The pharmacy WILL NOT ANSWER a CUSTOMER'S telephone call. They make you leave a voicemail message and that they will return the call, "within one-hour." I called again (I work and getting a call back would not help) and I told the computer telephone voicemail system that I am a, 'pharmacist, or I am calling from a pharmacy', the pharmacy then answered the phone. So, obviously the pharmacist and technicians are there working. I was trying to find out the cost of diabetic medicine (not taking it by choice) that is costing in the $1,500.00 range. The technician that answered the telephone said because I was not a pharmacist, that I would have to, "call back", and leave a voicemail to request the information. When I stated, "what kind of customer service is that", she said that is what she was told by the pharmacist. When the pharmacist finally picked-up she told me that she would take down my information/request only this time since I was a first-time caller. She would have to call me back with the information I requested, and then again reprimanded me for calling on the line that I did, and if I did it again they would not take the call! The reason I called to begin with, which I had to have my regular pharmacy transfer the prescription (they were polite, helpful, conscientious, and professional), was because the CVS website advertised the cost in the $600.00 range. This was not true. The medicine was still costing over $1,100.00. That, of course, is not the Todd's Rd. CVSs' fault, but the telephone debacle is. I DO NOT RECOMMEND the Todd's Rd. If you are able to deal with Adam (the pharmacist manager) you will be treated professionally and with kindness. He really goes out of his way to help you as does the staff when he is the pharmacist working. However...If you are unlucky enough to have to deal with the pharmacist Sarah Prior you will be met with rudeness, disrespect, incompetence and outright hostility. She has to be the most miserable person working with the public than anyone I have ever met. She instructs the staff to be as rude as she is and to not provide any customer service at all. She has even intentionally and willfully created situations where my prescriptions were withheld for long periods of time. She really should be reported to the KY Board of Pharmacy for unprofessional behavior. She is a newly graduated pharmacist and it SHOWS!! She should NEVER be in the place to work with the public as she has ZERO people skills which reviews on Yelp and Google seem to support this is her usual behavior to the public. I even called the CVS District Manager (Andrew) and he was impotent to deal with the situation stating that "CVS must respect the pharmacist's decisions". Perhaps is lack of management skills is contributing to the problem. I know that some will HAVE TO use this pharmacy due to insurance issues, but do yourself a favor and avoid Sarah Prior like the plague!! read more

The absolute worst pharmacy employees anywhere. Sold us what was supposed to be Sudafed and when we got home found out it was it was Claratin. They refused to refund or give us anything and tried to blame it on us saying why didn't you look at it before we finished up. Ridiculous. The pharmacist there (Leonhardt) is the absolute rudest person I've ever dealt with. The staff goofs off and ignores customers. I called and the told me my script would be ready in a few hours. I get there and they then tell me they don't even have a script. They all were very rude. I think because they're the only 24 hour one in Hamburg they think they can act this way. read more

When your dealing with people that have questions and concerns about their health and need medication to stay alive and you hang up on them you are a disgrace. I went to get my updated Covid Booster and Flu shots. I had bad experiences previously with another pharmacy chain who made me wait a ridiculous amount of time. CVS pharmacy was wonderful I waited at most 5 mins to get vaccinated. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. If you need to get vaccinated go to this CVS pharmacy, they are quick and very friendly. read more

There is a very nice gentleman who works here that has a contagious smile and honestly excellent service. When I was in, the other day, I was having a terrible day but I chose to put a fake smile on because I work in customer service. I didn't want my mood to affect others around me (that's not fair). Ok so this place is interesting. So to start out there is a redbox conveniently located on the side of the building outside The doors to enter the store are automatic opening. The staff is nice but very quiet and awkward at the same time ,its kind of like a dungen lol so the pharmacy staff each time i go in here needs more help ! "Like more people working at once to help guest " The reason i say that is because everytime i come to the pharmacy there is a sloww moving line and like 3 different phones ringing at the same time lol , its not the employees fault they are doing there best and you can tell its frustrating for them also. I am a huge fan of CVS. They are not your mom/pop pharmacy. They carry a large array of groceries, toys, greeting cards, as seen on tv items, booze and much more. The staff here are extremely friendly and helpful. I have not been in here without seeing a big smile on their face and hear a happy greeting from someone behind the counter when I enter the store. They usually have great sales and specials so keep an eye on their sales papers. Their best items in their sales is in their grocery department. This is the perfect place for peanut butter, sodas, cereal, and soups which is hard to believe, but its true. I also buy alot of soaps and tooth pastes here. The store is always clean and tidy. This store being at the end of Liberty and Todds makes it a quick way to get in and out fast without having to fight traffic. I love that. read more

