Love bringing my dog here to get groomed she always comes home with a perfect haircut and the cutest bandanas

Disappointing considering the high reviews and recommendations. We pick our dogs up 10/15 and they were both in rough shape. Our oldest had been vomiting and had some mild diarrhea. Understandably, she was stressed out boarding, which probably contributed to her condition, but we were also told that she ate well while she was there and yet has lost almost 5lbs (typically 30lbs). Considering she was in the calm play group, I can't see excessive exercise being a cause for such significant weight loss. She has since been inhaling food since we brought her home, whereas usually it's a fight to get her to eat her meals, so I'm guessing she didn't eat as well as they claim she did. Our younger dog was in pretty bad shape, so much so that she took and immediate trip to urgent care for treatment. She had been having bloody diarrhea, and when we picked her up, she was completely covered in blood and stool despite the bath that they told me she needed to have to clean her up. Her back and was completely raw and bleeding, the insides of her back legs or raw and red from her licking, the pads of her feet are raw and cracked, and her mouth was completely ulcerated, I assume also from licking. We were told that everything started the day before we picked her up, but based on the severity of her skin and also a significant weight loss (7lbs down from 41), I am guessing that's not the case. Since we have been home, she has had no appetite, and will not drink water, both of which they told me she was doing fine while she was with them. Again, I would have assumed that weight loss would come with extensive play time, but being that she was with the calm group, and we were told that all she did was sit on the A-frame and not play, that doesn't appear to be the case. We are having a difficult time believing what they are telling us about how well they ate and drank while they were there, and that they were doing well in group. Based on their physical appearance and attitude since they have been home, it does not appear that that is the entire truth.

We boarded our 2 puppies at The Pet Resort-Cumming last week. The facility was very nice and the employees were fantastic! We were able to see pictures of our dogs playing with other similar dogs their size while we were away in Florida. We could also tell the employees were loving our little doggies. I would certainly use them again and highly recommend their services. We even had our dogs groomed before we picked them up. They did a great job and the dogs were very well-adjusted and happy! Thank you so much to everybody for taking such good care of our little girls.

Happy pup, glad to have him back, we all missed him but he made new friends here

Lori is the sitter I use and she is outstanding. Recently I was away on business and received a call from Lori. Normally she sends pictures and videos of my precious Boomer. When I received a telephone call I was surprised. This time Lori seemed worried. She told me that she noticed a little blood around Boomer's paw. I really did not think much of it; I know he loves to play a lot and that he loves to scratch his post. However, Lori was adamant that something wasn't right. I thought maybe she may have been overreacting when she insisted that he be seen by a vet. Lori was already booked for the day, but managed to change her schedule to take Boomer to his vet - thank God she is so vigilant! Had we waited much longer, Boomer may have acquired an abscess. His nail had grown into his paw (shame on me for not trimming his nails) and was beginning to become infected. The situation was so serious that my vet did a minor surgery to make certain my baby was healthy again. Lori not only dropped him off at the vet, but also, made her next appointment on time, then returned to bring Boomer (cone on his head and all) back home. I flew home to be with him immediately. This business is exceptional, the level of care, outstanding. I cannot thank Lori enough for going over and above for my Boomer. I am forever grateful to her and I refuse to use anyone else!!!

Each visit Lori sends texts, videos and/or photos, which is reassuring when I'm missing my fur babies. Best of all, my cats like her. They typically take time to warm up to new people, but not with Lori. I can't recommend her services enough.

We entrusted Ashton with our Georgia while we were out of town, and we couldn't be happier with the results. Georgia learned so many new commands and skills during her time with Ashton, and the difference has been incredible. One of the biggest improvements is her leash walking. She now walks beautifully on a leash, making our daily walks so much more enjoyable for everyone! We are so grateful for the time, patience, knowledge, and care Ashton put into training Georgia. It's clear that Ashton truly cares about the dogs she works with and is dedicated to helping them succeed. We also appreciate that Georgia came home with skills we can continue to build on as a family. If you're considering training for your dog, we cannot recommend Atlanta Dog Works and Ashton enough. The Board and Train program was absolutely worth it, and we are so thankful for the positive impact it has had on Georgia. We would absolutely use them again! Absolutely love Atlanta Dogworks! We looked for a long time for a place to board our 10 month old puppy, Georgia. When we pulled onto their property I knew we found it! They have different suites to choose from and I love how spacious many of them are! You can add extra activities for your dog during their stay! Mine loves playtime and nature walks!! The staff loves on your dog just like they are at home!! So glad we found them right up the road from us!!

