my brother & i went on a wednesday afternoon and were greeted by super friendly employees at the entrance. i was able to get three 1g house prerolls for only $6, which is a steal. their selection of products was also pretty big, ranging from your typical flower to THC drinks to syrups and topicals. service was nice and super helpful when it came to recommendations. apparently they have frequent deals on different types of products for days of the week. i'd love more dispos with this vibe where i live in SoCal. read more

Not many dispensaries on the north side of the river and it seems like both are vying for the mediocre to sub par position within city limits. It is nice to see both of them as of late become more affordable by providing a more economic $5 a gram option. The People's Wellness Center was one of the first shops on route when dispensary hoppin, but dropped off within a year. Every 3 to 4 months #jimmyinspazZz stops in to visit with little fanfare for a familiar face, dismay at the packaging which is no good for landfill or quality of cannabis. Two final things to note, the first being that several of the employees seem to feel the need to give a redundant lecture about terpenes vs percentages. This may be the culture of the company because %'s have been hard to find on online menu's for TPWC when available for other dispensaries. Most folks might need that lecture once in order to understand those important dynamics just caution in chiding, finger wagging, or eye rolling. Finally, with all that said my final word is that all of the flower purchases on more than a dozen trips into The People Wellness Center has been dank, quality cannabis. read more

All I wanted was to get a few clones, and it has turned into a big hassle and waist of my time! I look on their menu on leafly and it said they have the one I want. I call to make sure they have it. The guy on the phone said I think we have 2 but was too busy to look so he took my number and said he would call me right back. No return call. I call back later and they are still too busy and take my number again and I sit and I wait. After an hour or more I get a call saying sorry we don't have those. I call everyday checking to see if they have any. Today they said yes we have them so I drive all the way a cross town and when I get there they can't find them! So they take down my phone number and said they would get a few for me asap. I have been sitting here waiting for way too long with no reply! I think they just don't want my money.