This pharmacy is dangerously understaffed. I had the unfortunate need for emergency medication on a Saturday evening and was met by an exhausted looking pharmacy tech. The pharmacist was busy with the drive-thru window, there was a crowd gathered at the counter and the phone system continually announced, "Two pharmacy calls!" We waited almost an hour for my "emergency" prescription. Lesson learned. read more

I checked in for a script for my son who was very sick with Bronchitis causing uncomfortable hives. I was told it would be about 15 minutes. I was on a tight schedule and could left/come back but because they said 15, I stayed because my son was so uncomfortable. I went to the desk after a 25 min wait and asked when it would be ready. At that point the clerk would not give me a straight answer. I explained that I had kids to pick up and had to drive my sick one home before getting my older ones which would take 60 min of driving. We also get charged for after care if we miss pick up. Also, my older kids had practice and tutoring to get to. This all takes up hours of driving/waiting time for this particular day of the week. I would have stayed in the cue and come back during one of my wait times for the older kids if I had to in order to prevent rushing, had they given me a correct wait time, so I was admittedly, irritated. I said I couldnt wait and left as at this point, I was terribly late and staring down a choice of taking a sick baby home/getting a child care fee at the school or dragging my sick baby on hours of errands to avoid an aftercare fee. I chose to take my baby home. I tried to call on my drive home to get the correct wait time for a possible pick up later. No answer. I called multiple times over the next 90 min without an answer. Realizing at this point that this CVS was dreadfully undependable, I called my doctor minutes before they closed and got them to send the script to the Meijer pharmacy up the road as my husband went to get it. I got a text within 15 min that the script was ready. Six hours after my original wait, I decided to follow up with CVS just curious if my script was finally ready. It was not, still. They gave no explanation other than they were "backed up". Being told you have a 15 min wait then 6 hours later, your script is still not ready tells me a few things. 1) they could not deliver on the 15 min time frame and lied to make someone happy in the moment, which actually just blow my afternoon up 2) I was removed out of the cue which is NOT what I requested 3) no answer on the phone is delinquent 4) 6 hours later the script is still not ready is delinquent 5) Meijer is now my new pharmacy. read more

My Healthcare plan forces me to use CVS pharmacy. WHY????? My complaint has absolutely nothing to do with covid! This pharmacy, both local and online, have for the 10 years of my experience has been like this.. more often than not do not have meds ready when promised and there is almost always a considerable wait time once you arrive; thats both inside and drive thru. Today I get here, pick up bread and head to pharmacy. No customers in drive thru; nocustomers at inside pharmacy just knowing it would be quick cause I received notice my medications were ready for pick up. 2 people working. Im waiting 4 or 5 min. Car comes to drive thru. 1 guy responds immediately. The other continues to ignore me. I'm a littlefrustrated, so I move closer to counter to draw attention. Nope. 2 more people walk in. "Kiran" finally comes to counter and asks if I've been helped. This man has only been 10 or 12 ft from me! Me: "I believe so". Kiran: " yes, that is what he's doing. Pls have a seat" I backed a few ft from counter while I waited almost another 10 min while several other customers were assisted. After all others gone, they finally could help me. Some of the people at this pharmacy work very hard all the time on customer svc, wish I knew their names so I could give them credit for working with such a terrible organization. read more

Your doctor can send it in electronically and 6 hours later you go through the drive through because of dealing with them every month you know they are terrible and you want to give them plenty of time. Lines are long and slow, and if you have a change in prescription strength, they can't be trusted to honor the change. Please be careful. read more

This has to be the absolute worst pharmacy that I've ever been to! In the past, I always used this particular location because it was close to my doctor, but after waiting numerous times for over an hour when they told me 30 minutes, I decided to go elsewhere. Not too long ago, they filled my prescription, then a couple days later, I realized that my meds in my bottle looked a little low....Come to find out after calling them, they shorted me 30 pills on a Schedule 2 controlled substance!! I initially thought this was a great pharmacy. The pharmacists were all very nice, but the pharmacy technicians were borderline competent. Due to a botched surgery, I had filled several prescriptions for pain killers at this pharmacy. I had one of my friends drop off one of my prescriptions, but he brought the prescription back because the pharmacy tech said it was "too early to fill." I thought I could have just been mistaken, so I waited for two days and sent the prescription back to the pharmacy & the same tech told my friend that it was "too early to fill." That was impossible & since I work in the healthcare field, I knew how many days a prescription should last based on the sig (directions). It turns out the same pharm tech was putting the "days supply" as 30, when it was only a FIVE day supply. This happened two times! So, the last time I took the prescription to another pharmacy & because of her error I had to pay out of pocket ($80). Completely incompetent. Also, I was made to feel like a criminal every time I brought in a controlled prescription by some of the techs, even though I filled all of my prescriptions there. I switched to Rite Aid on Richmond Rd & they are wonderful. Very professional, competent, and friendly. I really tried to like this pharmacy, but the technicians weren't very nice & the service was getting slower every time I filled there. read more
