The diner is open for breakfast & lunch- the lunch is good and has hot and cold sandwich options, but their breakfast is my favorite. Biscuits, pancakes, eggs...all the good stuff. There are definitely regulars, and it seems like the staff and customers are all old friends- probably because they are. Wheelers may seem kind of simple and unassuming; but it's great- definitely a kind of business that you don't come by often, and I'm glad to have it in the Lexington community.

I got my flu shot here this fall, and it was the quickest, pain-free process ever. Mad props to the pharmacist! They do have a policy that I had to stay in the store for 20 minutes afterwards and check in before I left, which was odd, but I think it's because they want to make sure you haven't had a reaction. All in all, a solid pharmacy, and you can get your grocery shopping done during the same trip!

It's a very small store with everything crammed into it - but everything there is too cute and eye grabbing. Talking about ornaments, they have everything from gem encrusted poodles to fairies to cupcakes. As for Santa, you can find him in various costumes. I was actually there to pick up a prescription and got sucked into gaping at all this. When I checked in on Yelp, I found they have a check-in offer and asked them about it. The owner said it was his son's idea and he is trying to introduce him to technology like this. Both the owner and the lady were very sweet and helpful. Of course, I got my candy bar for checking in. It is independent businesses like these that need and deserve the community's patronage. It is a must-visit shop for Christmas decorations.

The phone/call system is extremely confusing, and when you finally reach someone, the staff do not seem willing to help resolve the problem. I needed a medication that I considered urgent, yet I was told I would have to wait three weeks. I explained that this was an emergency, but the response was essentially, "You can go to another pharmacy. We simply don't have what you need here." I understand that a pharmacy may sometimes be out of a medication. However, what was especially disappointing was the complete lack of effort to help. If you truly care about your customers, why not at least check with other nearby pharmacies to see whether the medication is available somewhere else? Instead, I was simply told to go somewhere else. The staff were also not friendly or welcoming. At times, their attitude and body language made it feel as though helping the customer was an inconvenience. I strongly recommend that customers think carefully before relying on this pharmacy, especially if you have an urgent prescription or medication need. A pharmacy should provide more than just a place to pick up prescriptions. It should provide reasonable assistance and show concern when a customer has an urgent medical need. My experience here fell far short of that expectation.
