Update: Here for my father in laws Dodge Caravan 1999. For 5 quarts of conventional oil it's $30 (thirty). They took care of me here. Took my 2005 Corolla and needed an oil change and new transmission fluid. The nice guys here took care of everything fast and easy, took maybe 20 mins or less. After everything I paid only 100 for both transmission and oil change. Super great price. Looked around and this was the best place to go. Thanks to all the guys in this shop! Will be coming back here from now on for all my cars. read more

Shady place.....they stand around speaking another language. Did not do a thorough ck on filters, or top ups. Refused to tell me type of oil they were using. Expensive, they spilled oil all inside my chassis that I can smell burning off! Second time I have been here, shame on me! I do not trust them!! read more

Came here for a quick oil change turned into a 30 minute oil change and then they recommended to change the cabin air filter as it was dirty which is still fine until I left and found out the condition of my glove compartment where the air filter is see pictures who ever changed it didn't put the filter door back and and slammed the glove compartment door shut with what looks like a dirty foot print on it...and broke one of the plastic clips to attach the glove compartment to. If you care for your car steer clear of here it use to be good until the new management. Think I'll head to Walmart for $50.00 for a better job. Oh and they didn't top any fluids or do any other service that comes with a standard oil change, pretty sloppy work and overpriced. Will leave this up and attempt to communicate with owners if they'll make it right or not. read more

Hands down the best oil change place ever! Omg I can't begin to tell you how professional and kind these people are. I started panicking when I saw the oil light on and I guess I forgot to do my oil change! My brother recommended this place since most dealers send their used cars here for oil changes and other services. I was treated with respect and I totally felt comfortable. Usually as a women when you go to places like this you tend to get a unwanted fan club. I honestly felt so comfortable here. The owner was there and all the employees were super kind. Quick service and reasonable price, I started going to this place based on another mechanic's recommendation and I was not disappointed. The owner is courteous and professional and the service price is very reasonable. I went to another mechanic in Fremont to change oil and he told me I need to change the whole oil pan due to a problem with the screw. He quoted me $420 for the job and said he does not have the time that day. I am glad he sent me back because when I found the pit stop they solved the problem for $80. A few days later I took my other car for oil change and I received the same excellent service and rates. read more

Nice people. I arrived at 10:30am and was in and out in 30 minutes. He showed me the oil stick to confirm that my oil was brand new and clean. Also showed me my old oil filter and topped off all my fluids and cleaned my air filter. Great service from a family owned business. read more

I came here because it was so highly reviewed, but was underwhelmed. Oil change was fine, normal kinda high price for synthetic oil change ($75 after 10% off). Took about 20 minutes all in all so plenty of places are quic However, I specifically asked for air in my tires and windshield wiper fluid when i pulled in, which most oil & lube places do automatically. After I left, I realized I had received no wiper fluid at all, and my back tire was still 4 psi under. Not impressed, probably won't return. read more

Came her for a smog due to the the sign says star smog 2000 newer vehicle$24.95 and $8.25 for cert. Pull up and found out smog tech was not there but the guy called and he came in minutes, he told me a star smog is $79.95, wow the highest I've seen sound like he's trying to over charge. The avg. smog is $40 and I told him the station down the street is charging $40 he quickly said I will do it for the same price. As you know the smog for a 2000 newer vehicle takes 10 minutes. This oil change place been here for a long time, little mom and pop shop. Looks like a hole in the wall and back yard mechanics. I guess you can bargain with them, I left feeling like they try to test me to see how much they can charge me, don't think I will return there again. Note can't use the 19% off on smog check. read more

Second time coming here and I left satisfied again. There were two cars in front of me and they got my car done after 30mins from the time I dropped it off. Staff was very nice. I drive an SUV Mercedes so my oil changes are expensive but this is the cheapest price I've ever paid. It's a bit tricky to find but you can walk around to nearby restaurants and shops while you wait. Will definitely come back again next year :) read more

Hameed and his gang are nice gentlemen who know what they are doing. I saw their technician fixing good quality cars (bmws,Lexus, ect) and my 2012 prius. There are actually like 4 different auto repair shops on that street within close walking distance but the 10 min pit stop gave me the best price and the nicest customer service. It's a small place but they are efficient and friendly. They won't make you feel you uncomfortable and they'll help you however way they can. 5 stars for sure! read more

