We ended up ordering the Truffle Fries, the Spicy Rigatoni Vodka pasta, the Korean Chicken, and the Vodka Pie. The truffle fries were crisp and plentiful. We added sausage to the Spicy Rigatoni Vodka pasta, and it was delicious paired with the pizza. The Korean Chicken were bite sized and flavourful as well. However, The vodka Pie haunts me in my dreams. I think I crave this pizza about every week. The pizza at King Taps has one of the best crusts I've ever had, and the vodka sauce is to die for. Initially it was slow service but it picked up shortly. We had several different servers so no single server is tagged here. I will say that it's a hip, nicely equipped restaurant. We decided to do an appie meal. We ordered Sichuan Chicken lettuce wraps ($25.50)..this was the best of the appies. The next was the Crab Dip ($20.75), it was hot but not overly tasty. 3rd was the Hot Chicken Bites with pickles ($16.00). They were ok but not hot in temp enough. The final was the Chili Citrus Calamari ($21.25). This was the worse of the dishes. Simply put, it was cold. The server removed this from our bill. In summary...I wouldn't go out of my way again to go here but given all things being equal, the servers were very good. As a final note...the bathroom was very clean & well maintained.

Obviously we both had to order the Birdbath Martini ("Quill Gin, House Vermouth Blend, House Orange Bitters, Lemon Oil, Olives and Pickled Onions"). And yeah, it's incredible. The tableside preparation was certainly an impressive sight, and the taste of the drink was superb. Definitely one of the best martinis in the city. For my main, I went with the Bay Street ("shaved prime rib, tobacco onion, horseradish aioli, grilled baguette, frites") and after an unusually long wait, the plate arrived to the table. I can't say I was super impressed. The meat is tender and flavorful, yes, but the bread is so plentiful and so crusty that it pretty much negated the sandwich's positive attributes. I ultimately wound up leaving most of the bread and eating the scant prime rib. The fries were quite tasty, at least. Far more problematic was the service. Our waiter was absent for much of our meal. Our water glasses were empty for most of our time in the restaurant, and he never showed up to ask us if we wanted another drink, which we certainly did. We each probably would've ordered a couple more cocktails had the guy not vanished. So yeah, the martini was indeed excellent. Everything else? Not so much.

For my Summerlicious menu, I started with the Tartare de Boeuf and Caviar. The filet mignon tartare was fresh and really smooth, with a nice balance of rich and savoury flavours. The price point is definitely on the higher end, so it is not somewhere I would personally visit for a casual dinner on a regular basis.
