We also got onion rings, garlic sauté potatoes and cheesy garlic bread (we may look normal weight but secretly fat inside lol). We ate nearly every bite as even we fatties couldn't finish that colossus meal.. the staff were quite attentive and polite during our visit and couldn't have been nicer. The only thing I can fault is the decor which is old and dated but with food that tasty who cares! as long as I can eat food that delicious every visit I'm a happy customer we will most definitely be back as the bill was under £40!! For starters I had the mussels in a creamy sauce served with a crispy roll and butter. This is normally one of my favourite starters but on this occasion they were bland and lacked flavour. Scoffed them anyway as I was hungry. One other girl had the mussels too and she felt the same as me. Other starters ordered were the filo prawns and potato boats with chilli, they seemed to go down well. For my mains I had the fillet steak served on a bed of sautéed mushrooms and prawns, side order of garlic potatoes and some veg. The steak was cooked to perfection, tender and juicy. The rest got pizzas and they looked amazing. We learnt from our previous visit not to order so much food as the portion sizes are big. As it was one of the girls birthdays we brought some cupcakes with us and the staff were more than happy to put candles in them and help us celebrate. The pizzas here are great - very authentic and extremely filling. My favourite though, is the Pasta Carbonara. The restaurant is BYOB, so you can enjoy your own wine or beer to compliment your food. One small thing I can think of that would be a big help to customers, is if the staff could show parties to their table instead of telling them which number to go to. If you are seated downstairs it is easy to find where you are supposed to be, but the upstairs is like a bit of a maze and it can be hard to find the table number they have sent you to.

They also have call buttons on each table allowing you to summons your waiter/waitress of you need them. The food is always good, with the breakfasts being pretty amazing. The menu is a little large so there is plenty to choose from. Prices are very reasonable and a kids menu is available too.

The pizza was just the right thickness, not too doughy and not too thin either - they were very generous with the cheese, just the way I like it.