If I could give less than one star, I would. DO NOT GO HERE. The day after I left this place my engine stalled out twice. This shop has cost me about $500 and an unknown amount of damage to my engine. These IDIOTS didn't replace the drain cap so my engine retained no oil. They wouldn't even pay for me to make sure my car was okay. Steve tried to do the right thing but was so incompetent that he seemed like he was taking advantage. Don't trust a word they say and if you have something done here then be sure to get it double checked elsewhere. read more

This place will do anything to get your money and they screwed up the services on my cars twice. First time my car was making noises because they (accidentally)poured oil all over my car engine. Second time they did an engine flush which can cause more damage to your car than provide any benefits. Bottom line go find another place to save you a bunch of headache. read more

Small corner shop filled with a group of great guys! I pulled in as a first time customer and they saw my vehicle right away. All of my questions were answered with generosity and compassion and I was even given a chair to sit in while I waited. Was good! Had a decent experience here. So they did a great and fast job with an oil change and a transmission oil change. I'm just gonna be honest, I absolutely hate most car repair/oil change places. I feel like I just tend to get stared at and talked down to being a girl. And I'm always worried people are trying to up charge me on things I don't really understand. I definitely felt like this at this place when I came for an oil change and they recommended a $110 dollar transmission oil change. But then again, I couldn't remember the last time I'd had one so I figured it was probably valid. One star off because I saw from other reviews people got a much better deal. When I complained a bit about the final charge, they took it down from around 150 to 130. Still expensive though. For a $23 oil change I'd come back, but I probably wouldn't get anything else here. Still on the look out for a mechanic in the Bay Area where I feel like I'm not getting ripped off, unnecessarily stared at, or talked down to. Anyone? read more

Fast? Yes. Good? Not in the slightest. Ignoring the hole in the wall location (doesn't indicate anything) and the people cooking food in the reception area (might indicate something), the end result of my oil change was a potential nightmare I managed to avoid by what I can only describe as luck. It doesn't matter that these guys were friendly and didn't even charge me for replacing the plug and crush washer that were fused together. I was charged for an engine flush that never really seemed to happen, so that's a big warning flag to not go. It pales in comparison to the other issue. They didn't screw in the new plug all the way. Over the course of the next month and a half I operated with my level as low as 2 quarts under by accident and had to add 3 quarts overall thinking that there was something wrong with my engine. That wasn't the case when I finally went down to change my oil and switch oil types. All I had to do was hand twist the plug, without using a socket/ratchet, and I was able to remove the plug and drain my oil. These guys caused me a lot of headaches that led to a CEL that scared the crap out of me two days before I went to get a smog certification. Do not use this place. Either change your oil yourself, or find yourself a more reputable shop. The rating is completely inaccurate to the service level. read more

Oil changes: - $30 for normal - $50 for synthetic blend - $70 for all synthetic Bit pricey I thought but still went ahead with it because I was already down there. Also the guy checked my air filter and transmission fluid and said the latter needed changing. I said that's weird because I had it changed at 5,000 miles previously. He said oh really and kinda muttered off. Definitely felt like they were just trying to get more from me because it had just been done. read more

I am super impressed and happy with the service at the "Pit Stop - Ten Minute Oil Change"! I came in only to get the oil change for my car and they noticed that I needed my transmission oil to be changed as well. Since I don't know much about cars, the gentleman (I believe the owner and I forgot to get his name) showed me the differences of how my car's oil transmission looked and how it is supposed to look; from my car it was super black while it's supposed to be this red color! Now that I had to get both changed the gentleman gave me a 10 dollar discount which I'm very happy about! I'm definitely going back to get my oil changed here again. Also, they do live up to their name - it was pretty quick, about a 15 to 20 minute service, and they helped me changed both car and transmission oil! Thank you all! read more

The family and I have been coming to Vince @ the Pit Stop 10 Minute Oil Change for years. I know, he's a bit weird and often talks to himself but he gets the job done! He also checks your tires, refills radiator, windshield fluid and lets you know if anything else needs replacing. He doesn't give you the whole sales pitch, which I like and he knows time is precious. You're out of there within 10 minutes tops. It is easy to pass this place up on the right hand side before the train tracks. read more
