This place was incredible. I have never seen such a large selection in a single location before they had well over 200 different strains to choose from as well as additional products such as can't concentrates and edibles and vape pens and cartridges. The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful at recommending product. read more

What a piece of art. I personally wouldn't make this a first time into a dispensary kind of trip. It will make all others seem like the DMV by comparison. My friend is a lightweight and although wanted some mints, could not handle the dosage so we unfortunately left empty handed but the budtenders were knowledgeable about what they had in stock. Since moving here I always loved this place and recommended it as the coolest dispo i've ever gone to, tenders are very friendly, atmosphere is unreal and they have a very wide selection although not the best deals in town. However recently I bought a half oz and and after trying to smoke it (rather unsuccessfully) I looked at the harvest date and discovered it was almost 5 years old, I chalked this up to be a mistake and took it back to try and maybe swap or something. However when I went back they asked what strain and responded "oh yea" casually like it's common knowledge they are selling 5 year old weed. They then told me no exchanges and nothing they could do because that was the strain and "flower doesn't really expire", which seems ignorant considering the "budtender" title and the many sources that say otherwise with a simple google search. Really disappointed for having loved this place so much for the past two years but I don't think I will be going back and will likely tell others to stay away. I know a lot of smokers, but not a single one that wants to touch the 5 year old half oz, if that doesn't say enough, im really not sure what will. I really held this place to a high standard and it was one of my favorite spots in Eugene, but this experience was extremely disappointing and will very likely be the last here. read more

I came here looking for a sessions disposable.. they were out even though online said in stock. I ended up getting a white label instead. $35 (usually $28 at other dispensaries). The white label was totally burnt out and didn't even get me stoned. I tried returning it but they tried claiming "live resin is just like that". NO ITS NOT. Especially white labels. Usually flavor and stone is great but these must be old/oxidized. I've had this situation happen at a different dispensary (grasslands & tracktown) and they gladly took back bunk product they were selling. I love this place. Hands down the most consistent customer service a dispensary can deliver, and it's mostly good! In general there tends to be an attitude that young budtenders like to emit. It's almost tantamount to the attitude vegans have, like some toxic ghost fart you can't see but you know is there from the foul stench permeating the air. Vegans are the reason I still eat meat from time to time. At Spacebuds though, 8 out of 10 times you get all of 'em in a decent mood and when that happens the place runs like a well oiled machine. Few and far between are the times when they get a little snooty. Comparatively, I'd say as rare as dinosaur earwax. The atmosphere is fun and frivolous. From Star Trek, to Star Wars, to Stargate, well shoot, there's 3 out of 5 stars right there. They make the punch card fun by letting you spin a prize wheel when your card is full. You don't win some plastic shwag toy you may as well have scraped out of the parking lot of McDonalds either, it's the real deal. Last time I spun the wheel I won a really nice glass pipe and it was fun spinning that wheel. As to pricing, it's comparable to most other dispensaries. There are deals. There are some things you will feel are really expensive, other things, not so much. You will find something terrific in your range though due to the wide variety of offerings Spacebuds offers and the knowledgeable staff readily there to let you know what's available. Lately I have been partaking in the "Trip Packs" (go in and ask) They aren't meant to knock you down but they are a perfect mid-range high for a hike OR for tidying up the house, either is a pleasure with these. Not the longest lasting effects but for the price, I'm not complaining even a little considering what I'm getting. They are also one of the few dispensaries that still honor people working in the industry with a bit of a discount, so grateful for that. Some of us have been in the trenches for decades. It is true, some people abuse the privilege but by offering, you're still getting the good ones. The others will be punished when the day of reckoning comes and the fiery hand reaches from the depths... *ahem* Either that or their punishment is that they're douchebags, that must suck for them. Of course they offer killer deals every day whether you work in the industry or not and they do two for Tuesday stamps on your stamp card. There, if you can think of a reason NOT to go in, I'd REALLY like to hear it. read more

Overall this is probably (in my humble opinion) the best head shop here in Eugene Oregon. Er, I mean marijuana dispensary . Looking from the outside of the building one would think this looks more like a college house than a dispensary. However... Step foot inside (& especially if you're a fan of science fiction) and the fun really begins. Resembling more of a movie showcasing artifacts, trinkets, and replicas from wide range of sci-fi books movies and canon, they didn't excellent job with their decor selection. You'll see everything from the eggs from Aliens, Nintendo themed figurines, to even a sliding door from Star Trek leaving to the managers office. My favorite treat was that they call their punch card a "Multi-Pass"... Those of you have seen Fifth Element know what I'm talking about. Putting aside the outstanding Easter eggs from across the spectrum of sci-fidom, they have a great selection of different strains of sativa, indica, and hybrids. The staff here is super polite and the seamless knowledgeable about the marijuana they sell. Prices are also extremely reasonable for the quality. They have flat screens showing their current inventory and a color coded system that makes it easy to pick out the type of particular bud that you're searching for. I even don't really take part in smoking pot... But I'd visit this place in a heartbeat again, partaking of not, just Fourth the novelty and sheer attention to detail. 4 out of 5 stars. read more

It's all repped with the fun decor of this dispensary. We spent more time checking out the decor than we did the product. Speaking of which: The drugs were good, and at reasonable prices. Went in for my first time today and it will be my last. Turned 21 two days ago and asked about the wheel which they wouldn't let me spin because you have to go on the actual day. Got two pre rolls for $17 after being told I would only be charged $10 which were harvested two years ago. Complete scam workers were not cool at all would not recommend ! read more

I was in town from Cali, attending a wedding. Stopped by twice in a week for some pre rolls. I got great service and the prices were great! For $28 I got 12 pre rolls. Some 1gs and a 5 pack. Prefect for me as I was on vacation. My friend who lives in Eugene bought some flower that was really purple smelling for 5 a gram. This place has a really cool vibe with the Science Fiction theme. However I've gone here the last two years while going to UofO and recent experiences has led me to creating a yelp account just to rate a 1 star. I honestly can't speak for everyone but this place has had the rudest customer service as far as employees not knowing bud as much as they should know for working at a dispensary but to flat out ignoring some customers. What made me want to write this review is my last cartridge purchases (yes plural) have been expired and extremely dark to where the oil almost looks black, the employees also refuse to take my purchases back and offer an exchange. Cool theme setup on the inside, but very inviting small house on outside with little picket fence. Cute! Much like Jamaica Joel's or any dispensary which is not so easy to get into for the handicapped or other disenfranchised communities just call ahead of time. The folks at these dispensaries will be happy to meet you at a more accessible location around their business. So great inside theme with a staff which can be hit or miss whether the Spacebuds experience is a stellar out of this planet vibe or get out of this black hole now. Flower is decent, worth examining first as some is not near worth the price point. Beware of Frankenweed ! I passed out and hit the floor hard breaking my glasses, badly cutting my brow and bruising my ribs after just a couple puffs from a pre-rolled joint (Purple Punch). I smoke weed daily my entire adult life (I'm 54), I used to be a grower and know a lot about cannabis, this doesn't happen unless dangerous chemicals were used in the growing process. We had the best experience here! We're out of towners in Eugene for a graduation. This was our first Oregon dispensary experience. I came here to buy a gift for my dad, however they didn't have the device we were looking for. They recommended us try another shop in town and sure enough they had it. But back to Spacebuds....