I cannot begin to express the gratitude I have for EVERYONE at Atlanta Dogworks! I brought our 10…read moremonth old Rhodesian Ridgeback, Trinity Grace, in for overnight boarding as well as a couple one on one training sessions with the owner Greg and myself while I was housesitting in the area. I have neuropathy in my hands and leash walking has definitely been challenging for me so, I was hoping Greg could give me some pointers. Never did I expect Trinity to be able to walk next to me without a leash. Where to begin.... Vanda, the receptionist, was so kind, patient and sweet! She was extremely helpful with my multitude of questions before, during and after. I am very much the helicopter mom for our fur baby...lol. I've never done something like this so Vanda was amazing answering all my questions. You could genuinely see the love she had for all her fur and human customers. Trinity boarded overnight and it was obvious she was very comfortable and connected with Ashlynn that was giving her some trail walks and taking care of her. Due to the limited amount of time I had in town I was only able to get two sessions in with Greg. It is mind blowing how much he taught Trinity but more so me in that time during our sessions. I loved the analogies and thought provoking scenarios he provided in order for me to relate to our pup and her thought process. I had always heard it's more about training the owner versus training the dog. Which I definitely see now. Greg even told me by the time we left on the second visit that Trinity would walk next to me without a leash. And she did! Now I have a lot of work to do still especially when we go back home down to South Georgia. But I definitely look forward to bringing Trinity back in a couple months to work with Greg a little bit more. Because I had to go several times I really feel like I got to know the staff. Trinity was very excited to see Vonda, Ashlynn and Greg. As I like to say, Trinity did the wiggle butt dance every time we arrived! Regardless if you need doggy daycare, overnight boarding or training the Peacefulness & Serenity of this facility is like no other and your pup will be in GREAT hands. This was such a precious find! I also loved all the little extras that could be added on. The irony is when we lived up in this area 8 years ago, our German Shorthaired Pointer Rascal used to run to a farm behind us. Little did we know it was Atlanta Dogworks. It was pretty impressive that Vanda remembered our Sweet Rascal Girl too. That sure was a sign that Trinity was in good hands! Looking forward to a long relationship with a phenomenal establishment!

I cannot say enough good things about TriCounty. Everyone there - from the front desk to the vet…read moretechs, to the vets - are some of the most kind and understanding people I have ever met. My experience with them started one Saturday afternoon when I found a dog walking along a busy road. I picked her up and took her to the nearest vet's office (TriCounty) to be scanned for a chip. The office was closed, and the last person to leave (I later learned it was Dr. Teal) was about to get in her car. But she opened her doors again to scan this lost dog. Thanks to her help we had her home within hours. My next experience was on a cold February morning when I found an English Bulldog walking in the middle of the road. She was stinky and dirty - the worst smelling dog I've ever encountered. I dropped by TriCounty for another successful chip scan, and decided to hold onto her until we found her people. But she needed so much immediate care, and I couldn't take her home to my two Wonder Mutts until she was checked out. They checked her out, bathed her, and sent me home with medicines for her various conditions - all at a remarkably affordable cost since I had rescued her and was taking her home until we could find her owners. It took a few days and lots of phone calls, but she got back home. After that I decided TriCounty was where my two Wonder Mutts needed to be, where they have been treated kindly and gently whenever they needed to be there. We rehomed a beautiful German Shepard who, unfortunately, rapidly developed myriad unconnected medical problems. Again, as always, the folks at TriCounty (especially Dr. Ashleigh Huggins) have been kind and loving to Drake - and empathetic with us as we are watching our loved dog's health deteriorate. It is clear to us that everyone at TriCounty loves their patients, and we cannot imagine our three dogs getting any better care anywhere else.
