They are not the cheapest, but they justify their price with their work. My wife and I are extremely happy with Unique and will use them again if we have any other home remodeling needs.

When I declined to continue with a project with Brandon, the company inflated charges to consume the majority of the deposit that I paid them. No physical work was ever performed yet they charged $175 per hour in labor for sending one email to my insurance carrier asking why Xactimate charges were not accepted. They then charged $125 for two Xactimate reports: along with the labor to produce the reports. Very unethical. The owner Darryl stated that they are not in the business of assisting clients in getting work done elsewhere and proceeded to do with my deposit whatever he saw fit for his pockets. I would advise not to use ths company, but if you do.... DO NOT PAY DEPOSIT BY CHECK! They will tell you that to use a credit card the fee is a high percent however, I found, that they do this to keep your deposit because if you pay by check you will have no ally with the bank to dispute funds as you would with a credit card. I would have paid a set fee for an Xactimate with any other company from $60 - $100 with no hourly rate attached. They literally assumed my deposit by charging me for two reports and labor of $175 per hour, which they say was over 3 hours to generate the report.... I guess the paper for the report is $125 and the labor is $175 per hour forover 3 hours for a 3 page report. So unethical. Very bad business practices. The contract states the deposit is refundable if services are not rendered but that is false. I understand taking a flat fee for Xactimates but Darryl went overboard to assume as much of the deposit as possible... Please do your homework on multiple companies... I would not recommend Unique Builders.

A professional contractor should communicate clearly, manage the job responsibly, and honor the agreement without leaving customers chasing updates or facing unexpected charges to finish the work. Instead, I've dealt with poor communication, a lack of accountability, and an unfinished project. My advice: Get everything in writing, including timelines and any potential additional charges before they start. Don't rely on the number of days the handyman says it will take, because he will definitely stretch those days and leave you in the middle of an incomplete project with no options of backing out...Total scam!!!. (see below) We've had several contractors work on this shower over the years, but nothing has stood the test of time. And nothing has looked as good as it does now. First, they back up their work forever. And it gets past on to the next home owner without cost. Second, the price was quite reasonable. Third, they make sure they please their customers. In every aspect, they asked what we wanted and we got it. Forth, wow what they did to ensure longevity! We absolutely believe this shower will never ever leak again. Fifth, everyone was great to work with, even the crew. Sixth, the crew! We'll ask for them by name next time we need them. They are Kirvyn Bravo and Walter Ramos. Finally, the finish - after completion, the drain backed up during the shower's first use. AAT&R sent a plumber out right away. We had a cracked drain pipe at the clean out we didn't know about! Probably didn't show until now because we now have better shower drain water flow??? IDK. But, definitely not AAT&R. But we only had to pay for the repair! Yes, we will use them again, probably without getting other quotes. We believe in them that much. Highly recommended!

I engaged ZG Concrete for a 3 part project for my home: Complete replacement of the whole…read moredriveway, back patio, and front walkway. The old structures were 50+ years old and in poor condition, and a weak point in the look and function of the property. ZG quoted the job quickly and accomodated the addition of the front walkway when it was obvious that was an easy additional item to have replaced. Communication with ZG was great for the whole project. I received a fairly detailed quote and payment schedule. When the work started, it was swift and proceeded along at an efficient rate. The job was done start to finish in a week. For this job I was looking for quality. Speciflcally I wanted correctly sized rebar used for the entire project, the use of rebar chairs, quality expansion joint wood, correct grading of all surfaces, and crews who know what they're doing. ZG delivered all of that. The tie-in to the city street was done corretly, with a hefty beam at the start of the driveway with rebar set into holes drilled into the street. The final driveway was finished with a brushed texture and smooth edges all the way around. The stamped concrete on the walkway and patio was colored, finished, and sealed, and mimics the look of natural stone. When I hire a comany, I am looking for variety of things including personable people who have an eye for quality. One can always find a cheaper bid from a company who cuts corners and delivers an inferior product. I wanted great lookling, high quality final results that would last decades. If you're going to buy a lot of concrete and pay to have it installed, it makes sense to ensure that the underlying details such as rebar, grading, and fit and finish are also done correctly. Julian and Waleed are working hard to produce quality end products for their customers. I would easily use ZG again and would certainly reccomend them.

And just recently had the entire patio resurfaced from a brushed finish to a patterned cool deck finish with paint. To date have no issues with the work done. I accepted the proposal and immediately issued the requested $900 deposit. However, on September 30, no personnel arrived at the property. On October 1, a single worker arrived at approximately 9:00 AM, worked until 12:30 PM, and abandoned the job without completing the scope of work. I engaged a secondary handyman to inspect and complete the remaining repairs. The secondary contractor provided an estimate of $1,200, completed all work by himself that same day
