They transformed a 24 year-old shower/Jacuzzi combo with a doorless curbless walk-in shower. Which included floor to ceiling custom porcelain wall tiles, floor tiles, and a glass frameless shower enclosure. They removed/bricked up the outdated 5 x 5' shower block and replaced with a smaller more modern frosted window. The results are stunning. Both bathrooms vanities replaced with beautiful quartz countertops. The results were so nice that I was compelled to update my kitchen with the same bathroom countertops and then made a decision to paint the interior & exterior to match the bathrooms. Jose and Arturo painted my house (inside and out) to make it look brand new. The showpieces were the freshly painted kitchen cabinets and matching fireplace. The exterior was painted fresh and clean, and walking inside, was a wonderful experience like living in a new home with the same address. :-) My sales rep, Chad Williams, did a fantastic job with bathroom remodel recommendations and painting suggestions. He also provided a thoroughly detailed estimate, and I was not surprised by any additional charges. This was a complex project due to the glue down installation of bamboo floors that had to be removed at the second level of the house. Portions of the first floor finished in polished concrete were also installed - all along a gentle curve.. The care and precision of installation was perfect, particularly working around a curved steel stair case that was finished in 3" floating black walnut treads. After a year of use and a long overdue review, I remain extremely impressed with the durability and beauty of these floors. The entire team was fantastic to work with, particularly Steve and his install lead Cesar. When you have a single guy on the install team that makes all of the cuts, you know they have their process down pat. We did not have a single punch item on the job. After our personal experience, we had Steve provide floors for my daughter's house in Mercer Island, Washington. Steve advised on locating a certified flooring installer and the results there were fantastic - a custom herringbone pattern and color perfectly fitting the mid-mod house. We hired At Home Expert (AHE) to do the remodeling to both bathrooms. Also to do the tile and backsplash in the kitchen. (Laundry room too). We did not have AHE do the cabinets but, I wish I would have hired them for that as well. At the time I did not know AHE did cabinets as well. They do it ALL! I went to the AHE showroom and met with Evan Rousan. We have used Evan R. before on a different home and he did an EXCELLENT job on it , so why use someone else. Plus, he is just a really nice man! Evan helped me design my 2 bathrooms and pick out great back splash and flooring for the house. I had a budget set in my mind and he helped me stay on it. Evan also gave me some advice on what would look good & what would not. I really appreciate that! He was not just trying to make a sale. The tile selection at the showroom was fantastic, just what I was wanting. While Evan's crew was doing all the work at our house, we decided to have them paint almost all of the inside of the house and paint the fireplace. (I love how the fireplace and mantel came out!) When we have other projects we will definitely check with AHE first.

The crew had to remove my back yard fence gate in order to get materials to the back yard. I was promised that it would be reinstalled the way it was but they did a shoddy job replacing my back fence gate and now there is a larger than one inch gap between my gate and the latch. (see picture). I brought this up to Nova Roca's attention who said they would fix it but it has been over 3 weeks since we spoke and have not heard any follow-up. Also, the crew left a lot of concrete rubble in the grass that I had to take a shop vac to remove.

We had pictures of fireplaces that we liked and used those as a template for our fireplace. The timeframe he gave was good. The final product was awesome. If you are thinking about an outdoor fireplace, then talk to Antonio. Have pics of fireplaces you like in order to give him an idea-vision of what you want. P.S. The fireplace we had built has a 3-foot thick concrete foundation base and for good reason: weight. My fireplace weighs approximately 16,000 pounds. 3 - 4 inches of concrete will not support that weight.
