Not usually one for that kind of pizza but this is the best version of it I've ever had.

It's Tuesday 5/21/24. My husband picked us up a family size delight pizza (Chicken, bacon,…read moreartichoke). He wasn't aware of the Tuesday large $10.00 deal, and none of the employees told him about it. I personally think if there is a special going on, the employees should share it with their customers. I am pretty sure he would have picked up another pizza for us to snack on. He spent $20.00 plus dollars on one pizza, which is OK, he wasn't the wiser. My problem is that our pizza didn't have half the toppings with was supposed to. I found about 1 1/2 artichokes on the whole pizza - and not even whole pieces, just slivers. There wasn't much chicken or bacon either. I was just happy my hubby brought home something we haven't had in awhile and it was pretty disappointing.

A tostada was taking longer so asked us to pull around the building and they would bring it out. There wasn't a designated area so we just parked near the front door. Looking in the bag with the other food, there was no sauce and they also didn't give us the drinks we ordered. Pulled into the drive thru line again and when we got to the window again eventually we got the over zealous and inept order taker and said we hadn't gotten sauce or drinks. She acknowledged with surprise that the drinks were still sitting there and parceled sauce packets like they were liquid gold. No apology for screwing up the order etc. skip this location unless you want to pay for food or drinks you won't get unless you drive thru twice.... just sayin'

If you're a fan of food that tastes like it's practicing social distancing from seasoning, congratulations--you've found your soulmate. We walked in and were told to seat ourselves, which felt a little like being released into a corn maze. The restaurant is chopped into secret rooms you can't see from the entrance, so after poking my head around like a confused meerkat, we gave up and parked ourselves by the front door. It was busy, though I suspect that's due to long-standing loyalty and not a sudden outbreak of taste buds. The waiter greeted us with, "Do you need menus?" No sir, we brought our own crystal ball. Yes, we need menus--we've never been here. The options included tacos, burritos, tostadas, and--mysteriously--a deep-fried hotdog, which felt like it wandered in from a county fair and refused to leave. We ordered the pork chili smothered burritos. When mine arrived, I finished it in under eight bites--new personal record. For $6 I expected a burrito, not a participation trophy. They've clearly built a devoted following of people who enjoy food on mute, so they probably won't notice us slipping away. We wish them well--and if you enjoy culinary adventures in the land of bland, this might be your happy place.
