This is for the pharmacy and for the pharmacy only. I will no longer be a customer at another CVS in my life. I am an extra care member and will be switching over to Walgreens. No joke today I got B*TCHED out by the main pharmacist. Guy was completely unprofessional and was yelling at me even through the store while I left. Story below: I have Covid and pink eye in 2 eyes. I don't live here I'm out of town for a trip. All I wanted was my prescription for eye drops so I could drive my three hours and go home to bed. It was 1:24. He said I can't help you we are closed at 1:30. I said no it's 1:24. MAN STARTS YELLING AT ME. I tried to explain how terrible my day had been and he proceeds to say all these insulting and unprofessional things in the store. While I was leaving he CONTINUED to shout out me through the store. Went over to Walgreens and the pharmacist there saw I was upset, even offered to open their pharmacy up 5 minutes early to help me and offered to help me find anything I might need in the store. Complete different customer service model. I am never considering another CVS again in my life. I am in awe by the things a PHARMACIST was saying to me over a basic conversation. He could have been polite and explained that he was busy or whatever but instead was cursing and yelling throughout the entire store. read more

Slowest CVS pharmacy EVER. Anytime of day you go (weekend or weekday) they will have a line and it will probably be a 20-30 minute wait to just get your prescriptions. They are horrible with renewing scripts and filling them on time too. However, the minute clinic is super convenient as long as you make a appointment online ahead of time. The nurse practitioners there are always so kind and do their best to help you with whatever brought you on there. The photos are always good and printed nicely and quickly, and they have Apple Pay which is super nice when you're shopping around in there. And it's nice the store is 24 hrs too. read more

I drove up to the pharmacy to pick up a prescription. The store itself had closed due to weather. The pharmacist was there, working by himself, despite the fact he could have left 2 hours prior with the store staff. I told him how bad the roads were getting and ask why he was still there. He told me he just didn't feel right about leaving because he had several prescriptions for children and wanted to make sure they got their medicine that night. This pharmacist truly cares! Poor customer service Waited in line at the pharmacy just to be turned away for their breaks when it was my turn to be helped. I would have understood if there had been a line behind me but I was literally the last person with nobody else walking up to the counter. read more

I never have had a prescription filled here. I do buy Over the counter meds and pop when they are on sale. They sell liquor and you can find some good prices. Parking lot is tight and difficult to get back on Harrodsburg road going south. read more

This review is for the pharmacy only. I called to transfer a prescription from a mail-order pharmacy. As soon as the man who picked up (I think he is the pharmacist at this location) learned that it was a mail-order pharmacy, he refused to even try to call them and said the best thing for me to do is to make an appointment with my doctor and get a new prescription from them sent to this location. This would take months, so I got my medication transferred to another CVS pharmacy in the area. The next location I called was willing to try and I even got the pharmacy to call them directly. I've come to the Harrodsburg Rd location because of the convenience before and not had issues, but just be aware that they can be pretty disorganized and not very interested in helping you. The day I called, he also informed me first thing that they were 2 days behind on filling medications, which wasn't an issue for me. I tried to transfer my prescription in-app once to the Harrodsburg Rd location before calling, but for some reason that order disappeared. I now suspect someone deleted it once they saw they would have to call that pharmacy. I won't be using them again. I will go to other CVS locations. read more

This review is for the pharmacy only, everyone who has helped me in the main drugstore has been great. The pharmacy on the other hand is always a huge pain. I get that they're busy, but they seem disorganized and certain employees (not all, but several I'm afraid) have absolutely terrible attitudes. An extraordinarily rude college-aged girl in the drive through, who I guess is an intern, tried to charge me non-insurance prices for my prescriptions and didn't want to double check them for me. She seemed exasperated that I didn't want to pay $270 for what should have been $50 of medication. Turned out they hadn't applied my insurance at all, and I had to go in for anyone to figure it out and wait for about 30 minutes to get it sorted out. I switched from Kroger to here for the convenience of it being 24 hours but it is not worth it at all unless you plan to go in the middle of the night when they're dead. read more

This CVS is not the best one I've ever been to, but is always consistent when it comes to customer service. Sometimes getting a consult with the Pharmacists can take a while since they are always busy, but overall they are very helpful. It's a pharmacy. It's CVS. You get what you expect. read more

I had a very high blood sugar and attempted to purchase an incline pen. I did not try and buy it with my insurance I was going to pay full price. A smart ass 18 year old told me that I needed to go to urgent care and that she couldn't help me. read more

