We got there pretty close to noon. Parking lot and dining rooms were pretty full, so that's a good sign. My wife had the app,e salad. Chicken was warm, which she likes and raspberry vinaigrette was good. She wished apples were cut into chunks instead of thinly sliced. I had the smoked turkey cheddar melt. I git it without lettuce and tomato so it was kind of dried. Added some mayo and that helped. For a grilled sandwich it wasn't greasy. I got the house made chips as a side and didn't care for them . They were overdone, I think, bit that did make them thin and crispy. They weren't very warm. Our server must have had too many tables, didn't see much of her. I have an office in Bettendorf that I work from a few times a month. Riverside Grille is super convenient -- just minutes from work and also on the way to the interstate home. (SCORE) Riverside Grille looks like a bank... because it was a bank. I adore that they repurposed it. When you come in you totally don't even realize it was anything but a sports bar-- but on the outside, goodness does it still give off bank vibes. ** OH AND THEY HAVE A PATIO, YA'LL -- a repurposed drive through! Super creative and well placed. I've been here a handful of times for lunch-- a few takeaways: - It's a happening place, it's always comfortably busy but never a wait. - The staff is super attentive and professional. - Pricing is on point. - Parking is a non-issue. - Beer selection is legit. - Come here to catch a game there are LOADS of tvs. I really, really like their buffalo chicken wrap. One word to describe this place: mediocre. The looks of the place from the outside suggest otherwise. Burger Patties taste frozen not fresh. The shape of them are perfectly round and thick. Wendy's burger beef taste better. Wife's cottage cheese had a weird mold-like taste. The side of fries was a fairly small portion and just meh. Service was unenthusiastic. This was the last stop before I leave out in the morning. Although it was raining hard I still came out to eat. The menu was pretty simple to understand. After looking the menu over I order the Ahi tuna sandwich. The ahi tuna sandwich was a bit too salty and had a fishy taste. Overall it was ok. The waitress service was really good though. Thinking of the trip home I also ordered a veggie wrap for the next day. Review on that coming tomorrow so stay tuned. I would recommend this place to eat but if you get the ahi tuna sandwich let them know to lay off the salt. read more

We came here about an hour before closing so it wasn't busy at all. They seated us quickly and our waitress Katie was very friendly and polite. Per our request she gave us her suggestion of ordering the crab cakes and they were delicious! I love crab cakes and they can be pretty dry but these were soo tasty! The sauce they put on top was delicious it's wasn't spicy but it did have a little kick. When I first saw them though I thought it was pretty small but they filled me up! They came with cole slaw but I substituted for French fries instead. My husband ordered the Ruben sandwich and he really enjoyed it ! It was very flavorful without being too greasy. I don't leave bad reviews. But hoping the owner sees this and corrects the problem. If he does, I will remove the review. Traveling. Came in based on reviews. Burger was great. Server was sweet, friendly and attentive. Beer was cold. Monday Night Football was on. What could go wrong? A manager-type oddly started going from behind the bar to sitting at the bar drinking while on duty. Bad form, but I can live with it. What I can't live with is literally shouting at her phone and at other guests in a loud, cackling voice that carried throughout the entire restaurant and dropping F-bombs every other sentence. I'm not a delicate-type, but this was over the top. Would have been behavior that most establishments would have told guests to settle down. I would've stayed for a couple more and watched end of the game. But at 10 on a Monday night, I preferred to walk across the street. read more

I was staying at the casino hotel for one night and was looking for somewhere to eat, and found this place. It was an easy walk from the hotel which was great. When I went in the place was packed, so I sat up at the bar. At first I thought I was going to get ignored, but in not too long a nice young woman came and got me a beer and afterwards took my food order. I was actually waited on by two different women. I ordered a couple of different IPA's, a Caesar salad and a pizza and they were all good. My only problem was that I ordered too much, but that meant I had cold pizza for breakfast next day in my vehicle when I had a long drive. Great experience. read more

We just found Riverside right before COVID hit. We were surprised how good and reasonably priced the food was. My wife and daughter love the Onion Tanglers! The service has been excellent every time! Besides the food I like the fact that they have about 20 that's right 20 televisions most with a different sport on. We even had picked up our dinner and the portions were the same as if we had stayed. I can't find a single negative thing to say about Riverside Grill. This place is absolutely amazing! Our server was prompt, polite and knowledgeable about both the drinks and food menus. The menu was quite extensive on food and the cocktail menu had some really awesome drinks. We sampled two of them that were very well balance and flavorful. We had the cheddar balls and pulled pork potato skins as appetizers and loved them both. All of our sandwiches were excellent as well. I really can't say enough good things about this restaurant! We had a party of six and we're pleasantly surprised at both the speed that we received our food from the kitchen and the quality of what we got. The pricing was quite reasonable as well. We are not from the area and would be willing to make the hour drive to Bettendorf just to eat here again. Even the kids gave it a 5 star rating. read more

