Phoenix is a nice restaurant with many options but I came for a quick drink and to try the duck bacon wontons that my friend was raving about. We ordered two GINger beers, duck bacon wontons and an order of the stuffed mushrooms. GINger beers - one of them were made with Crown - peach flavor and the other was standard. I definitely liked my drink and it hit the spot for me. As a speciality cocktail I was really thrilled with the affordable pricing. The duck bacon wontons - I can not say I agree with the hype. The looks like empanadas rather than wontons and the flavors weren't there. Definitely tasted

This place is a better bar than restaurant. The drinks were good, but the food was not the best. However, there was a pianist that set the mood of the place and our waitress was extremely sweet.

This is a regular spot of mine. I usually sit at the bar with my spouse or friends because the interaction with the staff is stellar. Anthony and Amelia are two of the best bartenders here. You can tell them what you have a taste for or ask for recommendation and they do a great job at matching your likes to what they have. The food is great, I usually get the apps, so the duck bacon wontons and chicken tenders are two of my favorites. The cheesecakes are divine and different. The chef knows what she is doing. You have to try the peanut butter cheesecake. Its very good. The manager is also a delight, she is runs the place smoothly and great to talk to. I would definitely recommend, especially during happy hour. Try the martinis they are fantastic!

I had come here with high hopes after several suggestions. Overall however I was left mostly disappointed. Don't get me wrong some things were good others really not at all. I will just go through them Pros/Cons style so I can't break it down. They had a live piano player that was awesome even taking requests. The building is gorgeous inside and the decor is pretty hip. Overall I like the layout and they have a few different areas for parties or receptions. We came for a close friends birthday dinner as her and her other group rave about this joint. Even while at the establishment our friends were constantly talking about good things on the menu. Pros: The food overall was stellar, Garlic Shrimp pizza = amazing, the spinach & artichoke dip was one of the best I've had. The Phoenix branded Cosmopolitan was to die for (had that as a dessert beverage). It's worth it. Raspberry cheesecake made right on site.....you can't go wrong. All the steaks were fantastic. Cons: The service....perhaps a result of Covid staffing shortages, I don't know but 15+mins for a standard Capn n Diet....and it wasn't overly packed. A friend got the so called Buffalo chicken salad....''twas not Buffalo but dyed red chicken chunks with no "Buffalo" spice at all. The smell of the joint was rancid.....it smelled like the Davenport Water Treatment facility on south concord in august. Maybe they had a back up or something but let people know. Overall for the experience we had it wasn't worth the price. I personally hate waiting what I feel is exorbitant amounts of time for a drink, even a water refill. But overall the food does make up for it

The Phoenix is Davenports best kept secret! The Black and Bleu filet is delicious and my husband loves the fettuccine alfredo!

Kelly is the best bartender ever! The food was great, but the martinis were amazing! We will definitely be back for HQ trivia!

Very original food for the Quad Cities, and very tasty. Service can be a little slow at times, but it's worth the wait.

Had been excited to eat here and was really disappointed. Our server had too fast a pace and it…read morefelt like he was ready to be done with us as quick as we had been seated. The cheese curds were oil soaked and not fried properly. Most had no or little cheese in them again from improper frying. The crab dip was powerful fishy and the toast rounds were butter soaked... again more grease. My chicken dumpling soup was luke warm and any food served, especially a cream soup, cant be safely served not piping hot. The sourdough grilled toast with it was... again soaked in butter and thus inedible. Husband's chili was off tasting and again not piping hot. His sourdough was also swimming in butter. Super disappointing and won't bother to return again.

A staple in downtown Davenport, I finally had a chance to visit Me & Billy with a friend on my most…read morerecent visit to the city. While the meal itself was solid, the service experience left a little to be desired. To make a long story short, the hostess was not very friendly and there appeared to be a miscommunication in what level of service to expect when sitting at the bar. We were told we could order dinner there as well, but struggled for quite a while to get a menu or meal order in. It wasn't the end of the world, but it was uncomfy as I eventually had to return to the hostess and ask for a menu and help getting our order placed. Ordering simply wasn't a smooth experience - perhaps this would've been different had we been seated at a table, but again, we were told the bar was full-service. I fully acknowledge this could've been an off night and not the typical experience, but it was a little awkward. Otherwise, the meal was super solid. I ordered a mocktail (highly recommend, I love a good mocktail menu!), shared an appetizer, and opted for a burger as my entree, and everything was delicious. I would definitely visit again to try more of the menu.