Customers should be aware that this CVS Pharmacy does not understand the concept of open 24 hours a day! I ordered a couple of pictures online and received an email from CVS photography that my pictures were ready, and I could come in and pick them up at any time. The following morning on the way to work I stopped to pick up my pictures at 7 AM. However, I found the door was locked and to the right of that door was a large sign that was lit up in red stating open 24 hours a day. So, I called the store, and a gentleman answered the phone, I could see this man in the store talking to me standing at the front door which was locked. He said that they would open at 8 AM. I pointed to the sign, and I said what is your interpretation of open 24 hours a day? His response was we will open at 8 AM. I asked him if he could send the photos to another CVS that is open, and he said no and hung up. I talked to other people and evidently this is a common occurrence. Standard pharmacy on the corner. One drawback is the in-out traffic flow because it's so close to an intersection. Besides that, clean and organized little store. It's got a Redbox in front, too. read more

Our insurance forced us to switch from Kroger to CVS and I am now at my second location and they are all pretty bad from my experience. I had all my prescriptions transferred because the first pharmacy was horrific. I called yesterday to make sure my prescriptions would be ready by 10A.M. this morning because we have had a death in the family and I have several hours of travel time and needed to be on the road by 11A.M. I was told they would put it on their "book" (whatever that means) and they would absolutely be ready for me. When I called this morning they told me it would be an hour and a half before my prescriptions would be ready. Now it is after noon, it has been 2 hours, and I still don't have my prescriptions. I was just told that it would be another 20 to 30 minutes. So, I am going to miss some of the memorial service today because my prescriptions are necessary for me to be out of town for the week. When I tried to explain, they blew me off and acted like I was crazy and didn't know what I was talking about. It's so frustrating to need medications and have your pharmacy control your life because they are unorganized and apparently there is absolutely no communication within these stores. I will say that this is just for the pharmacy. The employees in the store are wonderful and have always been very helpful. read more

I live part time in Los Angeles and Lexington and I've always loved CVS so when I needed to refill Prescriptions in Lexington I went to the CVS on Harrodsburg Rd. I couldn't believe how great they were and how helpful with my husbands and my Prescriptions being transferred back and fourth. There was one person who really stood out because she always knew my name and my face when I walked in. Finally, today I asked her her name because I really wanted to let everyone know if you ever need someone who cares and goes out of her way ask for Elley - she's awesome!!! Absolutely the worst pharmacy I've ever had to deal with! I had to call 4 times and stop in 2 times to get my prescription filled. They never reach out to say, "hey there was a problem filling your prescription" instead they just wait until you come in and say "I don't have that one" No one knows what's going on there and they rather act like they never helped you instead of getting in trouble. The phone skills are the worse! They have zero customer service skills! They cut you off when your trying to explain why the first 3 times this pharmacy couldn't fill it and instead rather just mess everything up again. I had to switch to this pharmacy because my insurance company made me. Otherwise I'd stay far, far away! read more

I have to say CVS has always been my favorite pharmacy! The store is so well organized and I like that it doesn't feel cold when you re in there. I find myself spending more time in a cvs than other pharmacy stores which I just rush in and out of. I like that the shelves are not as tall it doesn't make you feel lost on the aisles. This is literally the worst CVS I have ever been to. Staff is unfriendly, unknowledgeable, and absolutely incompetent. The pharmacy staff is comparable to chickens with their heads cut off. I could probably go to pharmacy school by the time they figure out how to fill a prescription, it's ridiculous. I usually go to the CVS in Nicholasville and that is where I plan to keep going. The past two times of trying to fill my prescription on Harrodsburg road I have had issues with not only getting my medicine but the pharmacy staff have been very short and rude with me. This drug I am prescribed is something I am trying very hard to get off of and the fact that these attendants here feel the need to judge me in some way really blows my mind. Here, even though they can see I have been consistently filling this prescription for 3 plus years they tell me flat out they must call my doctor to substantiate it is real ( Like I somehow obtained it illegally?) they also tell me "well this is going to take a few hours" Nicholasville is just as busy and gets it to me within 15 minutes. I am never badgered at Nicholasville location or made to feel less than. They do their job and leave the BS behind. I ALWAYS have problems at the Harrodsburg location. The time before last the drive-thru pharmacy attendant insisted I come inside and wait....If I am dropping off thru a car line I obviously do not want to come inside. read more
