BEWARE!!! I hired Dawns Designs to take down and rebuild a pergola and also to resurface stamped…read moreconcrete with cool decking on our patio and stairs leading to the lake. My General Contractor from Dawns Design was Yosef Zubiz or (Joseph). They have a set schedule for payments and literally the moment their subcontractor says they are done, they expect payment and are very high pressure about this, even before you get to inspect the work. The work was being done at our lake house (1 hour away) and we kept up with the immediate schedule until I went to the lake house, the day they said, the pergola was completed. When I started reviewing the workmanship it was evident that Joseph and his subcontractor had no clue about construction. The subcontractor was onsite and it was only him and his girlfriend was trying to help him. There were 6" 2x4's spliced in several places, because he miscut the piece that should have been used, no slope on the pergola that was going to have a roof installed, 2x4's were split from the screws he used, split and badly warped rafters (2x8's), flat paint used when it was requested to use Satin finish and so many more errors to list. It took 3 weeks for these errors to get completed because my General Contractor (Yosef) would not come up to the job to inspect the work! He relies completely on the subcontractor's word!! The subcontractors said each time they called him to inspect, Yosef told them it was too far from Katy to go to Conroe. My wife and I got stuck with a pergola, where each seam of the Carbonite roofing shows, because they built the pergola with 29" rafter centers when the roofing panels are 4' on center. NO planning on their part! I had Jacob, one of the Dawn Designs owners, come out to show him the workmanship, he acted appalled with the work that was done and promised corrective measures, but could not get any replies for any corrective measures. I WOULD NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN and have a hard time believing these good reviews are actual reviews from actual customers. BEWARE!!!

He did an excellent job. As a Master Handyman I asked him to do several more things like recaulk a bathtub, fix a drawer in an old dresser, haul away old cabinets out of my garage and he did them quickly with expert quality! He just finished another major job for me in my kitchen and next up is my laundry area. I highly recommend R & R for any job.

Extremely Disappointing Experience ...Would Not Recommend…read more My experience with R & R Contractors was frustrating and unprofessional. Despite having a written scope of work and agreed pricing, I was asked to pay an additional $$$ per day(s) to finish the work after the work took longer than the handyman anticipated. A professional contractor should communicate clearly, manage the job responsibly, and honor the agreement without leaving customers chasing updates or facing unexpected charges to finish the work. Instead, I've dealt with poor communication, a lack of accountability, and an unfinished project. My advice: Get everything in writing, including timelines and any potential additional charges before they start. Don't rely on the number of days the handyman says it will take, because he will definitely stretch those days and leave you in the middle of an incomplete project with no options of backing out...Total scam!!!. Based on my experience, I would not hire this contractor again.

I am moving into an older property and got some new interior and exterior doorframes installed on both the front and back doors that needed to be painted ASAP. After a few leads going cold, and a lot of unprofessionalism, I stumbled across Project Pro and Robert is extremely professional, warm, and easy to talk to. He charges an hourly rate and gives you a pretty accurate window of when your project should be finished up front. Communication is great, Robert was always quick to answer or call back. He tries to save customers money any way he can, and he and his team take pride in their work and really want to hear and see that satisfaction come out of you before they call it a job well done. Just a very personable, efficient, and great small company that shows a sense of urgency and respects your time and money spent no matter how small or large the project, these guys are going to make sure you are taken care of and not ignored. I highly recommend Project Pro to anyone! Thanks again guys for the great service! Y'all are one of a kind!

I cannot say enough great things about Geovanny with City & Beyond Handyman Services! He recently…read morecompleted my master shower renovation, and the transformation exceeded my expectations. I'm 6'1", and since purchasing my home in 2015, I've never felt comfortable using the master shower because it was simply too small for me. I primarily used my guest shower because it offered more space. I can literally count on two hands how many times I've used my master shower over the years--and since I don't take baths at all, the tub was basically wasted space. When I explained my vision to Geovanny, I told him I wanted to remove the tub, extend the shower, and create a spacious, spa-like feel. Boy, did he deliver! He took the vision I had in my head and brought it to life beautifully. The new shower feels completely different--open, comfortable, luxurious, and exactly what I wanted. The renovation did take longer than we initially anticipated, but the finished result was well worth the wait. Quality work takes time, and I'm extremely happy with the final product. I've worked with Geovanny on several other projects throughout my home, and he delivers top-notch results every single time. He has definitely become my go-to person for home projects. 10/10 -- I highly recommend Geovanny and City & Beyond Handyman Services, and I will absolutely continue using him for future projects!

Following an inspection completed on September 30, 2026, CGarcia Renovation estimated the work at $1,800, stating it would require 5 to 6 workers over two days to complete all repairs before October 2. I accepted the proposal and immediately issued the requested $900 deposit. However, on September 30, no personnel arrived at the property. On October 1, a single worker arrived at approximately 9:00 AM, worked until 12:30 PM, and abandoned the job without completing the scope of work. I engaged a secondary handyman to inspect and complete the remaining repairs. The secondary contractor provided an estimate of $1,200, completed all work by himself that same day

Luis and Carlos are the BEST! I had this crazy idea to add some panel molding to a wall in my home…read more I requested quotes from several companies on Yelp and Luis was the first person to respond. We traded messages about what I was looking for and set up a time for him to come out and give me an estimate. The estimate seemed fair and, more importantly, Luis had done projects like this before. So I decided to move forward. In the meantime, I was getting new carpeting in the room and at the last minute I decided the room should get painted before the installation date. Luis was able to move somethings around to accommodate me. He also took great care of protecting my furniture and the new carpet from paint and dust. The end result of this project completely exceeded my expectations! I literally handed Luis a sketch I made on ChatGPT and he and Carlos executed it beautifully. They even left the inside edges uncaulked because I'm 50% sure I'll install wallpaper panels at some point. Throughout the project, Luis made it clear that he wanted me to be completely satisfied. There was a small issue that he could have easily covered up but he brought it to my attention and discussed how it should be fixed. There's the lazy way to do something and the right way - Luis and Carlos definitely did it the right way! One more thing I want to add is that Luis is an excellent communicator! He responded to every text message, texted me when he was on the way to my house and let me know, in advance, about delays. How many contractors do that??!! I recommend Luis and Carlos without reservation for great work, done right!
