His in-depth knowledge of human anatomy and how each muscle works and is connected to another part has allowed us to progress in a way not to over strain our body yet push us to the limit every time we train with him. I only come to this one because of the location when I'm visiting family in the Bay Area. When you think of Sausalito, you think upscale, well-managed, personable, and impressionable. Not really the vibe I got at this Anytime Fitness center. You should have stayed closed until everything was cleaned up and ready for a grand re-opening. I came in the other night when it was pouring rain and, to be honest, I wasn't not really impressed with the new set-up compared to what it was before. When I first walked in, I was immediately met with the smell of sweat, some other funky stale odors, and just an overall feeling of cringe and ick. Let's just say I've been to better gyms that actually make a conscious effort to feel welcoming when you "badge in." The storage cubby area for personal items was overflowing with water bottles, sweaters/jackets, workout towels, and clothes balled up in the corner that have just been left there. Primary source of the smell, I think. No accountability, no apparent care for cleanliness. FAIL!!! A side office door with a "Redlight Sauna Therapy" sign next to it was off the hinges with boxes inside, in plain view, that I can only assume were left there from the recent renovation. Floor mats at the front entrance off to the side that weren't laid down and interconnected, just stacked one on top of the other. The color palette is bland and not energetic. Grey and White? Seriously? Stick with the primary brand and accent colors: Blurple, Purple, White, Red/Orange, and Green/Turquoise. You should know this! Where's the "Inspiration Wall Board" for members to write words of motivation for other members? The brick and mortar "Anytime Fitness" logo wall with supplements is also gone/missing. If this was meant to be a soft opening, you missed the mark entirely. I'm not Joey Swoll, but overall, I'd say "you need to do better." So what's changed, positively? There's a new gym set-up/floor plan from when I was here last year, 2024. The spin class / group training studio is no longer there and has been opened up to include 4 new squat racks, a cable pulley machine, and flat bench rack. On the other side, it's still very much the same with the mirrored wall and free weights as well as the purple turf training area with TRX bands and medicine balls. There are two new treadmills, I think. The track mat/belts feel a little flimsy and could use some tightening. The massage chair room is still there. 4 unisex restrooms, only one has a shower. I loved coming here before the renovation, but now, I'm not so sure. You have a lot to improve on and make better in order to make me ever reconsider coming back here.

I've always enjoyed a structured workout and this is what TDM gives you. But like any studio anywhere, there are always pros and cons. PROS: - Clean studios - friendly staff - there is a shower and a type of day care for kids - challenging exercises that can be modified. - free parking CONS: - there's only one shower and bathroom so it can get packed real quick. - the space (at least in Corte madera) is very small and tight. - they're not a lot of day care options available. - not as many classes as some would like, especially in the evenings. - not a very diverse clientele- but that's not the studios fault (at least I hope it's not) - parking is limited - VERY EXPENSIVE. And they are always finding ways to charge you extra. For example, there's a no show fee of $15/class. I get that they charge to encourage you to go to class because another person could've take your spot if you canceled but they don't actually have that many people going in at once. Every time I went in, there was always space. For unlimited bar classes, I believe it costs $179 but if you want to engage in unlimited cycling and barre classes, the price jumps to over $200. I understand that these classes aren't suppose to be cheap because you are paying for the instructors time and the studio space but yesh, that's quite steep, especially since it's not a Pilates studios that requires a specific machine or any at all. The introductory package (21 days of unlimited barre and cycling) cost $75! I think that's what I'm most put off by. They are still charging so much for someone just to try it out and they don't even give you the full month to try it out. I have decent job in the Bay Area that allows me to pay for that but I still don't want to throw down that much. I gave it a try but I don't think I'd be going back. I've seen a lot of other studios that make a greater commitment to their students health at a much lesser cost and I think I'll support those types of studio. For example, Red Dragon Yoga studios also costs over $100 (I think it's around $129) for unlimited studio use but they have an intro deal of $30 for unlimited yoga at any of their locations. They also (as far as I know) don't threaten students with extra costs if they suddenly can't show up. Again, there are pros and cons to everything so I'd recommend trying at least once, that is if you want to spend money here.

Been going to TDM for years - here, Novato and Fairfax. It's the most intelligent, inspiring, hard…read more(in good ways) exercise class I have found. I've learned about the small muscles in my back and shoulders, work my abs, quads, arms, all of which help me in all other exercise - bike, climbing, TRX, yoga - and with my posture at work. Each studio has their own personality just like their communities. I've done years of Bikram, many yoga, pilates, TRX and other classes around the county. I always come back to TDM and love it here. I feel so much better even though I may be sore. The teachers have been mostly fabulous! Yes, they've known their clients for years so it can get a bit chatty but they always come back and focus. Last note: I didn't really discover the value of it fully till I did a 30 day thing and went to 18 classes. Then I found out how hard it REALLY was once I started to learn the right muscles and posture!