Watch your bill! Food is always good but we noticed today that there is a Conv Fee on the bill. We asked and apparently if you use a debit/credit card you are charged the fee the restaurant should pay to use a credit card of any type. In my eyes, this is part of business, not to mention the fact we did not agree to the fee. Unfortunately, the person who pays the price are the servers. Our server stated to us that if we paid cash there is a discount. Ahhh NO that should be our bill, YOU ( RESTAURANT) should pay the fee... NOT nickel and dime their customers. The food is on par for the type of restaurant and the price. Selection is good and the place is clean. Drink selection is better than expected. The 4 star rating is based on there being a few selections that are unique and better than expected. Also the pizza is better than most dedicated pizza joints in this area. Finally, the servers rock. This place is usually pretty good, but our experience tonight was disappointing. My husband and I both ordered ribeye sandwiches. Mine was very tough and had a strange taste and color/texture. My husband noticed the same about his. We discovered we'd been served what appeared to be pork tenderloins. We told our server and she took them back to the kitchen. She came back to tell us that the cook tasted one and agreed it was pork. They remade the sandwiches, but by this time our fries were cold. Our server was going above and beyond--she is the only reason I'm giving this review 2 stars. She asked if we'd like her to try to take off one or both meals, or at least ask for a discount. She also asked if we wanted to take the messed up sandwiches home. We said might as well since they were just going to throw them away anyway. She returned to say the "manager type" said we would have to pay full price since we were taking food home! I told our server to please take the leftovers back to the "manager" and tell this person they can keep their crappy sandwiches. I said they were the ones who screwed up our dinner and they still had the nerve to imply we were trying to steal extra food! Our server came back and said since we wouldn't be taking food home, we could have some money knocked off the bill. Like I said, the server was the only good thing about our experience there tonight. I came to Riverside Grille for lunch with my cousin last Saturday. Every available surface was plastered with big screen TVs, so if you're looking for a sports bar, Riverside Grille might be for you. We were one of just a few tables, it wasn't busy at all. Our waitress was pleasant and attentive. I ordered a pork tenderloin and it was AMAZING. I also loved the onion tangles that came on the side. My cousin got a chicken club sandwich that she really liked, along with the onion tanglers. Portion sizes were more than generous. It's close to the Waterfront Convention Center so if you're there for a meeting and want some air and a good place to watch some sports, come here! The server was quick to spot me and get me a drink, I went in on a Sunday to meet a friend here so no surprise that the place was full of people. I'm not sure if they have drink specials as that wasn't shared with me by the server. There's TVs all over the place and if you ask a server, they'll turn the channel for you on a TV near you to view comfortably. I ordered a bruschetta starter dish while my friend got the apple salad w/raspberry vinaigriette. There were five pieces to the bruschetta which was plenty for me, my only complaint about it is that there were too many onions on it that it would overpower the tomatoes and garlic. Came to this place for the first time today 02/11/21 for my birthday lunch and I couldn't believe the customer service. Absolutely unbelievable I ordered a steak salad and the lettuce was so wilted and tasted frost bitten I mentioned this to my server and she could care less. Walked away and came back 5 minutes later to collect payment didn't remove my salad from the check even tho the plate was completely full and uneaten!!!!! Came to this place and had to seat myself which was totally fine . My friend showed up about two minutes later and he sat with me for about 5 minutes. In this time we sat here, to even be acknowledged whatsoever, there were 4 servers and a bartender in the corner of the restaurant who were talking amongst each other taking pics, hugging etc., I met eyes with at least three of them. Finally, a waitress walked up to our table -apprehensively- might I add. My friend mentioned to her how we sat there waiting for service but they looked like they didn't want to serve us or lost . She stated she didn't even see us even though she was one of the ones who looked directly at me and it was not that busy on a Sunday night . She then asked what we would like to drink, I stated my drink as I've been there before but my friend had never been there and he requested a menu. She said "you don't know what you want to drink?" "How about start with at least a water?" And stomped off to grab menus which she proceeded to toss over on the table with some of the WORST attitude I have ever experienced in the restaurant industry. I was blown away so much that I just looked at my friend who is a successful black man in the Quad Cities and told him we don't deserve this treatment and we walked out . My friend proceeded to call the restaurant where he was met with an unapologetic manager who sided with the server saying "I watched her set down the menus and she did not throw them." UNREAL ! Great service; our server and the bartender were very friendly and checked on us often to make sure the food was OK and our glasses were full. When we decided to split a burger, the server had the kitchen staff cut it and served it separately with individual sides... Awesome! Decent beer menu, including crafts. Food was pretty good; we had the peanut butter & bacon cheeseburger and it did not disappoint! We noticed a few people had their kids with them, and the servers were great with them.
