There's a lot of REALLY good people who work there. Unfortunately, they're managed by "Felicia." I ordered delivery recently. Submitting the delivery request was met with an error message, so I called to confirm it had gone through. It had. Well over the allocated window of delivery I was quoted, I called again, as one does. Felicia was immediately combative. She told me I had called before (yes, I know--but that was an hour ago). I explained the situation and she became more hostile. She proceeded to tell me that they can cancel my order and cancel me as an account altogether. Then she told me to stop yelling at her because I contradicted her story, but I never raised my voice. Then told me how I'm the best tipping customer, and that all her drivers absolutely love me. Then she went off on a rant about how "everyone in the store can hear me" before telling me "she's going to put me on speaker." When she was done speaking, I asked if I was still on speaker and she told me that I never was. It was just a tactic to maintain control. This is not normal behavior. It's really volatile and not the person you want representing your business. Felicia. If you read this. Get the help you clearly need. If you are the manager, your employees need better. I like the shop alot but I'm giving two stars for their advertising. On Tuesdays they advertise $35 ounces. I came this morning and they didn't have any in shipment but they would have some later this morning. The signs all still noted the $35 ounces. I offered to pay in advance to hold one then pick up later. The person working with me gave me the option to call me back when the farm brought in the delivery. She did and then the price jumped up to $42 dollars on the phone. She cited the farm raised prices but honestly I lost interest after that. I'll probably come and check out their stuff another time but this interaction was interesting to me. read more

Jamaica Joels had some hard to find super flower at affordable prices. Nice bud tenders and cozy atmosphere. The entrance to the building is on the 13th Street side with a sandwich board out front. You go up two flights of stairs and turn left on the breezeway and there it is! Really happy today that they had a strain from a grower that I have been searching for a month. Jamaica Joel's has some of the sweetest staff in the city. Occasionally there are excellent deals on Rebel Spirit cannabis or some tasty terpene packed strains on an affordable scale ($6 or less a gram). My first time in this shop was a year back (8/2017) in which Zkittles was purchased leaving me to make this a bi-weekly stop on my dispensary hop. Went in the other day and the one guy was a jerk!!! Wanted to get the oil and it said $40 on the bag so we wanted to get 2. Then the guy said $90. We showed him the bag price and he still said $90. Didn't offer any discounts so we left telling him we could get cheaper elsewhere and walked out. Did really didn't care at all!! Never going there again! This doesn't deserve any stars!!
