I drove from over an hour away to drop my son off at Soccer in Spokane. I did a little research to see if there was a course with a driving range anywhere near the soccer fields. Liberty Lake came up and was only 25 minutes away. I arrived @ 6:30 and walked into the club house to inquire where I purchase balls for the range. I asked the young man where I get the range balls, and he replied "here, but we close the range @ 6:00 on Mondays and Thursdays for cleaning." Now, I'm not sure what that meant, but that sort of information would be helpful on a website(I did not find it anywhere, and if it's there I will be happy to submit another review owning up to my error. I give everyone 1 time to earn my business.

Afterwards he was chirping to us about how if we wanted to screw around we should go to a different course. It's a 20 dollar public course pal let's get off our high horse. Please never come here. My son and I were driving up to Spokane and stopped in Couer d'Alene for a few house to check out…read morethe town. Being a pretty nice day outside we thought to kill an hour at a local outdoor mini golf course. We found this one on Yelp and gave it a try. It was not a great sign when I drove right by it and didn't see it...because the plot of land it's on is tiny, like this was someone's backyard and not a commercial plot. We paid our $7 each and picked out our golf balls. The course and holes are tiny. Each hole is only about 20 ft long and about 6 ft wide. There's typically one barrier or decoration on each hole to avoid. Most shots you have to stand outside the boundary of the hole to putt because it's so narrow. The worst part was...the green don't roll true at all. There's little breaks and movement like there's invisible pinball bumpers impacting your ball the whole time. There's very little skill involved here. Our favorite hole was one where you had to make it in or the ball would roll all the way back down and off the green every time. And with the random nature of each putt, we each tried 8 or so times and then just picked up and moved on. One of the few nice things were the porcelain creatures and decorations around. It added a little bit of a fun element. The trees and shade in certain spots was also nice so the sun isn't beating down on you the whole time. I was on the border of giving this 2 stars but decided 3 stars is fair for those who don't care about their score or getting rewarded for hitting good putts. It's just decent enough that you can still get some enjoyment out here. Bonus note, after the round we got a BOGO coupon for future rounds. there's also a chance to get a free game on the 19th hole machine.

Later I saw both of them in the bar together getting drunk. A friend reminded me that they have a dress code so I made sure to call ahead to make sure I was in compliance. I can't believe that this is a municipal golf course! Most city run courses are a little shabby,…read morepoorly maintained, with disgruntled staff. That was the opposite here. I was met with super friendly and kind staff who struck up conversations about everything. So helpful for this guy who came in from out of town. The golf carts are equipped with GPS trackers that provide you with the range to the pin from your location. So easier that running around trying to find the sprinkler head or fairway markings. The course was so well maintained, especially considering this is the end of summer. Greens were smooth and lush. Fairways were well watered and green. I always appreciate eastern Washington golf courses that play links style, so I don't lose my ball too much thanks to my wicked slice. Oh and no water hazards! So appreciate that. Beautiful scenery in a peaceful setting. I forget which hole it was on the back nine, where you're looking down into Spokane. The other highlight was running into a group of wild turkeys. The animals, not my co workers. So amazing!
