The pizza is perfect! I ordered a kind of veggie one. Aww the cheese is stringy and perfect. The crust is crunchy baked to the perfect temp. I am using perfect a lot here so that should tell you something. The sauce is not over bearing or super tangy. Perfect amount of veggies. Extra spices, Parmesan cheese salt pepper, chili pepper and hot sauces. Are on the table for you. The young lady who took my order was friendly and dressed for the job. I give her ten stars. Ah, the "The Pizza Place" is without a doubt the cleanest friendliest pizza parlor I have ever been in. The music playing is just the volume. Super spacious. Bathrooms super clean. 4.5 stars to this pizza place! Amazing owner who definitely knows how to manage a large restaurant. The staff is friendly, helpful and very attentive (we were seating at the bar area). This place is large (an old, restored building), clean and offers really amazing pizza...but not only! Their wings are awesome as they are not deep fried by baked and lightly seasoned/sauced. I didn't expect to find this quality place in Lusk. A huge plus for the vegetarian pizza (even though they really should warn their customers there is pineapple in it). Beautiful decor and huge inside. Friendly staff. We came here right when they opened so it was empty. What a pleasant surprise in the small town of Lusk, WY. The place smelled awesome, deep dish combo pizza was very good. Nice looking menu too. I will say it took a long time to get the pizza considering we are alone in there. We've eaten here many times but can't again. While in line we saw two girls drinking and eating at the cook station. The red haired one picked her nose several times. I had some hesitancy ordering but we were limited for time. Ordered the chicken ricotta pizza and it was very undercooked. I have had it several times before and it was was great. This time inedible. I asked one of the guys to recook it. It was still not edible. We had to ask six times for our dessert pizza. It was fine. Service and cashier were kind and competent but we can't overlook the sanitary conditions and the poor flavor of the pizza. read more

I found this place impressive! It is spacious and clean. I ordered breadsticks and tomato sauce, an 8" hand-tossed pizza(you pick up to 5 ingredients and the sauce), plus an 8" dessert pizza(several options). You pay for your selections when you order them at the counter and the staff will bring it out to your table when ready. This is a wonderful restaurant for a small town like Lusk. read more

This is by far our favorite pizza place. We stopped here once on a road trip a few years back and were pleasantly surprised how delicious it was. This is my "go to place" for a vegetarian meal while stopping in Lusk to Supercharge our Tesla. The crust is great, sauce is tasty, we love adding the fresh garlic. The atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable. We'd come here more often if it was closer to where we live. We had their veggie (pick five toppings) with spinach, mushrooms, fresh whole clove garlic, green olives, and bell pepper. Their hand tossed crust holds up with all of those toppings generously applies so that you can actually pick up a slice and eat it single handed without folding it over. The side salad comes with a choice of a variety of tasty dressings. My favorite is Bleu Cheese. They serve a variety of Wyoming brews on tap. read more

Boooo! We stopped specifically in Lusk (driving from Utah to Minnesota) to get pizza from here. They close at 9:00. It is 8:20 and they won't take an order from us. Crazy. We were really happy The Pizza Place had reopened because we'd seen online that some of the restaurant/bars in town are really smoky. This place had a very clean atmosphere, really nice folks working there, and delicious pizza and salads. We thought the prices were really reasonable too. This is extremely good pizza! We expected decent pizza after reading the review. We were blown away. Ordered to go after arriving in Lusk for the night on our way south for the winter. Order taker was friendly, the pizza and salad was ready when we arrived. This was some of the best pizza we have had in a very long time. The salad was huge! Friendly cashier, even friendly folks in line. Couldn't ask for better. They seemed to have a decent selection of craft beer also (to go so we didn't try any). If you are ever in Lusk you have to try this place. And if you live in Lusk, I don't see how you can't get the pizza here at least once a week! read more

Needed to eat on our way through to Casper and this place was amazing!! Food was absolutely incredible!! We got the House Special and it was so simple, yet so good! This is by FAR the best pizza/calzones in Wyoming (not that that's saying much, mind you) and it is in the little town of Lusk of all places! I try to stop here and eat any time I am driving through Lusk (which isn't often enough), and I am even tempted on occasion to make a special trip JUST for the pizza! When the rest of Wyoming is flooded with the useless combination of cardboard and ketchup provided by Pizza Hut and Dominoes, it's almost unfair that Lusk gets this place all to itself! There is also a nice little coffee shop attached to the pizza place which is great to grab a drink on your way out the door. If you happen to be driving through Lusk, do yourself a favor and stop for pizza at the Pizza Place! read more
