were playing slow, because our group hadn't made the turn in 2 hours. Our first two flights were on holes 10 and 11 (already through the turn) and being slowed down by golfers not in our group. Mitch is probably not a golfer, because he doesn't understand you cannot use the two hour clock for the entire 24 golfers to complete the turn. Each flight gets two hours to finish the front nine, additionally our entire first flight can only move as fast as the group in front of them. Our group purchased an extra cart and had our own cart girl to heavily purchase food/drinks for the group. She also talked to the group of friendly golfers in front and behind us. They didn't complain about our pace of play so we know it was only Mitch just giving us a hard time.....totally childish and unnecessary. With so many beautiful courses in Spokane, I won't be back to Fairways next year, but I'm sure Mitch would laugh with his I could care less attitude. read more

Currently 1pm on a Saturday and no one's here and Caleb who I assume is the manager... is out here harassing us and we haven't even teed off yet. We paid for back to back tee times so we can play a scramble with our friends and this Karen of a human being is following us around the course making sure we don't join groups. listen I get it if it was busy but there are 0 people on the course. Makes a lot of sense because this place is actually god awful and the last option anyone should have if in the area. So please, reconsider playing anywhere else, bad staff (mostly Caleb), 9 hole, looks really bad in prime time season, and I don't even know how I put myself in this position to meet this Caleb guy but... Caleb, if that's your name, I hope someone who sees this that can fire you strongly reconsiders letting you stay. you are a stain on the golf community and I just hope because of my experience you arnt allowed to ruin anyone else's day. read more

Today is July 4, 2021, this is our 4th year of a group of us playing. Every year our group continues to grow, this year we had 24, i.e. 6 teams. The group included people as far as the East Coast, local miltary veterans, and prominent professionals. We started showing up at 7:15 for a tee time of 8:30, 8:40, 8:50 etc. From the beginning at 7:15, "Mitch" checked us in and was rude to all of us, he acted like we shouldn't be here and we were bothering him. This attitude lasted the entire day. In addition to golfing, we patroned the bar very heavily, thank goodness that "Cam" treated us really well. We thought it would help if we had one individual come and do the purchase of beverages, thinking it would make things easier, which was myself, but apparently "Mitch" was not happy about this. He complained we were going to slow and commented that it was a "public course". I thought "wow, so aren't we the public? Everyone had tee times, and we had this on the books for a while now" This isn't even the worst of it, when we came off the course he had already shut down the grill. So all of us, and all the players behind us were unable to purchase food. He didn't seem to care, it was a "too bad" attitude and "oh well there is nothing he can do". He blamed management and said we weren't on the books, but since we know the management we knew that wasn't true. Very frustrated, that he obviously doesn't care about his customers and the golfing experience. He was in hurry to get out of there by 3:00, and we watched him walking to his car smiling at 2:35. I highly recommend Fairways assess "Mitch's" performance and consider letting him go, he doesn't add to their team, he takes away from it, which is why I am giving a 3 rating. read more

Club house staff are friendly and there is food and drinks/ soda, beer, hard A. Fairways is a nice course and has pretty fast greens in summer time. Open fairways wont get you into to much trouble. Some challenging over water shots on back nine to humble you if your shooting par! Not to crowed like some of the courses in city and county. Putting green and driving range are adequate. Maybe the best deal for golf around Spokane. Greens fees are resonable and still have a few bucks left for a cold one. In response to slow play. Everyone starts as a beginner. I myself have days where I feel like one. It's part of the game, Hackers are here to stay. read more

