We hosted a clam bake on the waterfront veranda for our welcome dinner, and it was a hit! The meeting room was well equipped for all our needs as well. The location was perfect for people to walk into town for after dinner drinks and socialization. The rooms are comfortable and clean, and throughout the property there are various areas to sit and be comfortable. The hotel has a top notch service team & the view and location is ideal for an event. If you can't stay here, then I would definitely recommend having dinner at the restaurant on site Brant Point Grill. Excellent drinks and food!

Not only were we able to get a cottage here last minute but at the only reasonable price from everywhere we looked. The rooms were so comfortable and beautiful and changed our night from a nightmare to a forever memory. More than the space, the hospitality I experienced here from every staff member was the most genuinely kind, calm, and compassionate care that helped put me at ease in an otherwise stressful situation. Thank you to everyone at the white elephant I will be forever grateful.

Brant Point is located on the top floor (3rd floor) of the Inn. The stairs leading to this room are VERY steep so please keep this in mind when booking. You will have to carry your bags too. The room itself is tastefully decorated and the bathroom is newly renovated. The view is good but not great. You can see the harbor but a few other homes & trees obstruct a lot of the view. The bathroom is fantastic! We loved the rain shower head and the LED mirror. It has ample room and plenty of storage. They provide an iron, ironing board and hairdryer in the room along with basic toiletries. Breakfast is served daily. You must sign up via text the evening before. They provide you with a link and you make your selections from there. You can take the tray back to your room, eat in the dining room or on the patio. Coffee, hot tea , water and fruit are available all day in the dining room. Fresh baked cookies are also put out in the late afternoon. The Inn is centrally located and all the shops and restaurants are within walking distance. We really enjoyed strolling the beautiful streets of Nantucket. It is also very close to the ferry and Whaling Museum. You can rent bikes and Jeeps near by too. We walked to Brandt Point lighthouse - it was not far at all. We enjoyed our time in Nantucket and would definitely recommend The Brass Lantern Inn. It was our first time staying at a bed and breakfast and we couldn't have been more pleased! The grounds are nice, the rooms are clean and well appointed! We highly recommend getting a Jeep to explore the whole island and all of the lighthouses! Madaket Beach was an amazing place to catch the beautiful sunset!

As a couple visiting in Nantucket for the first time, we could not have picked a better place to…read morestay than the Water's Edge cottage at Harborview Nantucket. It was a less than 10 minute walk from the ferry and incredibly easy to walk to downtown, but also insulated from the hustle and bustle. When we were in the cottage, we might as well have been on the other side of the island, it was so peaceful. The kitchen is well equipped with good quality pots and pans, coffeemaker, etc., so we easily made breakfast and lunch at home each day. The cottage is cute and right on the beach of the harbor. I loved looking out at the water's edge from our bed. The entire property is gorgeous with a well manicured lawn, hydrangeas, and even a cute little bunny that would come out each evening to munch on grass. Robert, the on-site point-of-contact, was super responsive, friendly, and helpful. They also had chairs to take to the beach and in-unit laundry. I would go back in a heartbeat and absolutely loved the time we spent there!

Best place to stay on the island…read more This is our 2nd summer staying in the Hermit Crab cottage. Great location and wonderful management team on property. Can't say enough good things about Harborview. Great location, right in town. They pick you up at the airport; stock your fridge with Cisco Brewery beer and wine; super new modern furniture with professional Bosch appliances. They have a small beach with adirondack chairs on the harbor and it is lovely to sit there and have some wine. Morag and Matt make reservations at the hard to get into restaurants and we have grown to really love them. Highly recommend Harborview. See you next summer!

It was almost like renting our own little nantucket cottage with a private entrance to our suite from the neighborhood outside. The service was impeccable as well as all the little, decadent, included perks. Every morning there are amazing pastries in the reception area. I got an assortment of danishes, croissants, and muffins thinking to just sample a bit. I ate it ALL. Each room gets their own drip coffee and nespresso machine. In the afternoons they set out cookies, and in the early evenings are wine and cheese. There are also complimentary bicycles, which allowed me the chance to check out quite a few of the local beaches and lighthouses nearby. One afternoon we went to the pool and enjoyed our private cabana and snacks, drinks, and even fresh fruit! They even provided us with sunscreen and signed copies of nantucket-y beach reads. Seriously, they've thought of everything. Such a relaxing vacation and I hope to come back one day!
