I will say that I ended up cancelling my trip due to COVID-19 and tried to reach out multiple times to see if a waiver to the cancellation policy could be made (I don't care about the deposit - it was just an ask) if we rescheduled. Over a ten day period I called and left two voicemails, reached out online twice, sent a text message (their recommendation to receive faster service) and also had Hotels.com reach out to them without luck. On the 11th day Hotels.com finally received a response from them but I still haven't received a single returned phone call, text, online message, etc. from them. While I originally was hoping to book again in the future (location is super convenient and I also know people who have stayed here in the past and had a wonderful visit) it seems as though response rates are terrible this summer (I'm not the only person who has had an issue) and if an actual emergency/issue had arisen during a trip I have valid concerns regarding whether anyone would actually respond to any phone calls. As a property on Nantucket my only recommendation is to do better. Return phone calls. Return messages. Do better. This customer service experience was abysmal - like I said, I don't care about the deposit and it doesn't have anything to do with this review. Cristhian's hospitality made our trip one that we will never forget. He always went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and went out of his way to get us something if the hotel didn't have it. I don't think I've ever had better hospitality - the four seasons has nothing on Cristhian!! However, if you are still exploring the island after check out, you can leave your luggage at the inn. There is unfortunately no parking included, but there is street parking outside the inn.

There is a Keurig in your room but the common area right when you walk in, has a reading area, dining table, Keurig, selection of teas and coffee, and the trail mix. They have other locations too so I definitely want to stay at this place again.

We knew that being in town would involve some evening noise. We could hear the music and yelling and partying from the nearby bar from both bedrooms (windows closed and air conditioning on). The room with the twin beds also had a loud generator like noise go off a few times throughout the night (noise sounded like it was coming from unit next door or below and it literally vibrated the walls. While all the local bar noises quieted down once everything closed for the night...we were woken up pretty early the next morning by presumably the same bar emptying their glass bottles (very large quantity) at around 630am the next morning. Quality of sleep in this particular cottage was poor. Other than that, we were very pleased with the accommodations and appreciated its central location to the shops, restaurants and ferry.

Also - that leaves no option for the tea lovers as that is not provided. Seems like a small thing but for the premium pricing it is surprising.