Oh boy, where to start with this. Been a month or so since playing this course. We used golfnow and I would actually pay not to have used it! The start at check in! OMG it took forever, 20+ minutes, but to top it off the bar was not open yet and no food available and it was 11:15am. We were backed up pretty good on tee boxes so my friend and I teamed up with a group of two ahead of us. One a realtor in the area, other guy super nice. The course itself is very easy and not worth paying a premium by any means.. I am a 6 handicap and was +1 after nine. For 9 holes we had waited on every single shot from the tee and the fairway! At the turn, we grab some food and water and started playing the bit quirky back nine. Some blind shots, weird layups await you. Different but ok once you figure it out. We were at 12 and seriously it is one goofy par 5 and after finishing up notice the two groups ahead of us...QUIT or were eaten by the golf course lochness monster!! We tee off on the par 3 13th and here comes a guy in a cart ranting about how we have the course backed up. I stated that until this immediate second we had waited every single shot . and it appears golfers gave up and quit ahead of us ! He goes thats not right, please pick it up. Well ,where did they go?...had to be that damn monster!! By 17 we are now 1 and half holes ahead of group behind us. But here comes the moron groundskeeper. He goes and I quote "you guys need to get off the course or pick it up NOW, there is no one ahead of you, and I saw you guys playing and not one of you are good enough to play from the back tees." Since I was still only one over and since all the others in my group were playing bogey or better golf we took exception to this morons comments. We stated again, hey bud the group behind us hasn't even teed off on 16, he goes "thats not our course policy". Well what the hell is your policy Fairways? Bunch of nit wits. We finished up 18 with a time of play of 3 hrs and 52 minutes. Considering we waited for shots on our first 12 holes that was pretty good I thought. I shot a 74 and would love to play the rude groundskeeper any day. I , nor anyone in our group, have ever been talked to like these jerks did in the 40 years I have played golf. The other three in our group wanted to go blast the pro shop, but I just left and said never again. I will gladly play where my business is appreciated and I am not harassed by incompetent workers. Other notes: their driving range literally litters two fairways with balls. Be on the lookout for errant shots. We had 100 + balls on the 18th hole alone. The greens...MEH......AVOID read more

Good prices, but terrible pace of play ruins an already average experience. Partner and I had a cart and set up to play 18 holes. It took us nearly 5 hours just to get through 11 holes. People behind us had enough time to replay holes they had just done. No Grounds Marshall. In the past we've asked clubhouse about slow pace of play, and we were told it was just normal. Not this day- we finally gave up and packed it in at Hole 12. Golf should never take this long. This is a decent beginner's golf course, but be weary of slow pace of play that will absolutely hurt your experience. Give yourself plenty of time to complete a round - regardless of experience or if you have a cart or not. read more

Horrible experience golfing today!! Our tee time was 12:07 and we didn't tee off until 12:30! It took 5 and a half hours to do a round of golf! They schedule their tee times SO close together that we waited on every single hole with the groups both ahead of us and behind us. I have never had such a terrible experience in my life! Don't waste your time, they are not professional here. Too bad too because the course itself is actually very beautiful. read more

Super nice people here, the locals golfers are very nice. The golf course is in very good shape, the fairways are like carpet and the greens are rolling smooth. The range is decent, not very much shade on hot days on the course. Over all I like it a lot, front 9 is straight forward and back 9 is a little more tricky but fun if u like risk reward holes. read more

Play is way too slow way too many bad golfers and they just let him come out there with no tee times and they set up tee times but they don't honor them unless they're really really busy but there always are people out there everywhere it's frustrating when I want to go out there and play a good round of golf and I have to take 6 hours to play 18 holes and my golf cart dies it's just kind of crazy not running very well nobody ever in the Pro Shop is willing to help they're just sitting there talking and talking and talking to any young people not caring about the people they're helping so I don't understand that Golf Course itself is decent for the price but anywhere golf carts are stupid expensive I made 12 bucks per person for a golf cart that's ridiculous id id I've been playing golf my whole life in an urban to a slower Golf Course but overall since I gave it three stars obviously I played there a lot and I like I like the golf course and they're making major improvements out there too so that's good anyway that's me thank you very much read more

I love the fairways!!! First of all the food is delicious! It's way better then what you would expect to get from a gold course. The course is lots of fun to play and well maintained. I have had a tournament out there the past 2 years and and coming back this year for another round and probably for many years to come! The staff are extremely nice, especially in dealing with me and a large group. It's a great course for beginners and avid golfers alike, we have a wide range of skill levels in our tourney and everyone was happy and had a great time. I definitely recommend this course, two thumbs up!!!! read more

I hadn't played this golf course in about six years. It has changed a ton since then,it used to be brown, hard and wet, if that's possible.. Now it is very green with natural grass areas surrounding the holes. Great greens and fairways. The price was right and my round was fast. Definitely going back. read more
