Even though there were many salons closer to my new home, I went to see Steven based on this recommendation. I was not disappointed! He was so nice, friendly, and on time for my appointment. The salon was spacious and clean. My husband had a pedi with Vin and said he was great, too. There was another technician there, Pim, who seemed so kind - always smiling at incoming customers. I understand she does a great job with builder gel and will try her, too, in case Steven isn't available. Kelly was my technician and she did a fantastic job. She was meticulous in the preparation of my nails for polish. She gave a very relaxing foot and lower leg massage, as well. Her polish application was perfect and she gave each coat time to dry. The result was a mani/ pedi that should last for a long time. It's already been three days with a lot of gardening and dish washing, and my hands still look perfect. Usually several nails would be showing signs of wear by now. She noticed I wasnt having a good day. It was very kind of her to be concerned. She did a good job on my service with correction, but a couple of things were not done that well. The building looked nice and clean. I used the restroom. 2 things stood out. #1 My pet peeve in ladies restroom, no hook for our purses! #2 spiders of all shapes and sizes were in cobwebs in there. Came in on 9/6 and saw Susan for SNS. She was clearly irritated that I was the last customer and was very aggressive on my nails. Did a poor job from the start but I still tipped, of course, as that was proper. By 9/8 (just two days later) the SNS started to separate from my nails, and one you can see from the photos had a very weird dark bubble underneath one of the nails. I came back in on 9/11 when I got back into town, with more than an hour and a half left before closing. The two owners and one nail tech was working (not Susan) and only one customer was in. I asked for a refund and showed them my nails. They agreed it was a poor job but refused the refund. They said they would redo them, but that I had to come back the next day. There was no reason to have to come back - there was plenty of time before closing and they had three workers but only one customer. They told me Susan would have to redo them, which I also refused. Why would I have an employee that clearly did them poorly the first time do this again? They made this a horrible experience and gave me no other options for a resolution. I left and went to Anthony Vince to have them redone there where it's always a fantastic experience. Won't make the mistake of not going there again in the first place. The technician at Anthony Vince was shocked at how poorly they were done. So, not only will this business not stand behind their work, they won't make it right, have rude employees, and run an improper establishment. Hope they get replaced in this shopping center soon. Take your money elsewhere. We all work too hard to spend it here. Zero stars.

First, the technician filed my nails down so much when I told her I was trying to grow them out. Looking from a palm view you can't even see my nail over my finger tip anymore. I had asked for rounded and she gave me more of an almond shape. Second, she made me bleed while filing my nail. Not only did she make me bleed she continued to try and file that spot two more times! This is concerning because I'm pregnant and being very conscious of not going to nail salons with any nicks/cuts/wounds on my hands or feet, I'm not sure how clean their tools are, and she dropped the file on the ground and kept using it. Last, the first color I chose was very faint so I asked if we can choose a different brand/color. The second one was also faint and required four layers. And it was an uneven color and there's a fuzz stuck on my thumb nail. The products they use are subpar and do not match the color of the samples. I didn't have the patience or time to ask for them to redo it, nor did they offer any discount. There's a salon right across the street that I've had way better experiences at and encourage you to go to if you're in the area. I decided to go here because I completed a return at UPS next door right before. I always feel bad leaving reviews like this, but friendly staff doesn't overcome bad service.
